1 Chapter One: The Past

Amanda was a young girl, about 5 years old. Her and her sister, Jasmine, were very close when they were younger. They did everything together. You name it and they did it. Those two were inseparable. At school, Jasmine would protect her younger sister, Amanda. You could say that Amanda depended on Jasmine a lot in elementary school and half of middle school. The cases were..something.

"Amanda! Jasmine! Time for school!" Their mother yelled loud and proud. It was the first day of school for 6th grade. They had finally left elementary school and are starting middle school. Jasmine was excited, but Amanda was not. "Are you girls ready for your first day at middle school?" Jasmine smiled and nodded. "Heck yeah I am!" She jumped for joy. Amanda on the other hand, was looking down, playing with her fingers. Her mother noticed and kneeled down. "What's wrong Amanda panda? Why you look so sad?" Amanda looked up at her mother. "I-I don't want to go to middle school...what if something happens?" Amanda wasn't the social type at all. Kids would bully her and call her names because she was socially awkward. Jasmine on the other hand, was more of the popular type. Everyone loved her.

Jasmine placed her hand on Amanda's shoulder. "Hey, it's alright sis. You know I got your back no matter what. Plus, you might make some friends as and having friends by your side is like the best thing ever." Amanda nodded and smiled softly. "I guess your right Jasmine." She smiled at Amanda. "Come on let's go to the car. Mom is waiting for us." Amanda nodded and held Jasmine's hand as they walked to the car, hopped in, their mother pulling out of the driveway and heading to their school. The drive was quite short since the school wasn't that far from their house. They're mother pulls up to the side of the school by the front doors. "Alright girls, have fun on your first day!" She smiled as Amanda and Jasmine exited the car and closed the door. They waved as their mother pulled off. Jasmine grabbed Amanda's hand and smiled. "Come on sis, let's go." With that they walked into the school and towards to courtyard.
