Chapter 2: The Shadow Self Revealed

Holmes, Watson, and Dr. Trevor delved deeper into the case, following the trail of clues that led them to an abandoned warehouse on the outskirts of the city. Inside, they found a hidden room, and in the center of it, a large mirror.

Holmes approached the mirror, his eyes fixed on the reflection. "The reflection of the soul," he whispered.

Suddenly, the mirror shattered, revealing a hidden compartment behind it. Inside, they found a journal belonging to Kira.

Dr. Trevor opened the journal, her eyes scanning the pages. "It's Kira's innermost thoughts, his fears, his desires... his shadow self."

Watson's eyes widened. "The truth about his identity?"

Dr. Trevor nodded. "Yes, Watson. Kira's true identity is revealed here. He is... "

But before she could finish, a voice echoed from the shadows. "I am Light Yagami, and I will not be caught."

Holmes turned to face him. "The game's over, Kira. Your shadow self has been revealed."

Kira sneered. "You may have uncovered my identity, Holmes, but you'll never take me alive."

And with that, the final confrontation began.
