The Night Out With Aisha

I sat on the couch of the Student Council Room and scrolled through my phone. Honestly living life like this at school wasn't so bad. Way easier than American Schools where they just pile work on you and then more homework that students could just cheat on. Otsuki sat beside me and read a book and Tsubami was working on some paper work.

"Miss President! Can I come in?" A male student asked.

"You may enter." Tsubami said.

"I've come with the information about the new transfer student. She's now in the main office awaiting your approval." The male said.

I looked at the male and noticed he wore the same blazer as Tsubami. He also worked for the student council. The male set the papers on the desk, bowed, and walked out the room and closed the door.

"There's another transfer student?" I asked.

"Yep. Her name is Naomi Moji." Tsubami looked at the papers.

"Naomi? You mean the Naomi we met in Elementary?" Otsuki closed her book and looked back at Tsubami.

"Might be...I can't remember. It's been nearly 12 years since we last heard of her." Tsubami sighed a bit and placed the papers on the desk.

"How about you take a break a bit." I turned my phone screen off. "You've been overworking yourself for the past hour."

"I'm pleased that you're concerned for this ol' metal head, but work isn't gonna get done if I take breaks.." Tsubami smiled at me.

"Well the work surely isn't gonna get done if you overheat." I stood up. "Just take a break. I gotta go, I'm walking home with Aisha."

"Alright. See you tomorrow." Tsubami waved.

"Bye-bye." Otsuki smiled and waved.

I nodded and walked out the room and closed the door. Otsuki stood up and walked towards the desk and picked up the transcript. Tsubami looked at her and rose an eyebrow.

"Naomi...I really do wonder if this is the same Naomi." Otsuki said.

"If you want to know so bad, I'll approve of this transfer and we'll see tomorrow. She's getting into class A-1. Her grades are Straight A's. I'll make a little visit to your class tomorrow to see also." Tsubami opened the drawer and handed Otsuki the keys. "I'll see you at home, gotta finish what I can."

"Okay." Otsuki took the keys and smiled.

Otsuki put the papers down and walked out of the room. Tsubami leaned back in her chair and closed her eyes then sighed. The Naomi they knew wasn't too different from what Otsuki was as a kid. They were childhood friends and very close.

A few minutes later, Aisha and I got home and walked in then sat on the couch. Aisha sat beside me and hugged my arm. I looked at her and smiled. She pouted and closed her eyes.

"What's the matter?" I asked.

"I wanna go on a date. Just you and me." Aisha looked at me.

"Alright then." I smiled.

"Wait, no rebuttal? No argument?" Aisha looked a bit taken aback.

"Why would I reject a date proposal from you? Literally I have no reason to deny such a request." I said.

"Let's go get ready then!" Aisha let go of my arm then stood up quickly and ran upstairs to get ready.

I, too, got up to get ready for the date and went upstairs. I went in my room and opened my suitcase and pulled out a picture and looked at it for a bit. A picture of me, dad, mom, and Aisha from 4 years ago...We were at the water park in this picture. The memories of this day suddenly came back to me in an instant.

{Flashback}

"Dear! Hurry so we can take this picture!" My mother said.

"Yes, yes, I'm coming." My father chuckled.

"I can't wait to show this to mama and papa!" Aisha said and looked up at my mother while being embraced in her arms.

"This is so embarrassing." I said and rubbed the back of my head.

"Chin up! Now say Cheese!" My father laughed and wrapped his arms around my neck.

"Cheese!" We all said, but the picture caught me and Dad off guard.

"Motosaki?" Aisha knocked on the door.

I heard her voice and wiped my eyes and sniffled. I set the picture down and cleared my throat. She walked towards me and looked at the picture I set down then smiled softly.

"You know...I miss them too...They were always so kind to me. Like my parents were to you." Aisha said.

I couldn't speak and my hair covered my eyes. The memories of my parents rushed at me at once. Aisha kept looking at the picture and sniffled.

"When...I heard news of their disappearance, I didn't know how I would recover from it. I had assumed you were out of my life also because I knew how much you loved them." Aisha's smile turned into a sad smile and her eyes began watering. "They were my Godparents...I wish they hadn't disappeared."

Hearing Aisha's voice reach the point of sadness hurt me a little. As much as I missed them, Aisha did also. We spend every waking moment together. Her parents were like my parents and vise versa. Aisha placed her head on my arm and sniffled.

"There's not a moment where I don't think about how broken you are Saki-kun...I can see it in your eyes, your smile...I can hear it in your words." Aisha said and wiped her eyes.

"It's that noticable huh..?" I finally spoke.

"Yeah...To me it is. I know you better than anyone else could. I know how much you're hurting and I want to help you..." Aisha said and held my hand. "I want to help you get through it as much as possible. Because..."

Because..? Why did she pause? It was almost like she lost her train of thought. She shook her head and smiled then let go of me.

"I'll tell you that secret another time..." Aisha wiped her eyes. "For now, let's get ready. Our night out together is bound to cheer us up!"

Aisha pulled me down and pecked my cheek then walked out of the room. I blushed a little and stood up straight. I smiled and wiped my eyes and began to pick out clothes to put on for the date.

It took me about 25 minutes to get ready. I walked out of the bathroom with a black button up jacket and a white t-shirt with black jeans and black shoes. I also wore my gold earrings. I waited for Aisha to be ready and leaned against the wall. Aisha walked the bathroom in a white summer dress and a light blue sweater with white low heels. She did her make up perfectly and wore the pendant I made for her in 9th Grade. It had her birthstone on the necklace which was Aries.

"Well you're the king of casual dates huh? You look nicer than normal even in casual clothing." Aisha smiled. "And is that Cinder Oak cologne I smell? My favorite."

"I didn't want to overdo it, as usual. Plus you're looking stunning as always." I looked at her and smiled. "You smell like you used Summer Peach perfume, which is my favorite scent."

"I know." Aisha giggled.

We walked downstairs and walked out the house then I used the house key to locked the door. I put the keys in my jacket pocket then we walked from the house and I wrapped my arm around Aisha's shoulder and she smiled and held my hand then we walked towards the train station.

"Where do you want to go?" I asked.

"It doesn't matter to me. I just want to be with you right now." Aisha smiled.

"Alright." I smiled and tapped her nose with my finger.

Aisha laughed a bit and held my hand down and blushed. We waited at the train station and sat down as we waited. She sat closely to me and played with my fingers as we talked and we laughed about old memories. The train finally arrived and we got on the train then sat down.

"I can't remember the last time we even went on a date." Aisha said.

"That was around the summer of our freshman year, when we were potential lovers." I smiled.

"Oh god." Aisha laughed. "We were so crazy for each other. My dad and your mom was very protective of us at that time also. After our first date, my dad asked if I was still a virgin."

"My mom asked the same." I chuckled. "They thought we were that irresponsible?"

"I mean..." Aisha smirked.

"Oh shut up." I smiled and covered her mouth.

Aisha giggled and took my hand from my mouth. Around 35 minutes later, we made it to Fushikawa and the train stopped. The doors opened and we all got off the train then I wrapped my arm around Aisha's shoulder and she held my hand and interlocked our fingers together. We walked down the main district and saw it was quite a lot of people out tonight. We stopped at a restaurant called The Sweet Blossom. It was a decent restaurant and Aisha said it was good from her experience.

"Welcome to our establishment, dear lovely couple. A table for two?" The woman smiled.

"Yes." I nodded.

"Right this way." She nodded and led us towards a table. "Here you go."

We sat down and the woman set down two menus and silverware wrapped in napkins.

"Can I get you started with something to drink?" The woman asked.

"Yes, I'll take a Pink Lemonade." I smiled.

"I'll take one of those as well." Aisha nodded.

"Alright, two pink lemonades. By the way, my name is Sako Hina. I'll be your waitress for today and if you ever need anything, just say the word." Sako smiled and walked off.

"Customer Service is very nice here." I said.

"Yeah...I enjoy coming here with the girls and we have fun. In a dating manner, it just has such a different feel to it. Well with you, I'm very comfortable. I tried coming here with other guys, but it was kinda awkward." Aisha smiled.

"Oh like how?" I rose an eyebrow.

"They would try to touch me in ways I wasn't comfortable with. One of them tried to rub his hand up my thighs and seduce me. It was so weird when I rejected him also." Aisha shook her head.

"I can only imagine." I chuckled.

"You haven't had any experience with dates in Arizona, Mr. Steal All The Girls?" Aisha smirked.

"Nope, none of them met my standards." I said.

"Oh but only five girls here met your standards?" Aisha giggled.

"One of them is a brat..a cute brat. One of them is a straight up metal head, one of them has some obscure fantasies, one is just a pure Deredere...and one is the girl I'm most comfortable with." I smiled and tapped her nose with my index finger.

Aisha closed her eyes and smiled. She opened her eyes and looked at me with a slight giggle. Sako came back with two pink lemonades and set them on the table.

"Can I get you started with some appetizers?" Sako asked.

I looked at Aisha and she shook her head.

"We'll just get started on the meal." I said.

"Alright, what will you be having?" Sako asked.

"I'll have the steak with a side of lobster mash potatoes." I said.

"Mmmkay." Sako wrote it down.

Aisha pointed to what she wanted and I nodded.

"She'll have the Matsumi Style Omelette." I looked at Sako.

"Ma-tsu-mi style omelette!" Sako wrote down what Aisha wanted and nodded. "Got it, we'll have your orders ready shortly."

Sako walked off and Aisha and I continued our conversation. 25 minutes later our orders were ready and a waiter came with a large circular tray and Sako hurried with a stand and put it down then the waiter set the tray down on the stand and picked up the plate with the omelette first and put it in front of Aisha. He picked up the plate with my order and set it in front of me.

"Enjoy!" Sako smiled and bowed then picked up the stand and walked off.

The food smelled delicious, almost as delicious as mom's home cooked meals. The smell was like a quick trip to Paradise. I unwrapped the silverware and picked up the fork. I tried the food and the flavor was extraordinarily explosive. The different combination of seasonings and the chewiness of the stake was heavenly.

"You seem to enjoy it." Aisha smiled. "The food here is amazing right?"

"Yeah...I haven't felt like this in a while when eating food." I said.

Aisha smiled and ate her omelette. The Matsumi Style Omelette was a special omelette that used Grade A eggs, ham, apple smoked bacon, and cheddar cheese, topped off with special sauce. It looked extremely fluffy. Aisha cut a piece and set it on my plate and wanted me to try it. I nodded and used my fork to pick it up and put it in my mouth. The omelette tasted god like as if the Angels from Heaven came down and cooked it themselves. Eating that piece of the omelette was so pleasing and left my mouth watering. Aisha giggled and wiped my mouth. I smiled at her and allowed her to wipe my mouth.

Around 40 minutes of eating and sitting at the table chatting, Sako brought the bill out. The total was ¥5,358. I nodded and took out the money and put it in the folder and she bowed then took the folder then Aisha and I left. Aisha put my arm around her shoulder and wrapped her arm around my waist.

"Thank you." Aisha smiled.

"No need to thank me." I smiled.

"No need to be so modest. I genuinely appreciate this date. It brought me back to the old times. I couldn't ask for anything more." Aisha smiled.

"I'm just happy that you're happy. The date was a success." I chuckled.

Aisha and I got to the train station and got on the train to go back home. Around 35 minutes later, the train stopped and we got off the train and walked back home. It was 6:45 PM when we made it home. I unlocked the door and we decided to spend the rest of the night together whilst watching a movie. I made the popcorn and Aisha picked out a movie. I walked back to the couch and sat beside Aisha.

"You sure love your cheesey romance movies." I chuckled.

"Oh shut up, at least it isn't something boring like your typical Princess and Prince Charming movie." Aisha giggled and sat against me.

We watched the movie. 50 minutes into the movie, Aisha put her head on my shoulder and I wrapped my arm around her shoulder. She smiled and looked up at me then I looked at her. It was like when we were 15 all over again. She held my cheek and leaned up then kissed my lips, closing her eyes. I closed my eyes as well and took in this moment as this was our official first kiss.
