The bright sunlight peeped through the window in the narrow room which was small with a desk and a medium-sized bed,

A pale girl with a white dress was lying down on the bed, emotionlessly staring at the ceiling above.

Ying Lan was sorting out the extra memories in her head. The long memory of a 17-year-old girl, who was also called Ying Lan.

she didn't want to live because she felt her parents liked her younger brother more than her, although that was not the truth.

Her parents worked hard to earn enough to support them.

Her father worked at the construction site; while her mother did odd jobs like dishwashing at the restaurants and cleaning.

So they put their hopes on their two children to study hard, and not become like them.

Ying Lan used to have good grades before she dropped out of school to chase stardom.

She wanted to become a star because she felt she was too beautiful to be something else.

however, reality slapped her on the face when she failed after trying several times for agencies.

Although Ying Lan was really beautiful, her 'know it all' and 'I am beautiful and you should respect me,' attitude reduced the good impression she left on others.

Her parents did try to convince her not to drop out of school and even threatened to sever their relationship, but Ying Lan paid no heed to their words.

It has been two months since she dropped out of school, and all she did this period was a party all the time, and make her parents worry.

Ying Lan has never seen such a stupid person.

The current Ying Lan is from the 22nd century at the end of the world. she was one of few female soldiers because of females being usually healers.

Ying Lan had awakened speed and strength powers at the age of three. She was then trained for eight years and beginning going on missions at eleven years old.

Ying Lan quickly rose her powers at level eight before getting stuck up in the level for almost a year.

She wanted to break through the bottleneck, so she took the mission of killing a nine-level Zombie.

She wasn't confident she would kill it, but she had nothing to worry about, even if she died as life was pointless to her.

Anyway, she experienced the thrills of life.

abilities at the base fear Ying Lan because of her love for violence, and how she likes to solve things with her fist, which is good considering how the end of the world is always survival of the fittest, and where the weak are devoured.

But Ying Lan's love for fighting was excessive!

it started when she was 3 years old and the children at the base who woke their powers would always bully her because of how delicate she looked.

One of the older kids tried to snatch her nutritious solution, that's when she bit his ears off.

The leader of the base who was passing by saw this scene: a little girl who was carved like the doll in the museum with big innocent eyes and chubby cheeks and bloody mouth with a wide grin.

The base leader adopted her and trained her to become the next base leader.

She did not disappoint him, except that she was too emotionless and had no attachment to the world.

Does Ying Lan sometimes think what life would be like if she was born where there were no zombies and no violence?

The zombie less world would be delightful but not the violence one. I mean how can anyone live in a world without violence? that would be too boring...for Ying Lan anyways.

For this reason, she always signs up for dangerous missions to get the thrill of life!

Ying Lan likes the feeling of adrenaline rushing through her veins, as she does something dangerous.
