22 22 Neji Hyuga

The anime didn't really cover fuinjutsu so I'm really just writing bs... don't trust my writing here. Only really wanted mc to learn fuinjutsu because I remember Jiraiya sealing amaterasu flames via fuinjutsu.

Shigeo had come back to his apartment and was now sitting on his room floor. By his side were various equipment ranging from empty scrolls, ink, and brushes.
He was currently trying to understand the fuinjutsu book that he had bought from Jin's store. He looked through the book as he tried to comprehend what Fuinjutsu was used for.
Fuinjutsu or the art of sealing. Was a type of jutsu that is capable of sealing objects, living beings, and chakra. Not only that but it could also be used for another multitude of tasks like restricting movements. There is also another extension of it called barrier ninjutsu/fuinjutsu.
Fuinjutsu requires the presence of seal marks in the form and appearance of formations and formula's of kanji or other symbols.
'So it's not just kanji, it could just be symbols in general?' Shigeo thought as he read through the basics of the book.
It talked about fuinjutsu as a whole but it only taught how to make low level storage seals and restriction seals.
'I have practiced my calligraphy and I should be somewhat good in it, I have after all practiced since 3 years ago...' Shigeo thought as he took a opened an empty scroll and grabbed his brush.
He gathered his chakra and tried to combine it with the ink on his brush and began to move his brush and write one the empty scroll. He was currently attempting to make a storage scroll so he quickly began writing various symbols along with some kanji added in.
Finally finishing on his last symbol he quickly put his brush down and stared at his work. Since the ink was combined with chakra, it had dried the instant he wrote on the paper.
'Lets see if this works' Shigeo said as he put his brush on the middle of the scroll. Directly on top of the only part of the scroll that did not have any sybols ir kanji on it.
'Seal!' He thought as he made a hand sign.
With his observaton haki, he suddenly felt chakra encase the brush as in a puff of smoke it disappeared and now in the middle, there was a huge kanji on it. 'Success' Shigeo thought.
'But this isn't enough, this is merely a storage scroll' He thought. As through the very first time he was fascinated by fuinjutsu he had done extensive research about it. One can even use it through battle as one can use fuinjutsu to absorb and seal ninjutsu attacks consisting of the five elements.
'I'll need to find more books on fuinjutsu and.. money' Shigeo thought as he got up before and looked around the mess he made.
'...Though Jin was right, I could just sell storage scrolls to the shops in the market district' Shigeo thought with a smile. 'I can sell them for a little cheaper than the ones in the market, that way my scrolls will be the ones that the citizens will choose to buy becayse of the price.'

After practicing for a few more times, Shigeo grew tired of it and decided to take a break. He had nothing better to do so he opted to just go see what Team Gai was up to.
Making his way to training ground 5 the first thing he saw was Neji Hyuga doing a set of kata's for the gentle fist, the Hyuga's signature taijutsu style.
"Well, as hard working as ever, Neji" Shigeo said catching the older boy's attention.
The Hyuga in question turned towards him with narrowed eyes as he asked coldly "What are you doing here?"
"Woah there, if I didn't know any better. I would think you didn't like me, Neji" Shigeo said with a smile that wasn't a smile. He liked everyone in team Gai, except one person. Neji, the person who had the biggest stick up his ass even more than Sasuke Uchiha.
"It's cause I really don't like you" Neji said looking at Shigeo.
"Well the same could be said for me, though you didn't like me the moment we met. Maybe its because you knew that you were fated to be inferior tome" Shigeo said as veins started bulge out near his temples.
"What was that?!" Neji said resentfully. The reason was that it was such a sore spot for the Hyuga.
Shigeo had heard from Gai that he had a new genin team, and since he was pretty much Gai's apprentice he wanted to check them out. Though things did not turn out smoothly however. As a conflict between He and Neji had been made which led to both battling it out. Though in the end, Neji lost but it wasn't even a fight. More like a one sided beatdown as Shigeo was just more skilled than the Hyuga in taijutsu.

One Year ago
An 11 year old Shigeo stood next to Gai as he looked at the three 12 year old's.
"Alright, My ever so youthful team! I want to introduce someone to you all, this right here is Shigeo. I've known him since he was 9 and could qualify as my student, so think of him as one of you!!" Gai said as he introduced him to his team.
"Yo, I'm Shigeo" He said as he looked at the three
"Hello, My name is Tenten. If anyone bullies you in the academy, you can tell me about it" The older girl said as she pat Shigeo's head.
"Uh...sure" Shigeo said before he turned to look at someone with eyebrows as thick as Gai's.
"Ooh, Well hello there Shigeo-kun! I'm Rock Lee, my dream is to be a ninja just like Gai-sensei! Even though I have no talent for Ninjutsu or Genjutsu, I'll make it through taijutsu" Lee said passion.
"Is that so, that's a great dream Lee-san" Shigeo said though he heard a snort from the other boy.
"Huh, what is it?" He asked turning to the Hyuga.
"An almost impossible dream" The Hyuga snorted
"Haaa? Well aren't you retarded. Don't you know your Jonin sensei, Gai-sensei, became a jonin purely through his taijutsu prowess?" Shigeo said as he looked towards Neji.
"Besides who are you to denounce someone else's dreams like that?" Shigeo said scoffing at the Hyuga.
"Hmph! I'm just stating facts. And unlike Lee, Gai-sensei can actually use ninjutsu he just prefers not to" The Genin said.
"Did you not hear a word I said earlier? I said Gai-sensei made it to the rank of Jonin without the use of ninjutsu and with taijutsu alone. Gai-sensei even told me he barely knows low level ninjutsu. Therefore you only spout nonsense" Shigeo said.
"What was that?!" The older genin said.
"Well, both of you calm down. Oh I know, why don't the two of you settle this in a youthful match of taijutsu?" Gai said as he stopped the two and suggested to end it in a spar.
"Why would I do that? He's only just an academy student, he's clearly below me in skill" The boy said as Shigeo snorted.
"Really? And here I'm thinking that your just scared" Shigeo said as he eyed the genin
"Scared of you? You must be dreaming, you are not only younger than I am, but you are still only an academy student while I'm a genin. Against me you are fated to lose, so why bother?" The Hyuga said.
"Why bother? Because just because I'm in the academy, doesn't mean I'm not just as skilled as you are. Who knows, you might even be below of an academy student" Shigeo said
"Hmph! Very well then, since you want to be humiliated so badly. I'll entertain you" The older male said as Shigeo smiled.
"Haha! Great, this is what youth is!" Gai said as he looked at his two students who were about to spar. He hoped however that both would end their conflict with this spar.
...
Now both Shigeo and the Hyuga genin stood a few maters apart.
"Shigeo-kun, are you sure about this? You can still back out of this you know, Neji was the rookie of the year for our class" Tenten said but fell to deaf ears.
"It's fine" Shigeo said causing Tenten to shake her head.
"You there, I never got your name did I?" Shigeo said as he stared at his opponent.
"Neji Hyuga, you best remember it. After all, its the name of your superior" Neji said
"Is that so?" Shigeo said with a smile.
"Alright, both of you. I want a clean match of only taijutsu. No underhanded and un-youthful moves, now begin!" Gai said causing both combatants to begin their spar.
As Gai said that, both Shigeo and Neji dashed towards each other and attacked with their respective styles. Shigeo with punches and Neji with his palms.
Though they were sparring it looked more like they were dancing as both hadn't landed a solid blow to the other, not to mention how elegant the Hyuga's gebtle fist was and Shigeo's graceful dodging skills. They were both dodging their respective opponents attacks.
Shigeo sent a punch to Neji's face but the Hyuga merely tilted his head and sent a palm to Shigeo's stomach. Seeing this Shigeo twisted his body as he took back his extended hand and sent a spin kick aimed to the Hyuga's head.
Neji was obviously sent off guard as he didn't block that attack and was sent flying a couple meters back.
"Hmm? So this your limit, and here I thought you were strong with all that nonsense you spouted before. I guess you were only all bark and no bite" Shigeo said as Neji got back up and spat out some blood on the floor before he wiped his mouth and got back to stance.
"Hmph! That was only a lucky shot" He said as he dashed back to Shigeo.
"This has gone on for long enough actually" Shigeo said as he dodged all the blows Neji sent him by tilting his head or stepping out the way.
"Do you only know how to run?!" Neji said as he kept trying to hit Shigeo. But as he tried again, he saw that Shigeo vanished from his sight.
"As I said. This has gone on long enough, you bore me" Neji heard behind him. As he turned he suddenly was hit with a kick so strong that it sent him flying.
"Gah!" Neji finally only stopped as he hit the tree.
"It's my win" Shigeo said at the downed Neji. "It seems you're foresight was wrong. Much like all the other nonsense you spout"

"Well, anyway I'm not here for you" Shigeo said as he past by Neji and went to look for the others.
"You bastard" Neji said as he looked back at Shigeo's back.
He clenched his fist before he got back to stance and started practicing once again, albeit harder than last time due to his rise in anger.

I forgot how much of a dick younger Neji was until I re-watched some clips from youtube.

I can search for recommendations on reddit myself but i might as well ask some of u. btw the pairing can be any since i don't discriminate, it can be NaruIno, NaruHina, NaruSaku, and even male self inserts... as long as its a good read.
