A contract

"Sir, Sir." Oliver heard the words of calling echoing over and over again in his head even in his dreams. He slowly opened his eyes when he felt a hand on his shoulders.

When his lashes were fully parted he could see the matured and partially sterned face of Elizabeth Clare. Dressed in a black suit with a light top and a black tie. She cleared her throat as she adjusted her rectangular glasses.

*"Do you get me little brat! Study, write, and repeat! Do you hear me?!" Sounds of books slamming.*

Oliver jerked up and hissed when he felt a light pounding his head. He grabbed his forehead and groaned.

"Sir, it is almost 8 am, I received strict instructions from your father to help you plan and take care of your health. Your plans are as follows." She pulled out a folded paper and unfolded it.

"You have a meeting at 8:30 in Zilda with your partners. And at 10:00 you have got to be in lectures. You have your violin lesson at 4 pm. You have to meet up with a certain Mr. Peter Ezekiel Jones to begin your advanced business lessons. That would be at 6 pm. You should be back by 8 pm to finish your work and be in bed by 10 pm. Oh, let's not forget your pills morning and evening." She reached for a cup and poured a glass of water for him while holding the small bottle of pills.

At that moment Oliver wished he had never known his father. All his life he had known that feeling of responsibility, too busy building the life his father wants for him. His father is yet to know how bad his health has become. The pills are no longer twice daily but every 4 or 3 hours depending on how he feels.

He brought his feet to the ground and sighed because he realized he slept in the clothes he wore the previous day even with his shoes on.

He reached for the pills without a word, "how many minutes do I have?"

"45, sir." The woman replied. She had a short black bob cut, with the look on her face she seemed strictly professional which he preferred and also feared. Because he had gone through a lot in the past because of a female instructor.

He swallowed the medicine and went over his quote. "I have done a million rides, one more would be a rotation before the end." He thought.

"I'll be down in a minute." He responded and with that Clare left, the sound of her heels knocking the floor of the hallway.

In no time Oliver was ready to set sail, in the ocean of his schedule. He scrolled through his emails and was left speechless by the instruction he got from his father.

He soon joined his wide table and luxurious dining room with no living soul. He sat on his usual seat and could imagine Evelyn at his side, acorn eyes staring through his eyes in fury.

He almost chuckled out loud but held back. The maid brought in the breakfast, as he uncovered them he cringed. "Legumes"

He looked up quickly and was slightly annoyed at his female butler. "What is this Mrs. Clare?"

"Your father ordered that you eat healthily." She responded.

Oliver squeezed his eyes shut furiously before opening them again, he sat up and cleared his throat before glaring into Clair's eyes. "The last time I checked, this is my house and I'm a legal adult. What I say happens under my roof, I want to scramble eyes and sandwich nothing else, what is this porridge of yours? And all those unnecessary words for nothing?"

"Sir, I'm-"

"I don't want to hear it, Clare. Damn it." He muttered. He glanced at his golden wristwatch.

"Fix this, I want a variety of choices I could choose from." He said as he stomped away. 30 minutes was not much time left and he couldn't afford to be late.

Immediately he was met by Tim who was waiting by the door.

"How polite, not even a good morning." Time teased. Oliver was too concentrated on getting there on time, everything else could come after.

They got into the car and drove off, during the ride, Oliver showed signs of weakness, and the headache was only worse.

Soon they arrived at their destination and the driver pulled over. Oliver was helped out by Tim, he strode into the building of Zilda and the heads of all the employees turned in his direction, some of them quickly resumed their work while others muttered words between themselves. He got into the elevator, Tim being his bodyguard. They got to the floor and walked into the meeting room.

Oliver pulled a seat for himself and took his place as the CEO of his company, he then proceeded to look at the file, the table was surrendered by people far older than him, and all he had in his mind was to get the contract at all cost.

"Greetings partners and welcome to Zilda, today we'll definitely decide on becoming partners after I present to you the visions of this company." Oliver started smoothly as the sharp old eyes stared at his young dull ones, glass faces all over the table, adjusting their glasses on him and clearing their throats setting their minds on their toes so they would be quick to contradict his words and take his partners to their companies. Of course, Oliver knew their plans and was raised for such battles.

He began his presentation smoothly and ended it with the profit each partner would get from the contract. All the investors nodded their heads, surprised by the young man's knowledge. except for one of them, called Mr. George by name, the man let out a sinister laugh bringing attention to himself.

"Why do we fall for unprofessionalism so easily, this is just a primary calculation, the chances of us and this company bankrupting is very high at 10% out of 100%, which is a high risk to be considered, and the brands might not work as good as you have explained it is a decoration people get bored of colors." Mr. George added a smile to his last words, the delight in the others slowly faded as they nodded.

"I admire your sense of zero risk, Mr. George, but as an *experienced Businessman you are in a better position to agree with me that business simply means risk," Oliver said wisely, and the people nodded to him while exchanging "True"

Mr. Gregory frowned deeply, "This is just some childish calculations, why don't Brookes come himself-"

"I have more than three degrees in business, two in finance and two in business psychology. Now, Mr. George, that is not something a child government would give, and I demand respect from you Mr. Goerge, knowledge speaks better than age, don't you agree?" Oliver chooses a different card.

Mr. Goerge held a stunned expression from the words the Youngman spoke, he had degrees, but none in business psychology yet this boy is so young and he already possesses two and is moving for more. "You, you uh, that's." he stuttered.

Oliver smiled sweetly as he slide the tablet across the table, "Challenge me, Mr. Goerge. Sign and prove to everyone else I was wrong in the future and I'll pay back your investment double."

Everyone gasped, Mr. George reached for it with shaky hands, "very well," he responded before signing with the digital pen.

Oliver shook hands with the investors including Mr. George after they had all signed, they bid him farewell and left.

He immediately sent the contract of Mr. Goerge who was their main target, Before he sat down on his chair and looked through the schedule Elizabeth had sent, that was one out of a million tasks.

Again he was rushing through the hall with Tim beside him looking out for him so he doesn't bump into anything. He ranted on so many things as they rode to the university things Tim couldn't make out of, and Tim felt worried for the young man.

Oliver walked to his locker with heavy steps and yanked the locker open. He grabbed his stuff and headed for class before he would be late. On his way to class, he came across Evelyn and her friend Madison, who she called Mady.

She approached him for the very first time since they made a rough introduction in the elevator. He was on his guard without a flinch. The mischievous look on her face masked with innocence revealed the devil's plan.

*What could Miss Denim be planning?

He is a very smart young man, at 18 he is such a genius yet he doesn't get to decide his fate. "What do you want him to do to his father and to Evelyn?"
