New Disciples

Shen Qingqiu woke up to his ceiling. His ceiling was pretty interesting if you asked him, because it allowed him to think about the future protagonist.

He's thinking of just letting Liu Qingge have him, but he didn't want him to be bullied over there, and determined that it would just be better if he had him. If he played his cards right, he wouldn't be turned into a human stick, because he wouldn't have beat the protagonist, but instead taught him well, and allowed him to collect a wife, whose name was Ning YingYing.

He'd treat him just like he treats all his disciples, with love and care, nurturing him to be the best he could under his teachings, and allow him be accepted even with his demon heritage, just like his own mother from his past life would have. Anyone who said otherwise would have the entire Qing Jing Peak against them.

He finally rolled out of bed and got ready for the day. After quickly straightening his hair out and putting it up with some impressive qi control, he walked around and found one of the seniors to tell everyone that he was going to see if there could be another disciple among them. After being reassured that they would know, he left to where the protagonist would be digging holes by a lake.

When he arrived, he was slightly intrigued by the fact that he was almost late, to the point that his Liu-shidi was there before him. At least the brute wasn't staring at him anymore.

He walked up to the edge and observed the candidates. He realized there was a lot of potential among them, but of course the protagonist outshined them, even if he truly didn't.

His Liu-shidi had made mention of him, of course. When Shen Qingqiu had then made the comment he wanted him, his 'Qi-ge' had thought it was only because of Liu Qingge, but that was only for the original goods, not this one.

He made a snappy comment towards him and left to collect the protagonist Luo Binghe.

After he collected Luo Binghe, there was still enough time for him to wash up and get a room, then get started with the 'tea ceremony'.

After Luo Binghe was taught to make tea, he presented his make to his future shizun. Shen Qingqiu hummed in acknowledgment at the taste. Truly, the protagonist was gifted in whatever he did!

He formally accepted him as his disciple and sent him off to get a cultivation manual that he had approved of from Ming Fan. He would be able to tell if it was fake, each correct manual giving of a faint qi signature that can't be given off from a fake.

He then got up and went to find Ning YingYing to tutor our dear protagonist. This should at least get them on good terms with each other. And he would have Ming Fan and a few seniors to help him integrate into the peak schedule, to help him build relations with people.

They were still during mental cultivation, as they won't be able to turn to light physical work for another few weeks because of the poor disciple with a broken arm, so it should help Luo Binghe start to stabilize his cultivation into forming a golden core. Most new disciples get separated for a while from their fellow shixiongs and shijies so they can stabilize their minds before doing physical work, but in this case, it won't be necessary.

He quickly found Ning YingYing and asked(bribed) her into tutoring her new shidi with candy as a reward to both of them. He also asked her to be his guide if she could, and if not, to get Ming Fan to do it. It was to help him learn the rules and punishments along with learning the layout of this peak, which was to house him while he cultivated in this sect.

After finishing a few chapters of his disguised novel, he prepared himself for bed, and went to bed with slight worry for his future.
