7 "Towards Another World!"

Above a rock surrounded by a beautiful crystal-clear stream, there sat a graceful elf emitting a noble and tranquil aura. Nearby, a man with golden hair and golden eyes squatted with two large bumps on his head.

"Hey, Riveria, you're really cruel! It was just a hug, no need to react like this. Oww, my poor head!" The god pouted as he gently touched his head, trying to soothe his pain.

"Hmph, I should have hit you harder. Anyway, that doesn't matter now. Tell me, what did you mean about finding a solution to our problem?" Riveria showed no sympathy for her god's lamentable appearance and got straight to business, her eyes sharp as she interrogated him.

"Hey, you don't care at all about your god's well-being! I'll have you know, Riveria, this is domestic violence! As soon as we get to Orario, I'm definitely reporting you. See you in court—" Kaylon was about to continue his tirade after seeing Riveria's increasingly dangerous eyes, but he quickly abandoned his decisiveness and obediently recounted his plan.

"Alright, Riveria, let me explain it in terms you'll understand. Apart from our world, there exist many more, scattered throughout the infinite Chaos. Normally, gods don't bother searching for other worlds because the distance between each world is enormous and it's extremely difficult to find them in the Chaos. But your great god is an exception. Many millions of years ago, I sent a part of my consciousness to explore the Chaos, and guess what... I found it! Another world! How about that? Am I amazing or what?" Kaylon put on an extremely arrogant face as he recounted his great achievements.

Riveria, on the other hand, was stunned. To her mortal mind, concepts like infinite Chaos, other worlds, and consciousness capable of wandering through the infinite Chaos were overwhelming. Even with all the accumulated knowledge of the elves, she still couldn't fully grasp her god's words.

Meanwhile, Kaylon, expecting sounds of amazement and adoration, looked at Riveria confusedly. "Hey? Riveria? Earth to Riveria. Hey!" Oh no, don't tell me I broke her," Kaylon worriedly called out to Riveria, who was in shock.

"Riveria!"

"If you don't wake up, I'll hug you again."

"Hey!"

...

After some time, Riveria finally finished digesting the knowledge imparted by her god and snapped out of her daze. "Wahh, Riveria, you scared me! I thought I'd have to take extreme measures," Kaylon sighed in relief upon seeing Riveria come back to herself.

"Idiot, if you throw around knowledge that causes existential crises like that, don't expect everything to go well," Riveria chided, remembering her embarrassing reaction earlier.

"Jeje, sorry, Riveria. I didn't consider it before speaking. I almost hurt you," Kaylon apologized sincerely, feeling quite embarrassed by the situation.

"It's okay. I know you didn't do it on purpose... But other worlds, huh? That sounds incredible. Um, I see. I understand why you say this solves our problem. I suppose you're thinking of going to those worlds to recruit members... Am I right?" Riveria, as a noble elf with elite education, quickly saw the solution her god was hinting at.

"Jeje, as expected of our Riveria, always so intelligent. That's right, the solution I offer you is that. Let's go to other worlds and bring back new members!" Kaylon raised his hands to the sky excitedly, thrilled at the idea of meeting characters from his favorite anime in his past life.

"All right, then. When do we leave? Is the journey difficult? Do we need provisions? Money? Is there abundant food where we're going, or is it scarce? Is it safe?" Riveria, now immensely accepting the idea, switched into mother mode and began asking about every concern she had.

"Okay, calm down. Don't worry, in the world we're going to, we won't need any of that. Well, except for money before we go. But Valis (Danmachi currency) won't serve us there; we'll have to exchange it for minerals like gold or silver, which will be more useful where we're going. And we'll also need..."

...

After a trip to a nearby city to exchange their Valis for gold, silver, and gemstones, they bought provisions—not many, but enough for the time being—weapons, some medical supplies, and other necessary items.

After borrowing a carriage, which Kaylon pulled like a packhorse (haha), they returned to the stream where they had been before, leaving their belongings nearby, ready to travel between worlds.

"ALL SET, RIVERIA! LET'S GO!" Kaylon shouted excitedly, eager to leave immediately.

"Wait, you should let me double-check the inventory to be sure," Riveria, however, was nervous about making sure they didn't lack anything on their journey.

"Oh, come on! Riveria, you've checked it five times already; that's enough. Let's go, let's go!" Kaylon couldn't wait any longer and dragged Riveria out of the carriage, earning himself a pinch but enduring it as a man.

"All right, come on, consciousness! Open the portal," Kaylon communicated with his consciousness to open a portal to the world they were going to.

"Tch, hold on, wait. Do you think it's easy to open a portal without the other Primordials noticing?" After the complaints from his consciousness, there was a moment of silence before, suddenly—

Shhhhhh (another strange noise of a portal opening, just imagine it!)

A golden portal opened, a sacred aura seeming to infest the place, and the immense divine energy concentrated began to fracture space, threatening to shatter anything in its path.

Kaylon quickly took action, controlling the divine power that escaped so it wouldn't harm Riveria. Unfortunately, the stream wasn't so lucky, ending up completely destroyed. Where there had once been a stream, now there was only a crater hundreds of meters wide.

"Oh, my god!" Riveria, horrified by the scene, quickly jumped and grabbed onto her god's arm.

Kaylon, benefiting inexplicably, dissipated his previous anger at almost harming Riveria, and his mood improved greatly.

"You almost killed my future wife! Be careful," Kaylon angrily scolded his consciousness. The only reason he didn't insult it was that the consciousness and he were the same, so it would be like insulting himself.

"Sorry, sorry. I didn't expect that burst of divine energy," Kaylon's consciousness apologized.

"Riveria, are you calm now?" Kaylon asked gently.

"Um, yes, thank you, Kami-sama," Riveria replied, blushing deeply. If her god were to bend down and see Riveria's face now, he would see that her beautiful face was as red as a tomato.

After recovering completely, Riveria admired the majestic view of the portal. "Is this the entrance to another world, Kami-sama?"

"Um, yes, you see, what my consciousness did was create a passage between one world and another. This way, it's safer and more practical for travel," although spatial magic isn't his strong suit, he still has enough knowledge to create a passage between worlds.

"All right, then, let's go, Riveria. By the way, it's worth mentioning that you'll be the first mortal to cross between worlds in the entire history of Tenkai and Genkai," Kaylon smiled proudly at the thought of his family marking that achievement.

"Okay, let's go!" Upon hearing her god's words, Riveria became even more nervous. For her, a natural adventurer, being the first person to achieve something so significant undoubtedly made every fiber of her being scream with excitement. "By the way, Kami-sama, thank you..." A gentle smile appeared on Riveria's face as she sincerely thanked her god.

Kaylon froze for a moment, then replied to his elf, "Haha, Riveria, we're family; there's no need for things like this."

"Fine, let's stop with the sentimentality. Let's go!"

...

Long, long ago, a world was born. A great deal of time passed, and humans and other races existed. The passage of time brought about the flourishing of each race.

One indeterminate day, supreme beings were born—gods who brought both order and chaos to the world. Hitogami and other supreme deities influenced the world positively and negatively. These gods called this era the era of the supremes.

After much time, another era arrived—heroes and more gods were born, creating the era of heroes and gods. Wars erupted; kingdoms rose and fell; races appeared and disappeared.

After a while, the war ended, and the era of heroes and gods came to an end, leading the world into an era of long-lasting peace.

(I tried to give some chronology to the world of Mushoku Tensei. It's a bit complicated; if you want to know more, you can search on wikis.)

...

Somewhere deep in the core of the universe.

The surroundings are completely white; nothing can be observed or felt. An absolute void reigns in this place, but here resides a supreme being, a deity that has existed since the earliest era of the world—Hitogami, the human god.

The void, which had been silent for a long time, suddenly stirred. A completely white being moved within it. If not for its enormous sacred aura and its body, which seemed to shine like the sun, it could be indistinguishable in this place.

"What happened!?" A androgynous voice emanated from the being, its normally indifferent voice now filled with fear.

"I can't see!! The timelines have all changed!! How is this possible!? Why can't I see the cause? I have to find it and then destroy it. Search, search, search, search..." Hitogami continued repeating the same word as he desperately searched for the cause of the great change.

...

At the top of a small hill, a small deer peacefully grazed on grass.

Shhhh (another strange noise of a portal opening, just imagine it!)

The deer, upon hearing a strange noise, felt in the next second that great danger was coming. It didn't hesitate and ran desperately to escape this place.

BOOM

Unfortunately, it was too late for the deer. A tremendous divine energy appeared, and in an instant, the entire hill turned into it. It was as if a million nuclear bombs had exploded on the hill; every small part of it evaporated.

Now, where there had once been a hill, there was only a flat plain.

"See, Riveria, I told you it would be a quick trip. Crossing between two worlds may seem far-fetched, but with my passages, it's like opening a door, walking through a small corridor, and then opening another door, and there you go. Incredible, right?"

"Yes, yes, you're incredible. It's a pity that values like humility are not known to you."

In the destroyed and flat plain, a golden portal opened, from which a beautiful elf and a handsome god emerged, a cart levitating behind them.

The elf looked around, surrounded by some mountains and beautiful plains—a landscape worthy of painting spread out on the vast plain.

"The mana seems to be in lesser quantity than our world, but there's still a good amount. My body feels strange, as if a weight I didn't know existed has been lifted—a strange and beautiful feeling," after admiring the landscape, the elf concentrated on the sensations her body experienced upon entering the world.

"Hehe, well, obviously, the amount of mana is better here. After all, our world is at the highest primordial level, while this is barely a big world, three levels below ours. As for the sensation you felt of being liberated from a weight, that's because in this world, unlike ours, mortals aren't limited," Kaylon easily answered Riveria's doubts.

"Limitado?" the elf asked.

"Oh well, you see, in our world, mortals have limitations. For example, someone who hasn't received a falna, no matter how strong they train, the most they can advance is limited by their mortal body. On the other hand, those who receive a falna have broken that limitation and have embarked on the path towards divinity. That's also why the sensation you felt wasn't as great; it's because you've already freed yourself from your limits. If you didn't have the falna, the feeling of freedom would be much greater."

"I understand," Riveria quickly grasped her god's words with her intellect.

"Well, Riveria, now it's official. Welcome to the world of Mushoku Tensei!!!"

-------------------------------------------

So, this concludes today's chapter.

Thanks to those who read the work. Next comes an arc from Mushoku Tensei; it won't be as long as this one, as it's for recruiting members for the future family.

If you have a character you like from Mushoku Tensei, you can recommend them for the future family.

After this arc, the official fight against the dark faction in Orario will begin.

Enjoy! By the way, leaving a review would greatly help us improve our position, whether it's good or bad, whatever comes from your heart.

The same as before.
