Chapter 2 The new Kid

"shina!!!" a boy and a girls voice were heard from the hallway which caught many students attention

it was Kim and Abigail.shina's best friend's

Kim has short blonde hair and has a brown cat eyes which made him look like an Egyptian while Abigail has thick black hair, and ties it in a ponytail and also has black eyes. they approached her quickly

"we've missed you shina!!" Kim said hugging her

"same here"she said putting on a fake smile

"we have something to tell you!"Abi said smiling and holding Kim's hands

"Noway!" shina gasped

"we are a couple!"

immediately the two girls started squealing loudly that some people had to hold their ears.

Kim joined in the squealing

"I'm so happy for you" shina said cause as far as she knows, last summer the two of them fight a lot but now .... a couple? deep down....she felt kind of jealous

"you've gotta tell me! how did it happen?" shina said gripping her pink back pack. . ... tight

"okay! last summer, during the holidays, Kim figured out that he was in love with this girl who ties a ponytail and has black eyes so he asked me out and I said yes!" Abi giggled "he loved me first"

"no you loved me first"Kim said pinching her cheek softly

their arguments kind of looked cute now that they are in a relationship. lucky.

the bell rang loudly. now she can be able to get to class and avoid the torture. getting to class, Kim and Abi had taken a seat right next to each other giggling

shina groaned and turned away placing her books on her desk

the teacher, Mrs Emily walked into the class

"welcome back students of Eastern Brooke high"

the students started cheering and clapping as they all settled in

"I'm sure you all enjoyed your holidays because we..."

suddenly the principal walked in and whispered something into her ear then walked away

"okay students, looks like we'll be having a new person joining us this semester "she turned to the door "come on ...."she gave a warm smile to the person standing there as soon as the students eyes fell on the boy they went speechless at once

the boy was tall and straight, his skin looked fresh and fragile , he had a rare blue eyes, he had long brown hair that reached his shoulder length, he wore a smart T-shirt, and blue jeans, his expensive looking back pack hand on one of his shoulder as he dipped his hands into his pocket, and he wore a smart pair of trainers which was Ash and matched the colour of his shirt.

"can you please introduce yourself" Mrs Emily said sweetly as he nodded

"my name is Han soo na.... I am an Asian - American, my family and I just moved here from Korea, I am looking forward to having a good moment here"he smiled and all through his speech, he looked at shina. their eyes met but she cut her gaze .

she felt uneasy .why on earth would someone leave a beautiful city like korea to come to a place like ....new York.

there was a loud clapping, as she was broken from her thought

"thank you H...h...a.."

"you can call me Vee" he said smiling which captivated a lot of people

"alright vee. you can take a sit by that girl in the middle of the row"

shina looked up to see Mrs Emily pointing at her" oh no...."she muttered under her breath. she could see vee walking towards her as she removed her bag from the empty seat

"hi handsome"she heard girls saying , waving at him flirting.

"hi"he said captivating them in his smile.

this is gonna be a loooong day.
