Eiji then switched to the general tab and saw a small square icon with a red dot on its corner in the top right corner. The icon closely resembled a letter you would get in your mails. Eiji quickly opened the Inbox by tapping it.

After seeing this, a smirk appeared on Eiji's face. He tapped accept, and suddenly he started feeling hot and feverish, his head started hurting, it felt as if he was constantly getting stabbed in his head.

He felt pain for a few seconds, but after that, he felt as if he was in heaven. Likewise, he felt cool and refreshed.

"System, what just happened"

"Skills were injected in host's body"

"I felt all that pain because of that?"

"Yes"

After hearing this, Eiji sighed and switched to the general tab, and noticed that the Host's skills section changed

"Alright," Eiji said while he opened the book in his hand, and started reading it page by page.

Three hours had passed, and Eiji just finished reading the book. He closed the book and held it with both his hands. He stretched his legs, closed his eyes, and sat cross-legged with his back straight. Likewise, he activated the Mythical Memory skill.

The darkness in front of him slowly faded away. He now stood in a completely white room, in front of him, a few meters away, was a man, that was completely black from head to toe, leaving his white eyes. The man stood there throwing punches in the air and landing kicks on nothing.

"Where am I? And why is the criminal dude from detective kid here?" thought Eiji

When he looked at the man with his knitted eyebrows, he started to see the resemblance between the punches and kicks the man threw, and the attacks described in the martial book. Eiji slowly walked over towards the man and started studying him. The man's expression didn't change at all, there wasn't even an expression to change in the first place.

Eiji then said, "Maybe, if I copy what this guy does, I will learn the attacks". After saying this, Eiji stood in the same way the black man stood and started throwing punches and kicks in the same manner and at the same timing as the black man. At first, the boy found it hard and threw the kick on the timing of throwing the punch, but slowly he started to get better and better, and after some time became as perfect as the black man.

When Eiji threw the punches and kicks perfectly for some time, the black man stopped and looked at Eiji, and slowly morphed into a normal person, with normal skin color and clothes on. Slowly he started to look more and more like Eiji. When Eiji saw this he said "What is going on?".

After a few seconds, the man looked exactly like Eiji. "Observe what I do, and copy that as closely as you can" The man said.

"You can talk? And why do you look like me?" Eiji asked in shock

The man ignored Eiji and started rotating his feet to stretch them.

"Answ-" Eiji said but was interrupted by the man

"Shut up, and observe what I do"

The man stood a few meters away from Eiji. He took a deep breath and lifted his right leg by an inch, and after a while slowly let it go. As soon as the leg touched the ground, the man disappeared, and half a second later appeared behind Eiji, and lightly smacked his head from behind, while he was still dazed.

After being hit by something, Eiji placed his hand on the back of his head and turned around, only to find that no one was there. "Just who-"

"I smacked ya," A voice came from behind

Eiji turned around and saw himself. The black man stood there, with his hands in his pockets and smiling

"Just how?"

"Flash steps"

The training ended, and Eiji returned to his consciousness. He sat in the same cross-legged position as before, and the book was still in his hand.

"I can feel it, something inside me has changed"

"The host hasn't completed a single quest today" Suddenly the system announced

"Are the quests today the same as yesterday?"

"Yes"

Eiji stood up, and saw the time in his watch, and learned that only two hours have passed, and there was still an hour before sunset, the perfect time to complete the daily quests, it wasn't dark outside, and it wasn't that hot outside. He then stepped out of his room and wore his running shoes. Eiji then entered the kitchen, opened the fridge, and took out two apples. Before leaving, Eiji checked for Hefin everywhere, but he was nowhere to be found.

Eiji then started moving towards the main door, when he heard the doorbell rang, Eiji quickly rushed and opened, on opening the door his eyes widened, and he seriously said, "It's you"
