Pat and the Group.

After Hazel was done, she went back down the mountain. She played a bit during the descent, so it wasn't boring.

When she finally reached the city after 4 days of not being home, she felt happy and headed back towards the home. She unpacked her things and fed Vu. Hazel then felt like she should get some food.

"Host, something happened."

"What?"

"Your daily mission changed." When Hazel was camping, her daily missions were unimportant. It was like "Make 3 smores 0/3" and it only gave exp. Her daily mission today was "Cuddle with Vu 0/5"

"Hm? What's the mission now?"

"Earn 10 style points. 0/10."

"..."

Hazel patted Vu, then went outside of the house. She took a deep breath.

"ARGH!" Hazel rushed around the streets. It was midday so she didn't have a lot of time to finish it. Plus, if the mission changed suddenly. Then the rewards would be good right?

After a while of running, she saw a curly blond haired man trying to escape from a hoard of zombies. His expression was so comical, Hazel just sat there watching him.

Eventually, Hazel snapped out of it and rushed over. She quickly hoisted him up on her shoulder, then she ran away as fast as she can to the woods.

"Ding! 2+ style points! Get 10 style points: 2/10"

"Yas." Hazel thought. (note: it's meant to be spelled wrongly.)

Hazel found a plain spot and placed the man onto the ground.

"You, why were you there?" Hazel asked. The man was in one of the most zombie infested areas of the city.

"A-Ah, well I got separated from my team..." The man was clearly nervous and exhausted from the zombies.

"Name."

"U-Uh, P-Pat!" Pat said.

"..Do you know where's your team now?"

"Um yeah I do.." Pat thought that this stranger was pretty nice. She was helping him, even though she didn't know him. And now that he thought of it...was it his charms working? He knew he was pretty good looking...but was it's still hard to believe.

Pat got full of himself a bit, and puffed up his chest. Hazel could get the gist of what he was thinking, but she just hid her disgusted expression and took Pat onto a roof top.

"Which direction?" She asked.

"U-Uh that way." Pat pointed to their right.

Hazel grabbed Pat and jumped onto another rooftop. And like this, they managed to find the group. Hazel saw a group of 2 girls and 3 guys huddled on a building.

She looked closer and saw that Lix was there. Huh, this guy was with Lix... Hazel just sighed and jumped down to the building.

"*COUGH* ACK F-*COUGH COUGH" shouted a girl eating a sandwich. She hurried to stand up and strung an arrow in her bow. She then immediately pointed it at Hazel.

The rest of the group also stood alert and got ready to fight. Then they saw Pat.

"Let go of him." Said a chestnut brown haired man.

"Ah! N-No put your weapons down." Lix snapped out of his daze. He was thinking where Pat could have gone, when he saw Ru jump down from a building. He wasn't sure if she was a friend, but she had Pat and could take down at least one of them if they got involved with a fight.

But with the situation at the church worsening, they needed all the help they needed. Losing one of them doesn't seem like a good idea.

"Lix, what are you saying?!" Said the sandwich girl.

"Lin, I said put your weapons down." Commanded Lix.

The group seemed hesitant, but they put their weapons down after Lix gave them a cold glare.

"Ru, what are you doing here?...with one of our team members." Lix asked. Although Pat wasn't an ability user, he knew a lot about the city and knew about emergency hiding spots. This was the main reason Pat was popular.

"I saw him being chased by zombies, so I helped him since he looked pitiful." Hazel replied. But in the inside, she was freaking out on how Lix was still as handsome as ever.

"..I see, thanks. But are you planning to stay here any longer?" Lix fidgeted a bit, observed Ru's expression. If Ru was planning to stay, they could try to get help from her. But if she had a violent answer, some people were guaranteed to die. Normally, Lix wouldn't do this, but the situation at the church was steadily worsening.

"...I'll stay a bit to rest up." Hazel was aware of Lix's intentions, but she thought it was normal since she was *cough cough* pretty strong if she had to say so herself!!! Plus it was a handsome guy... Hazel hid her smugness and just gave an aloof feeling.

Lix relaxed when he saw that Ru didn't take a violent approach, but he didn't know how long that would last. So he just tried to get friendly with Ru, his team members saw this and were shocked.

Their strict, cold leader was trying to get friendly with someone?! They didn't dare to bother Hazel in fear of what could happen.
