The Princess's Love

It was a rainy day outside. Classes were cancelled for a few weeks, meaning the Festival was also postponed. I looked at the ceiling as I laid on my bed and was in deep thought. What happened two weeks ago was enough to shake anyone, even me. I deserved it though. Because I got in business that wasn't mine, I caused others and myself to get hurt. My phone started to ring. I looked at my phone and declined the call. I didn't want to be bothered for a while. My phone rang again and I looked at it. Naomi was calling for the fourth time in a row today. I answered it and I heard her crying.

"Please...can you..come get me..?" Naomi asked in a soft voice.

"Naomi I.." I started but I was interrupted.

"I don't know who else to turn to, but you...please.." Naomi sniffled.

"Where are you..?" I asked, giving into her request.

"At Shimatsuki..." Naomi said. "Hurry.."

I sat up and ruffled my hair, sighing. I got up to get my jacket and an umbrella. I walked out my room and towards the stairs then heard Aisha walk out her room and she looked at me.

"Saki-kun? Where are you going?" Aisha asked.

"I just need to myself and walk around." I said and walked down the stairs.

"Motosaki.." Aisha walked towards the stairs. "Be safe..."

"Yeah.." I said then sat on the bottom stairs near the front door and took off my slippers to put on my shoes then walked out the door and locked the door.

I opened my umbrella and walked towards the train and got on then closed my umbrella. I wondered what Naomi was so upset about. About 30 minutes later the train stopped at Shimatsuki and I got off. I walked away from the train and exited the subway then saw Naomi sitting outside in the rain all wet. I walked towards her and stuck my free hand in my pocket then held the umbrella over her head. She noticed the rain wasn't hitting her anymore and parted her lips and looked up at me. I looked at her and our eyes locked.

"Not much of a Princess in the rain, your highness.." I said.

"You're 30 minutes late..." Naomi said and looked down.

"It's not my fault the train moved so slow.." I said.

"I know..." Naomi said and placed her hands on her thighs.

There was a moment of silence between us and I took her hand then helped her stand up. She blushed a bit. I brushed her hair from her face then brushed her hair behind her ear. She looked away a bit and I stopped.

"Why'd you call me..?" I asked.

"I haven't heard from you in days...I was worried and...I wanted to...just hang out with you.." She said and bit her lip a little.

"In the rain..?" I asked.

"No you imbecile.." Naomi said. "The stores are closed so I was hoping you could come to my villa."

"Just you and me..?" I asked.

"Is there an issue..?" Naomi asked.

"Nope, just wondering. After all you do need to change out of those wet clothes.." I said.

"Then let's go." Naomi held my arm.

We walked down in the subway and waited for the train. Not many people out because of the rain. The train arrived and we got on then sat down. I closed my umbrella and we rode towards the next stop at Takashima. Naomi looked at ease when we sat together. She shivered a bit and I wrapped my arm around her shoulder then pulled her closer and she blushed a lot. She leaned her head against me and closed her eyes.

"You're so warm..." Naomi said softly.

"I wasn't the one who decided to sit in the rain like a genius." I said and twirled some of her hair around my index finger.

"Shut up.." Naomi smiled a bit and snuggled up against me.

I took my phone out and scrolled through social media and kept twirling Naomi's hair and she relaxed by a lot. We soon arrived at Takashima and got up to get off the train. I opened the umbrella and Naomi held my arm and smiled. I looked at her then smiled back. We walked towards Naomi's house. After a few minutes of walking the rain stopped. I noticed and closed the umbrella. We made it to her house and she unlocked the door. We walked in and she closed the door and locked the door.

"You live alone?" I asked.

"Yeah, basically. The old man lives somewhere else because of his work. I basically have the house to myself." Naomi said.

"I see." I nodded and saw the bin I could set my umbrella down then placed it there.

Naomi took my hand and ran upstairs. I followed quickly. She took me to her game room and smiled. She basically had every game system that came out this year. We sat down on the beanbags and she turned on one of the entertainment systems.

"The Champion 4. You must really like video games huh." I smiled.

"Yeah, I play a lot sometimes. Sometimes play till my eyes hurt." Naomi smiled and handed me a controller.

"That's not good for you." I said and took the controller.

"You're the one to talk Mr. Hero." Naomi said. "Are you ready to get your butt kicked?"

"What are we playing?" I asked.

"Final Command. I've won a few tournaments in this game. I'll destroy you." Naomi smiled.

"Please, if this game plays anything like Tekken or Street Fighter, I'll destroy you." I chuckled a bit.

"We'll see, pretty boy." Naomi said.

"Let's get started, Princess." I said.

Naomi started the game after our little banter and she picked the two player mode. We then began playing. It was your classic fighter game with modern day graphics. It was actually pretty fun. She won most of the games, pulling off insane combos, but I did win a few. It really brought me back to the days my dad and I would play against each other in fighting games. We played for two hours then she switched the game and began playing a dating sim game called The Reasons Why.

"You're good with girls. I'm stuck on this part. What do I say to her?" Naomi asked. "I wanna get the perfect ending and I am at the part where I prepare to tell her the final reason why I wanna be with her."

"Well the third option is the best one. It has the best set up...he's starting off by not getting her anxious and worried. When confessing, you wanna make sure the other is as comfortable as possible." I said.

Naomi looked at me a bit then blushed and nodded, looking back at the screen and choosing the third option. It was the perfect choice as the girl the character was talking to liked what he said.

"To live a peaceful life like theirs...I would do anything for it." I said.

"Yeah...I would too.." Naomi said.

She kept playing and I helped her up until the final decision where she had to pick the reason why. She looked at me slightly blushing.

"Have you played this game before?" She asked.

"No...I just know how you think." I said. "I won't say it's simple but sometimes one doesn't have to overdo to win someone's heart."

"You're secretly one of the most romantic person I've ever met..even in the dating sim. You know what to say. Why don't you have a girlfriend yet?" Naomi asked.

"I don't know myself." I said. "I'm just afraid of messing up when it comes to being in a relationship. I don't want to hurt someone's feelings on accident nor on purpose."

Naomi set down the controller and looked at me. I looked at her then she scooted her beanbag closer to mine and took my hand then placed it on her cheek. I blushed a bit then instinctively brushed her hair behind her ear.

"Messing up during a relationship...is normal. You don't ever want to fear messing up. That's how your relationships grow. That's how you grow as a person." Naomi said and placed her forehead against mine. "Can..can I tell you something?"

"Sure.." I said and felt my heart racing.

"The past week we've been talking to each other, I noticed how sweet of a guy you are. Even though I've been a total bitch to you most times...You know what to say when I'm down and how to make me laugh. I'm sure you've heard it before, but I've fallen in love with you." Naomi said.

"Actually it's the first I've heard it being said to me." I said.

"Really..? Don't you have chemistry with Aisha?" Naomi asked.

"It's a bond that I can never generate with anyone else...no matter how hard I try, there's just something she has that no one else has." I said.

"What's that..?" Naomi asked as her voice began getting softer.

"My full trust.." I said.

"How can I earn your full trust..?" Naomi asked. Her lips and mine almost touched and I blushed more.

"You'll have to earn it.." I said softly.

"Well I know how I can earn it..." Naomi said.

She pressed her weight against me and kissed my lips, closing her eyes. I closed my eyes also. Her lips were soft and warm. She wrapped her arms around my nape then pulled back a little and opened her eyes a bit. I opened my eyes as well. She smiled and kissed me again. My phone buzzed, but I didn't hear it. It was on silent mode.

"Senpai isn't answering his phone.." Otsuki looked at her phone and her eyes became emotionless. "It must be the work of that worthless bitch Reiko and her worthless boyfriend Satori...she wants revenge against me so she took MY Senpai...I will save you Senpai!"

Otsuki opened her closet and took out a black jacket and a mask. She put on the jacket and mask then took black gloves out of her dresser and put them on. She took out a box and looked at the phone that was in the case. Voices spoke to her but she didn't open the case. She just grabbed the gun from a safe and walked out of her room and out the house.
