1 "A Week before Christmas"

It's winter 2022, Japan is now covered in snow and coldness, but there's still smiles everywhere,as if the snow doesn't exist. Kodame Shinichi,a 15 years old boy,is taking a stroll around Shibuya. He said; "It's that time of the year again, everything is covered in snow, the kids are throwing snowballs at each other, the kids built a snowman, the shops are selling things for Christmas which will happen in a week, it's the same thing every year, and I'm not bored of it". Kodame visits one of the shops and buys a box of chocolates,he thinks; "This box is heart shaped,isn't this for Valentine's? Well,I don't have a girlfriend either,so I don't mind buying this". Kodame then went to the park and sat on a bench,while eating the chocolates. He stares at the fountain and said; "The water's frozen so the fountain is not working". He then saw a couple walking together while holding their hands. He said in jealously; "Wow, that guy's lucky to have someone with him during winter". Kodame then continued to take a stroll around Shibuya. He feels bored of Shibuya and decided to go to the park where couples usually date. He arrives at the park, and some couples are there sitting on the bench. Kodame says; "I will just walk around the park". While he's walking, a girl that's running bumps into Kodame. They both fell on the ground, and the girl said; "I'm so sorry, I'm so sorry, I was in a rush and I couldn't see you-" she continues to apologize as if she did something that's bad. Kodame said; "No no, it's fine".

Kodame saw a book that fell with the girl, the book's title is "Mathematic Basics for Highschoolers". Kodame said; "Hey, do you need some help? I am free right now, I can help you". That girl said "Ah, are you sure?". Kodame nods in agreement. That girl then introduces herself, she says; "My name is Miku Takane, I am 15 years old". Kodame said; "I am Kodame Shinichi, and I am the same age as you". Miku said; "Ohh, okay can you accompany me to the bookstore? I need to buy some exercise books for my studies". Kodame nods in agreement and walks with Miku to the bookstore. "So, why are you in a rush just now?" Kodame said. Miku replied; "I was panicking because I'm stressed with studying and I had to sit through an entry exam to attend this one school, sorry for making you go through all of this".

Kodame said; "Oh it's fine, I'm willing to help you this time".

Miku then smiles in relief. "Oh? It's snowing more here...." Miku said. "Yeah, it's snowing a bit heavily here, people can still go out though." Kodame said. They then arrived at the bookstore. "Wow there's so many books here!" Miku said.

"Here, I'll buy another exercise book I know for you" Kodame said. "Ah, it's fine! I only want one book". Miku said "No, it's fine this exercise book will help you with your studies aswell". "Okay thank you!" Miku said.

They got the books. Miku and Kodame then walks to the cashier to pay for the books. The cashier said; "Oh? Are you two couples?". Miku then blushes, then Kodame said; "No, I am just accompanying her to buy exercise books".

"Thank you for coming!" The cashier said.

Kodame and Miku then walks out of the store, "Oh? It's already 10 pm" Miku said.

Kodame said; "It's a bit late, I can walk with you to your home if you want". "Sure, thank you!" Miku said.

They then arrived at Miku's house, "Thank you for accompanying me today, I appreciate it alot!" Miku said.

Kodame said "Ah, your welcome, I sure had alot of fun today".

"Hey, do you mind if you visit me from time to time until Christmas ends? I am kind of lonely everytime during Christmas, so I will be glad if you visit me" Miku said.

"Oh, I don't have anything to do during Christmas either so alright I will visit you" Kodame said. Miku then hugs Kodame and said; "Thank you, I was always in my house with no friends, so this means alot to me...". Miku then cries in joy. "See you tomorrow!" Miku said. "Alright, see you tomorrow." Kodame said.

Winter has ended. School has opened once again, and it's the first day of school. Kodame enters his class and proceeds to sit at his seat. The class is crowded with so many students, some of them is talking to their friends and some of them is staring at the window because they don't have any friends here. The class starts, "We have an exchange student from United Kingdom, so please do be friends with her" the teacher said. "You can enter now, Takane-san." The exchange student enters the class, she has a slim body, blonde hair, and she's as tall as the teacher. The exchange student said "Good Morning! My name is Miku Takane, my mother is Japanese, and my Father is British, so I am half-Japanese, I look forward to being friends with you!". The exchange student was Miku Takane. "Alright, Takane-san, you can sit next to Shinichi-san" the teacher said. "Shinichi?" Miku asked. "Yes, you sit next to Kodame Shinichi, go ahead".

Kodame then feels shocked because the exchange student is Miku herself. "Oh, Kodame-san we meet again, Good Morning!" Miku said

"Oh, G-good Morning..." Kodame says while he's flustered.

"I'm glad we get to meet everyday now" Miku said.

The teacher then asked; "Oh? Takane-san, did you and Shinichi know each other?"

"Yes. We met a week before Christmas" Miku said.

"Oh that's good, looks like I don't need to worry about you not socializing with the class" the teacher says in relief.

The class then starts as normal.
