1 Invisible Mosquito

I am 31 years old, and I live alone in NYC in a one room small apartment. My apartment doesn't have air conditioning, so in summer I need to open my window at night to let the cool air in. Of course, so many mosquitoes will come through the window, but I kill them before they suck my blood. Once I hear them flying around, I turn on my lights, get my newspaper, and start to look for them. When I find them, I slowly come near them, swing my newspaper, and kill them. Months ago, before I went to bed, I heard one mosquito flying around, but I didn't see it. I can hear it so clearly, but I didn't see it at all. I was so tired that night, so I decided to go to bed. Next morning, I saw six red dots on my body, it was a mosquito bite, and later that night I heard one mosquito flying around again, I checked my whole room quietly, but there was no mosquito in my apartment. I couldn't sleep that night, because that mosquito kept biting me and flying around the whole night. I woke up late for my job next morning, but I was tired so I decided to stay at home to rest. Once I slept 5 hours, I decided to go and buy some mosquito poison. I sprayed mosquito poison all around the house and decided to go to bed. That night, I heard that mosquito again, it was flying around my neck and sucking my blood, it felt like I was buried alive and couldn't get out of the dirt. This same exact thing kept happening for 5 days, and I was going crazy. I decided to go to the hospital to see if I am crazy or not. I told the doctor all the things that happened at night for 5 days, but the doctor couldn't care less and pushed me out of his room. You don't even know how stressed and depressed at that point. I came home from the hospital, I couldn't care less about the mosquito, so I decided to sleep and hope to get some nice dreams. I woke the next day as usual and counted the mosquito bites on my body, and it was 67. I was very depressed and ended up quitting my job. I bought my favorite food from the expensive restaurant, ate them, wrote letters to my parents, got my rope, and started to prepare to hung myself. That moment, I was thinking how just one mosquito made me do this and before I jumped from the chair I was standing on, I heard that annoying sound again around my neck. I slapped my neck and I saw blood come out of nothing. I was so confused, but I knew that I killed that mosquito. After that I get a new job, and never tell anyone anything negative. Just like the invisible mosquito you can't feel and see the negative things you saying to others, but that words can lead someone to depression or even lead to suicide.
