Leaving the Hospital

Hope POV

I felt Dylan's arms around me. I put both hands on his chest and tried to push him away, but despite my anger, the bond made me weak and as much as I didn't want to his smell was intoxicating, Dylan's smell was intoxicating, it was a mix between rum, tangerine leaves and musk in the background. Something elegant and powerful, unlike any other I had ever smelled. But wasn't that by any chance the sense of being Destined? The smell of his partner was heightened and just being near him was able to soothe and heal.

I lifted my head and looked deep into his dark blue eyes and only realized I was holding my breath when I felt his fingers pulling a lock of my hair away and then I shook my head to clear my thoughts.

'No... just no... I need to stay away...'

That thought almost made me groan in pain, but I just pushed my head away and looked at the doctor.

"Am I cleared now?" I tried to keep my voice as professional as possible.

"Yes, I'll have them bring clothes for you to return to the dorms." The doctor replied and I nodded. She approached me and handed over two bottles of medicine. I already knew what it was.

"Thank you." I thanked her and smiled, then looked at Dylan, "You can go."

I saw the pain in his eyes, but he left along with the doctor and I finally breathed a relieved breath, also feeling that ache, but I couldn't stay with him. An Alpha with a wolfless girl, well that wasn't going to happen anytime soon.

It didn't take long before someone came to hand me my clothes, it was a pair of greenish military print pants and a black t-shirt. I went to the bathroom, took a quick shower, looked at my hair which was already discolored and took a deep breath. I needed to find some time to dye it. What most people don't know is that it is naturally white, well not exactly white, more of silver.

"What am I going to do now?"

I whispered to myself. I was already regretting coming here. I could have stayed in my pack, with my title, taking care of my sector... But no, I wanted to be better, I wanted to show up.

"See, that's what happens."

I twisted my mouth and punched the wall beside me, feeling the joints of my fingers hurt and the blood starting to drain slightly. It was nothing too serious, I breathed in frustration, but since I'm here, I'm not giving up. I washed my hand and looked at the alcohol gel that was there, I rubbed it on the injured joints and watched the blood stop flowing.

I came out of the bathroom, looked at that room and took another deep breath. It wouldn't be the last time I would see that place. Of this I was sure, I opened the bedroom door and walked out. Dylan was there, leaning against the wall on the left side, waiting for me. I twisted my mouth, this was going to be very difficult.

"Come on, I'll take you to the dorm."

I heard his voice and just nodded.

"My cell phone? My stuff?" I asked, but I already knew that the major should have been taken from me.

"Here it is." Dylan handed me my cell phone. I turned it on, and it has a battery. "The rest, they confiscated everything that was a weapon."

"My daggers?" Before long I saw several messages popping up on the screen.

"They confiscated them, and said they will return them when necessary."

"They'd better, they were a gift." I started to read the messages and took a deep breath and turned off the screen before I broke the phone, I put it away in my pocket. "Marcus wouldn't like it if they kept them."

I ran my hand through my hair, straightening it to the right side and pulling out a strand that fell over my eyes.

"What's the training?" I asked, not paying much attention to my surroundings, which was a mistake, but if I focused too much, it wouldn't be interesting.

"We wake up at 5 a.m., shower and eat then the first session starts at 6 a.m., it's a solo physical training that goes until 11 am, and from 11 a.m. until 12 a.m. is a duo training. Lunch is from 12:10 p.m. to 1 p.m., and from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. we train the guys who stayed in stage 1, I took over your group along with five of my guys who stayed as well. Then from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m., we have training in wolf form and from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. we study strategy and history.

Every word from Dylan made me happier, this was something I understood, it was something I loved, since I was a child, training, fighting, killing... The smell of the blood of my enemies was something that excited me. It was something that many didn't understand and that I had read about, humans called it sadism, taking pleasure in the pain of others and enjoying causing it. Well, I am sadistic about my enemies. I love to hear their screams of terror and see the fear in their eyes.

"Um... Um... I'm going to love this." I whispered, wondering what techniques I would learn to use, my smile opened sadistically and I cracked my neck, loving that feeling. "I'm going to enjoy that." I heard my laughter echo low and then looked at the people staring at me.

I am in front of a dorm door, there are several beds there, I did a quick count, 15 beds in total, in front of a trunk and on top of the headboard a small bookcase. Then I tilt my head slightly to the left side, looking at the face of one person in particular. Sophia, what was she doing there? Had she not scored the least bit?

'Tsi...' I bit my tongue to keep from finishing my sentence, but I saw her face twisted in fear for a brief moment before she pulled herself together.

'That's it, shake, be afraid and don't forget who is causing you this.'

I thought to myself watching her shift her body weight and started walking towards my bed. It was the only one that was without any details on top or pictures or any personal details. I opened the small cabinet and pulled out the medicine bottles and placed them there.

"Are you okay?"

I heard Dylan's voice behind me and I turned to him, smiling, but with my usual smile.

"Sure, I just need to take my meds on time and everything will be fine," I replied calmly and picked up my cell phone again, sitting on the bed, crossing my legs on top of it, and checking the time, it was 12:30 p.m., that's why there were so many people there in the room.

[Hey, I'm better, I woke up early today, I'm going to the second part of the training.] Me

[YOU! Argh! If I were there, I would kill you myself!] Alpha Julian

[But then I wouldn't be alive.] Me

[At least I wouldn't have tried to kill the First Prince.] Alpha Julian

[Hey! He's the one who tried to kill me first.] Me

[And you... Yeah okay, call me back when you have some time.] Alpha Julian

[All right, I'll have some time tonight, give Luna a kiss for me. :)] Me

I had ignored the other messages. Most of them were cursing me, others were worried, and others thanked me. I wouldn't answer all of them now, but I couldn't leave my Alpha talking alone right?

[Luna, sorry for not answering before. Thanks for your concern, but I'm fine now, I'll go to practice now. I'll call you tonight. Love you guys. :P] I

I didn't wait for my Luna's answer and turned off the cell phone screen, then I got up and went to the trunk, looking at my clothes there and some other things, I opened a small bag and saw several pictures there. I took some of them and put them in front of the closet. They were pictures of my family, Alpha Julian and Luna Mary. That always calmed me down. I then picked up a necklace that was there, since I was without my daggers, at least something of Marcus I would have with me.
