Preface

A story written by me, myself and I, The Elusive Toutawoo. I am 17, almost 18 and well, it's my first time actually writing a novel. This book comes from a big place in my heart, created in a time where things hit hardest and I was at my lowest. So in a sense, I'd like this to be a book of hope, even if it is extremely depressing. And my dream is that one day, this gets animated! Ya know, become an anime and all?

I mean, the way I write is going to be mimicking Japanese light novels (turned into a English Webnovel)... because honestly, I was extremely inspired by it. Mushoku Tensei was honestly what made me want to write in this first person perspective and all. But ey, we're all nerds in the end.

However, joking asides—one last thing. I am very descriptive in my writing, usually, so there's a few things in this novel that I'd like to address. A content disclaimer. The novel has very dark themes such as graphic description of violence or things like suicide, addiction and such.

So that's a content disclaimer within this book. Reader's discretion is advised, and I apologize for any problems or inconveniences in advance! Otherwise... the story will start off in modern time— Japan—where we follow the journey of our protagonist, a broken man that imches closer to the call of the void. Just another guy having real rough time.
