This book is really interesting. The 40 chapter trial read isn't enough. My first thought after reading the first 20 chapters was that the FL was either a transmigrator or has been reborn. However, bits and pieces of information on the succeeding chapter has shown that she just had a very interesting background which I cannot wait to unfold. I thought at first that the ML was the guy who has a sis complex but he wasn't. The romance part is a little slow however, you would be more interested in a lot of things in the novel as you read through. I can say that, the author is really good at making people guess upon reading her work. I do hope that this will get picked.
When I read the synopsis I thought it was one of many stories of the daughter who returns from the field and the common drama of the false and the real daughter, but I was pleasantly surprised to discover a different and interesting story and also a bit mysterious, since after After reading the first 40 chapters, I am still guessing the identity of both protagonists, it is very interesting, I recommend it 100%.
At chapter 40. It's good! πβΊ Overall it's very refreshing. Their romance is very peaceful and straightforward. The world background is somehow "dramatic" when author makes them "mysterious" while it's also "obvious". Idk if it's my mood but their romance is really relaxed, which is what I liked about this the most so I hope it stays like that. Translation is fine. But sometimes, the repeated explanation and description makes it dull (tiring) to read.
Hope this book gets picked and is updated faster. Itβs such a sweet, slow and mellow romance. FL is a little too Buddist and calm for her to be a normal girl just entering university. To be honest if she hadnt taken the initiative to approach ML then I would have thought her a salted fish who is completely unaffected by her surroundings. At times I did wish that the story would pick up pace, blame my impatience while encountering a mystery. What is FLβs back story? Such staid emotions, calm & excellence isnβt attained without some upheavals and hardwork.
This is a good one π€©π. It may be slow paced but it's because it's actually detailed and has clear descriptions. 40 chapter review and summary with spoilers: First let me give a few pros about this novel: 1) Detailed descriptions. I had to make this one the first one as some people found the novel dragging and boring. It's not. The detail is an advantage and makes the novel better. For a Webnovel it's above average in terms of detail given. Too many novels are rushed through on this platform. 2) Long chapters. This is linked to the detailed descriptions but each chapter is nice and long. So compared to other novels, reading this 40 chapter trial felt more like 60 chapters- I'm not complaining about that π. 3) Mostly mature characters. This means you're not bombarded with constant idiotic peanut gallery as an audience who judge and shame the FL π. Cons: There are a few grammatical errors and typos π’. Not too many but it's confusing when it happens. The story: Initially, I thought the FL was reborn because her temperament and character is very mature. Her personilty also seems like she's from a different era. After reading it, you find out that's not the case. The FL really is likeable though- she has a Buddhist- ike calm temperament. Nothing phases her until she meets the ML. The ML and FL only meet in chapter 13. They have a very low-key but beautiful romance. Both leads have lots of secrets and mystery attached to their past that has not been explained yet. I like it because they are both similar in many ways but also different. They really have a sweet, mature chemistry. The author did well with this one and I hope to see more of itβ₯οΈ. Their love feels like a quiet, rainy day on a Sunday afternoon. It just makes you feel at peace reading about them, while also giving you romantic feelsπ.
