Episode 16

Dan called Florence that evening and apologized to her

for leaving her at the Hotel, he explained to Florence

what happened but he didn't tell her why his mother did

it.

Jackline was admitted so Dan had to go back to the

hospital to stay with her for the night. He cooked food for the four who were remaining at home and they ate

together with Joel and Tony then they left with Joel to

the hospital.

When they arrived, he told Joel to take Lisa back home.

"Joe, please take Lisa back home then you will come

back with her tomorrow in the morning. I will stay with

Jacky for the night." Dan told his driver.

"No sir, I can't stay at home leaving you here all alone.

That can't and won't happen." Joel replied.

"I am not alone Joel, there are so many patients in this

hospital including Jacky, I can see the pain is reducing, I

am sure we will entertain each other with stories pretty

well, is that right Jacky?" Jackline was now able to talk.

"Absolutely sir, I can't wait to see you sleeping on that

chair," Jackline replied.

"Oh my God, you won't see me closing even an eye.

Lisa, please go back home and come back tomorrow

very early in the morning because I will have to go to

work." Dan said to them.

Joel took Lisa back home then he came back to stay with

Dan in the hospital. Dan was surprised to see him ten

minutes after he had left.

"Joel, what are you still doing here? You mean you have

not taken Lisa home? Where is she?" Dan asked

curiously.

"She is already at home sir, I took her then came back, I

cant stay at home and my boss is staying in hospital sir ."

Joel replied.

"You really didn't have to do that Joel, remember you

will be on the road tomorrow and i don't want an

accident. I can't die at this age,you need to get enough sleep."

"I will be fine sir, I can sleep while driving." Joel

replied.

It was now approaching 9 pm, Dan's phone started

ringing. It was Sarah calling. Dan got out of the room to

speak to her.
