DERANGED :- A flash fiction

Cale landed without a sound landed onto the grey slippery rock...He looked around and was greeted with the sight pitch black darkness as far as the eyes could see.....He smiled and raised his right arm....and snapped his fingers ....

.A white flame appeared in front of Cale ....It was a floating Ember.....It illuminated the surrondings with white light to reveal ....A narrow corridor in front of Cale........Columns of dust formed a Grey Carpet up the corridor pathway....

.Cale looked the corridor quietly .....With languid look in his eyes ....He took his first right step forward without hesitation.....Dusty puff of smokes flew around each step he took forward .....As he walked ..He observed the rocky walls on his either side ...

.They were covered with roughly made carvings.....They were only few stone cuts here and there which seemed to made in a rush ...Cale narrowed his eyes as he observed the carvings ....It depicted men ,women and children and elderly ...

Running away from what seemed to be a dark mass...The dark mass with red eyes....with its tongues sticking out like a snake ...People were pushing and shoving ...walking over each other ...Injured were left behind ...The people who ahd fallen were swallowed whole by the Black monster... The carvings of the running people kept going and going ....

Until he reached the end of the corridor .....The wall ended leaving a vast empty space in front of him .....The light from the white Ember was not strong enough for him...to see what was in front of him '' He clicked his tongue and snapped his fingers .....The light changed to Orange ....

Cale s, eyes dilated....His legs were shaking...In front of him thousands of Human Skulls of all shapes and sizes were placed together on top of each other to form a huge mountain of skulls....Their dark empty sockets....seemed to be emanate despair ,terror and agony

Back in the beggining of the Hallway from were Cale entered a Black Mass emerged ....Dark crimson eyes materialised in front of what should have been its face.....Its eyes darted towards the floor ....the floor was covered with fresh footprints of a man ....

.A mouth materialsed and tongue emerged .....sssssss.....the Black Monster made a sinister smile ......It gooy saliva from its tongue dropped to the ground..Causing the ground to sizzle ...leaving burnt black patch .......

smelling the Human with its tongue...grateful for its next meal ...it slide forward without a sound ........

Standing in front of the mountain of skulls Cale s, leg was still Shaking ...He was finding it difficult to breathe .....that when he heard the sound "ssssssssss".....

His eyes widened and he turned around his back to face the direction of the sound.......
