Let's get married

After saying that, Xavier disappeared again. Why did he always disappear after dropping a bombshell on her?

A slow bright smile appeared on Aurora's face and her heart soared with happiness at the thought of marrying Xavier. Could this be real? He wanted to marry her?

Did that mean he had some sort of feelings for her or was it just pity? Marriage wasn't something to play about with, he won't suggest that If he just felt pity, right?

That didn't concern her though, she would finally get to marry the man she loved and even if he didn't love her and love her in the future, she would treasure him with all her heart and shower him with so much love that he was bound to fall in love with her.

She grinned to herself then suddenly frowned. How was she going to get out of here? There was no way she could just walk past the guards!

As if the moon goddess had been listening, Veronica suddenly walked into her room with an angered look on her face.

"I'm so mad right now" Veronica muttered and Aurora sighed as she stood up from the bed.

"I'm not in the mood today, Veronica" She murmured with her arms folded and Veronica sighed.

"I'm not here because I'm angry at you, I'm here because I'm angry at our parents. This is supposed to be my wedding day!" Aurora furrowed her eyebrows.

"I'm not sure I understand," Veronica groaned.

"I was the one who saw Sebastian first, I wanted to marry him. I told our parents about him and I just turned my back a little and he's getting married to you" Aurora frowned at her words. That didn't sound like something their parents would do.

"Now you understand why I can never stand you. Mom and dad treat you like an egg, everything I've ever wanted, you get it or you get something even better. 'Aurora is so soft, Aurora is so weak' And so what? Do they think I'm not weak too? I overlooked every other thing but I'm not going to stand for this. I like Sebastian, he has been the one I loved right from the start and I won't let you marry him" For the first time in her life, Aurora understood her sister's anger towards her and their parents.

Now she understood why Veronica was so against her.

"I had no clue Veronica," Veronica nodded.

"I know that because I know you're in love with that demigod guy. What can we do? I can't let you marry Sebastian" Veronica muttered and Aurora grinned.

"If you find a way to let me get to Xavier, I won't have to marry Sebastian anymore. Father placed guards in front of my room door and below my window. There's no way I can get out on my own" Veronica grinned then outstretched her hand.

"Come with me and just follow my lead" Aurora was skeptical at first but anything was better than nothing.

She placed her hand on Veronica's and together, they walked out of the room.

"The Alpha said she wasn't allowed out of the room unless he came to get her himself" One of the guards immediately said as they stepped out.

"I'm her sister, I'm just going to teach her a few things about her wedding night or do you want us talking about that in front of you?" The guards immediately turned red and Aurora wondered why, what did Veronica say?

"But Miss…"

"She'll just be in my room, okay? She is nervous and needs someone to talk to now. My father is just being paranoid. She'll be back in her room before my father shows up so just stay here so It won't seem like she left, okay?" Veronica uttered and without waiting for what they had to say, she dragged Aurora away from them.

As soon as they were far enough from the guards, they glanced around for any hidden guards before running towards the back door because the front one was being guarded.

"You are on your own Kid. I feel like I should ask you why you're going to see Xavier but I really don't care" Veronica mumbled before walking away, making Aurora roll her eyes but for some reason, Aurora felt like their relationship had improved.

Aurora took a deep breath before running towards the forest. Since the pack was bustling with everyone trying to arrange everything for the marriage, it was kind of hard to dodge them especially since she was the only one wearing such a bright color at night but surprisingly, she was able to get past all of them.

She was just glad she didn't bump into her parents. If not, then she would have no other choice but to marry Sebastian.

Aurora stood in front of the cave with her heart racing. She was surprised her parents hadn't placed a guard in front of the cave. Maybe they were so sure she wouldn't be able to escape.

Unknowingly to Aurora, they were Unconscious guards behind the cave which Leo had knocked out earlier.

Aurora took a deep breath before she walked into the cave. There was something different about it today but she couldn't place her hand on what.

As soon as she pushed the door open, she froze at the sight in front of her.

She had seen Xavier in a suit before but this time, he was wearing black pants and just a jacket, showing off his nice toned abs.

Karla tried her best not to drool but goddess, he looked so good.

"It was a hassle trying to get the stake through the shirt so I just wore the jacket instead" He mumbled and she grinned before slowly walking up to him.

"You made an effort and that's enough for me. Plus, you look great" His eyes suddenly trailed down my body like it was the first time he was seeing me.

"You are ethereal" He mumbled and I literally choked on my spit. I didn't expect him to compliment me that way.

"Very classy. Let's get this over with already" Leo mumbled dryly then rolled his eyes. It was only then that Aurora noticed that they weren't alone. She knew her face was as red as a tomato because of how hard she was blushing.

Xavier suddenly took her hand and she gasped when he pulled her closer. She stared into his silver eyes and was lost in them for a second till he spoke again.

"Let's get married, Little wolf"...
