Reviews of Shift! The Side-Character Heroine

I give this full stars. I've always been a fan of Saekano and seeing a side-character slowly turns into a heroine is trully a bliss for me, not to mention the comedy of Su Li's curse never gets old.

This is one of my favorite book in my library. I recommend it to those who love to read transmigration stories. It have an amazing plot and the mc's classmate have their own unique perspective about the mc .at first you will think that the story is bad and some of you will stop reading it but don't fret over it as you continue reading this book , you will realize how good this book is.

So basically, the story is about a transmigrating girl with a golden finger: a gate that allows her to transport herself into stories. If she does well in the stories, she can 'import' the special traits of her story character into her real self. The first few chapters are a little confusing, but you get the gist of it by chapter 5. The author puts a lot of effort into how the MC deals with the import of talents and we see how she struggles with characteristics of the story character that was not present in her real self. It's interesting, because we usually see a smooth personality transplant, but here, the MC struggles with how she uses her 'imports' as when she uses them, she adopts a new personality/POV and does things differently from how she would normally, causing many misunderstandings. The side characters are very relate-able. I myself have done many of the things these characters have so I can understand where they are coming from. This makes them feel very real to me. The world background only gets a four from me because it is revealed so very slowly. From the sheer details that have already been revealed, it probably a 5 when done, but as it is, it's barely a 4.

I like this book. Recomend it to everyone who likes novels ^^ Novels bring happiness. I don't know what really else to write... This novel have bright future. All the best.

Trash. There are so many unnecessary details for things we don't need to know and absolutely no detials about the stories she enters. And I don't mean that it's not fleshed out, I mean there is NOTHING. Nada. The author just occasionally mentions things like she studied maths while she was in the book then continues with bull**** about the writing that the class monitor left on the board (in her real life). There is so much unnecessary bull**** about things that add nothing to the plot or setting that I skipped a chapter but the author was still going on with their nonsense. And no, it's not things that might matter in the future, it's just nonsense. The author spent half a chapter talking about how the kids stack up books on their desks to hide behind when they sleep during class, THAT HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH ANYTHING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The only reason I read this book was to see her inside the books!!!!!!!!

At least the side character can take the power!! I was tired of the badass MC, now go little side kick, show them you can kick to the top !

So far, I've read like 400 chapters in this, and I have to tell you, it's really entertaining. However, if you are a person who like to dive deep and go read or find books with amazing plot, I don't think this is for you. Some may think its lack luster. If your not looking for that, then try this out. It may seem boring in the first chapters, but as she get more character cards, she starts to get famous. The MC is sort of manipulative in a way because of her laziness. There are some 'cool' reveal scenarios, wealth, and mystical novel-hoping. It's a really fun read for me, but I do wonder with the YURI tag, is it just because of the Novel-hoping, or is our MC really goin with the yuri route?

Very easy to read translation wise, 5 stars there. Stability of updates seems pretty decent, 4 stars there. Well, let's get into the thick of it, the story development just doesn't feel 'real' it's like reading a manifesto. It's honestly so dreadfully boring with very 2 dimensional characters, I really, really tried to enjoy it because I have nothing else to read but it's just not possible. The world background is also pretty shallow and it's clear that the author wanted the world to be 'better' from his own POV like China ruling over Japan and Korea. The issue here is that he lacks the skills to write it properly without just stating 'China rules over Japan and Korea'. I must say that this story uses A LOT of copyrighted and well known characters/stories which kinda feels bad especially since it comes off as very rude towards the authors of said stories. The MC has pretty much no personality except being lazy and wanting to be a proper main characters in the sense that everyone will look at you, adore you, and that sort of thing, instead of being a backdrop (which she won't really graduate from) I'll end this review with saying that I absolutely love, love the concept of her golden finger but unfortunately the author just couldn't write up to par compared to his idea.

I think first it was trash by checking cover and view rating but whrn actual resding it becamr hiddrm gem .i like mc personality the best(She is both arrogant and scheming, good at manipulation people unlike other mary sue typical CN mc.) MC is like villian character but she is both charming and attractive. .

It's about Kato Megumi (from Saekano) giving her blessings to female side characters from all over the literary universe in order to make them shine even brighter than the main characters and heroines. It's the epic journey of how side characters butcher the hearts and tear glands of all the readers on their way to stardom.

It's great. It's really great! The more chapters I read, the better they become. I like MC 'saint' personality - she know how to live great. At least for now :-)

I really love this story. I used to see this in a pirate site but because i wanted to read this i even created a webnovel account. I love the high school setting and the supernatural element clashing together although sometimes tedious because repetitive circumstances..well nowadays its relatively common situation in all novels so yeah. I am a sucker for highschool overpowered female lead (like I am a killer or my classmate is 800 million years old) (but honestly this is better :) so it just hits the spot.

This story is good if you want to relax and laugh, and you can just drop in once in a while if you've had a bad day, this story has a lot of parody's, so beware.

Great, started off rocky but is getting more addictive. There is sooo much potential in this storyline, and its very original. I glad I gave this a chance.

I love this webnovel soooooo much! The storyline is absolutely epic! At first I didn't want to read this but after reading the chapters I have fallen in love with this story! I love how our main lead is amazing and won't let small things get in her way. I wait everyday for the new chapters to come out and they are just amazing. I would definitely recommend this as it is a SUPER good read!

I.LOVE.IT! This story have an interesting idea about transmigration. In the beginning the story greatly confused me even make me want to just drop it down, but after several chp more there just something that make me want to read it more and more. The world that ZYY wrecked also good eventought i know that it just like a fanfic and it just like IRAS with the concept of another world with different culture. What I want is just one. Please make it more... ^ω^
