Chapter 3: I Have Made Up My Mind

Wow my name sounds elegant.

I don't think that I will be able to go back to Korea, since I have already died.

I will need to get a customed to life here. But can I trust them?

What if they betray me like my past family? Even if they have money, they might betray me if the emperor gave them an order to kill me. That is if the emperor is evil.

But as long as I live a low life and stay out of sight from the emperor then I can live I guess.

But now that I think about it there is no point of them killing me so I think I can Trust them but for others I need them to prove that they can be trusted by me.

There is one thing that I have learnt from my past life, and that is that no one can me trusted in life.

Even if you have known them your entire life they can still betray you in the snap of a finger.

Humans are very selfish beings and that is a fact that cannot be changed.

I know that there are some people who can be trusted, but I don't want to risk it.

I don't want that to happen again in this life. So, I have decided not to trust anyone in this life unless they show me that they can be trusted.

Someone else had entered the room.

It was a little boy who looked to be 3 or 4 years old.

He was cute and looked like the Duke but had light blue eyes instead of dark blue.

"Sister's name sounds nice", said the little boy.

He must be my brother.

"Jake don't call her your sister! She is the reason why your mother died the only reason I came was to give her a name so that our family won't lose face", said the Duke.
