"I was in a hurry and must have left it out probably. It wasn't intentional. I'll make a new one for you if clothes are this important to you." He said equally annoyed.

Instantly, her stiffness disappeared. "Oh, I probably threw them in some darkish corner, then. I didn't know we had to move elsewhere, thank you for taking care of me." she replied, a soft smile forming on her lips.

In this turn of events, he suddenly became nervous. What is this? There was no argument. No further blaming. To his surprise, she even thanked him despite the fact that he had forgotten to pack something that belonged to her.

However, she quickly shifted her attention to their map, full of hopes to find some clues about their current location.

His nervousness slowly wrapped its claws around his throat. How could he dare to ask for such a thing again? 'Anna, I have a fucking dagger stuck in the middle of my back. I need your help.' 

It seemed to be so easy, yet he was reserved to look weak in her eyes.

"Would you mind carrying our things? I'll wrap this cloth around myself, there is a village called Misha nearby, we should be able to buy new clothes." Anna smiled and pointed across the fields.

"Sure." He murmured and tossed the backpack on his right shoulder again, to be able to carry his battle axe in his hand ready to be used. And also, to hide the knife handle from her sight, in case she would want to walk beside him.

She wrapped the soft blanket around her shoulders, and brought the edges up to her chin.

Bugak followed her like a shadow, not even once taking his eyes from her.

The surrounding area was filled with numerous players, almost overwhelming in their numbers. However, she noticed that they appeared to be anxious and wary, as they dodged them on their own quite well.

"70 gold pieces for permission to enter this town!" As the unusual couple approached the gate's door, one of the individuals between the gate's doors called out in a monotone voice, clearly displaying their boredom.

Anna got nervous. They don't have that much. With this naive thought in her head, she stepped closer to the group of men.

"I'm sorry, I have barely a quarter of the requested amount. Would you let me in if I would pay you the rest after I sell some of my goods?"

They looked at her amused, but before anyone could speak up, their leader stepped forward and quickly reached his hand to her, trying to grab the blanket. She jumped back as fast as she could, getting away from their reach with a frightened look on her face.

With determination settling in, he straightened his posture and gave her a confirming nod. The gesture was followed by a beckoning wave, attempting to lure her back. His intent was clear as day. "Pay with your body and you can go in. Both you and that green mule carrying your shit."

"They won't let us in," she whispered, all nervous, with anxiety written all over her face. "They are saying that we need to pay them 70 golden coins if we want to get inside." Anna looked up to Bugak. He gave her a short nod, put the backpack down, and leaned his battle axe on it. He was not blind.

That guy deserves full payment for making moves on her.
