Luo Binghe

What Shen Qingqiu noted about the protagonist, was that he was very eager to learn and very polite towards everyone. He was very pleasant to be around, and quickly started to surpass some of his fellow disciples. In the few months he's been here, he hasn't really shown an interest in the sister that has started to orbit him. He treats her as a friend, but Shen Qingqiu has noticed him starting to stare at some of his male shixiongs from afar, when he wasn't assigned anything.

He would quickly correct his own behavior before continuing to find Ning YingYing for more tutoring, along with dragging Ming Fan around if he was free.

Shen Qingqiu never would have guessed that the protagonist himself of a stallion novel would be a cut sleeve at heart! He guessed it was because his first wife had stuck to him like glue, and he felt that women were the only ones to treat him well. He could understand that sentiment.

It seems as if Ning YingYing had noticed as well, because she never once had called him 'A-Luo' and never tried to push herself towards him, even if her attraction was obvious.

Despite Luo Binghe being a cut sleeve, he never really made an effort to try and strike up a conversation with them, unless necessary, content with watching from afar. He would have to put him on more missions with his shixiongs in the future! See which one he would start to fancy! Luo Binghe needs to have at least some good memories here!

His 'Qi-ge' had come by to inform him of an incident that was happening in a nearby town. His memory suddenly served him about a little mission in the original, something about a 'skinner'.

He accepted the mission, saying it would be good for experience for his disciples.

He made a list of who he wanted. Luo Binghe was obvious, along with Ning YingYing and Ming Fan. They've become a trio of sorts. He then started choosing a few shixiongs he thinks would be good for Luo Binghe, along with a few female disciples, to even everything out.

After he made the list, he called Ming Fan over, as he was still the one who took care of these affairs, and told him of the arrangements and to get what was needed, including transportation.

Ming Fan nodded and ran off to inform everyone on the list and to send a disciple to An Ding for the transportation. He informed them of the date in which they needed to set off and how long they were planned to stay there. Luo Binghe looked a little concerned for his own safety because most of his shixiongs that were on the mission had been ones he had stared at at least once, but nobody caught his expression.

The week went by quickly, and everything was ready to go. As they descended the mountain, they found horses tied and ready to go, a few being pack horses for some supplies. Ever since he learned to ride, Shen Qingqiu had found he quite enjoyed it, and did it when he found time for leisure or on missions. He needed to ride somewhat often in order for it not to hurt so much when he was done.

They all climbed up on their horses, a few disciples grabbing the ones that wouldn't be ridden, and set off.

Shen Qingqiu had opened his fan per habit and looked around the scenery while on the way there. The horse he was on was the one he rode most often, so they were familiar enough with each other that Shen Qingqiu could simply lounge and read on the way there, inspiring some of his disciples behind him, without having to worry too much.

He was a master at dividing his attention and still sucking information from his novel, so when he heard something, he was able to put away his book and fan and hold onto the reins, or simply to recognize when they needed to change direction.

His disciples were gushing at him behind his back, thinking about how skilled their shizun was.

Shen Qingqiu was very tempted to throw his novel at the ground, but was able to carefully NOT do that. In the middle of it had been some weird instructions for creating a liquid from one's body to calm someone's qi. It appeared to be something from the novel's world, and it was finally being put to use when the wife had decided to try and heal her husband's qi deviations before he was killed. She decided the best way was to produce breast milk, much like what she produced when they had children, and it worked?!

This is some Airplane-bro level shit!

No, he hadn't forgotten about him because HE WAS IN HIS WORK!!!

He wouldn't be surprised if Airplane-bro had also transmigrated into some writer and wrote this!

He decided that was enough reading for today and put the book away, starting to focus on the road. It didn't take long for him to see the town they were deployed to.

It was a nice, quiet town, with a not so nice nor quiet lord.

He has not comfortable watching an older man have such a young-looking woman in his lap while making googly eyes at each other. It was clear he wasn't the only one, but he could only save so many disciples by putting them on guard duty. Ming Fan was not one of them.

"Shizun, why did they have to make such a show in front of others?"

"Ming Fan, we can't comment on others' behavior. Even if it makes you uncomfortable. We protect them, and say nothing of their habits and choices unless it causes them danger from beasts, demons, or spirits."

"Yes, Shizun."

It always feels so cool to him when he says something philosophical! He only wished his family was here to hear it.

The mission went smoothly, and he even got to see some conversations start to happen between Luo Binghe and Yi Guangyi, one of the disciples he chose.

He was very excited when they even started talking on the way back. Yi Guangyi had started striking conversation with Luo Binghe, making him feel more at ease.

Yi Guangyi was a very respectable boy, with a righteous character. He tends to be filled with determination a lot, which had lead to some funny stories, and it was currently getting him to make friends with the protagonist.

Shen Qingqiu briefly wonders how he'll react with Binghe's reveal.

Will he accept it, or be heartbroken? Maybe Yi Guangyi will push down his righteousness for Luo Binghe? If the protagonist truly wanted him, he would somehow get his way. That was the golden rule of this world.

After a while of Shen Qingqiu thinking of all the possibilities, they made it back to the base of the mountain peaks the sect rest upon. When he lowered himself onto the ground, he fished out a satsuma and peeled it, feeding it to the horse he rode.

The horse was very happy at being spoiled.

His disciples took notice and decided to try and do the same. They waddled up to him and asked if the snacks they brought could be feed to the horses. He quickly dismissed them and instead handed them all one satsuma to share with their horses. He had some of them feed a few slices to the pack horses.

After the horses were properly spoiled, one of An Ding's disciples had appeared to take the horses away.

They went back to Qing Jing Peak and resettled back into the familiar space.

Now all he had to do was prepare himself for secluded meditation, and hopefully not kill himself.
