Leonardo: since when do babies rain from the sky?

murmured Leonardo meanwhile tilting his head to the side in confusion at the sleeping baby, following that Leonardo looked at his back where Oogway appeared looking at the baby in the arms of Leonardo in surprise.

Oogway: hooo, that child sure is interesting.

Leonardo: well obviously, this brat was falling from the goddamn sky.

Oogway: not that, this child, is special.

Leonardo tilted his head to the side meanwhile looking at the kid, meanwhile he was doing that Oogway started walking towards the baby, reaching it Oogway put his finger on the forehead of the baby, making a light pass through, finishing that Oogway suddenly opened his mouth in surprise before looking at Leonardo and saying.

Oogway: this child isn't a human, he's a god.

Leonardo looked at Oogway at first with confusion that soon became a dumbfounded look meanwhile looking at the baby in his arms, a little bit more calm Leonardo looked once again at Oogway and saying in a low tone asked Oogway.

Leonardo: you mean the god, like the creator?

Oogway: not completely, but yes.

Leonardo didn't respond instead simply looked stupidly at Oogway, which also was a little bit surprised by the sudden events both of them in sincronization looked at the baby which by now had woken up and was looking at the vagabond in front of her.

(A/N: I was thinking of making my protagonist look like the protagonist of vagabond)

The baby seeing Leonardo quickly extended his hands in the direction of him meanwhile making some happy cries, seeing that Leonardo couldn't help but smile a bit but quickly controlled himself instead looked at the ethereal turtle by his side and asked.

Leonardo: what do we do with her?

Oogway: if we let her here, the wolves will eat her.

Leonardo didn't say anything instead he just looked at the turtle meanwhile Oogway was doing the same, this continued for some minutes until the cries of the baby woke them up from their stupor making them walk back to the cave once again.

Reaching it Leonardo left the dead body of the wolf hanging in one of the threads inside of the cave to let it dry up a little bit, following that Leonardo left the kid on the half-assed bed making a head move to order Oogway to watch the kid.

Going a little bit further in the cave Leonardo quickly reach a small opening in one of the walls, entering by it a very small place dimly lit by holes on the top of it could be seen, inside of it there were different type of materials stacked with each other.

Taking hold of the skin of a bear Leonardo had killed long time ago with a flint stone he cut it in a smaller size the leather, taking the cutted leather Leonardo left the hole and went back to the main room.

The baby was trying to crawl on top of the bed showing that it was an energetic one, going to the baby Leonardo made some small holes on the leather he brought inserting delicately the fragile baby on it.

finishing that using his own ki Leonardo heated his finger a little bit and using that quickly pasted both loose side in the back of the baby without harming it in any way, finishing that Leonardo left the now clothed baby on the half-assed bed and went to the fire place just by the side of the cave.

Roasting the wolves he hunted, Leonardo took a small piece of one of them and went back to the baby, giving the piece of meat to the baby it quickly started munching on it, seeing that Oogway dumbfoundedly looked at leonardo and asked.

Oogway: did you just give meat to a newborn baby?

Leonardo: yeah? what's the problem.

Oogway: babies don't have teeths, they cannot eat that type of thing.

Leonardo didn't say anything instead just looked at the baby in front of her seeing her eating the meat without any problem, leonardo smirked and meanwhile pointing at the baby he said.

Leonardo: well from what i can see, she is having no problem.

Oogway didn't say anything instead simply shooked his head a little bit, following that he went to one of the corners of the cave and sat on the floor, Leonardo stopped putting attention to Oogway instead went back to take care of the kid.

Taking a closer look Leonardo finally noticed the silky red hair the baby had, this was accompanied by ruby-like eyes which surprised Leonardo, meanwhile playing a little bit with the baby Leonardo asked Oogway.

Leonardo: hey turtle, isn't this baby too young to already have hair?

Oogway: remember Leonardo that the baby isn't human, having this type of development is natural.

Leonardo nodded at the explanation and instead went back to the baby, seeing how it was sucking on one of his fingers Leonardo couldn't help but smile a bit, leonardo even though right now could be said to live like a cavemen belonged to the modern era.

Being unable of entertain himself with the marvel of technology Leonardo had a pretty hard time, either way soon enough he accustomed himself to that lifestyle but now holding the baby Leonardo could finally relieve some of his stress.

Without even noticing it hours passed by until the baby collapsed out of sleepiness, seeing that leonardo pat her head and accomodated her on the bed, leaving it in there he went to the side of Oogway and asked.

Leonardo: what should we do with her?

Oogway: dunno, we could eat her maybe, i have heard that human flesh is pretty tender.

Leonardo looked dumbfoundedly at Oogway hearing what he said leonardo prayed that what he just said was a joke, making an exasperated sigh Leonardo looked once again at Oogway and asked.

Leonardo: y'know, i don't think i am able of killing the baby or abandoning him, i know am a hearthless bastard but i still have my values straight.

Oogway didn't say anything instead simply looked quietly at Leonardo because of the lack of a good source of light the gaze of Oogway looked terrifying even more with the presence he gave, but even with that leonardo didn't budge, seeing that Oogway chuckled a bit but soon enough answered.

Oogway: do what you want.

Leonardo smiled a bit by the answer standing up from the floor Leonardo went back to the bed with the baby sleeping by the side of it as a type of protection, all of this happened with the gaze of Oogway which was smiling a bit seeing the warming scene.
