35 I won't marry him!

Aurora's head was starting to ache after listening to Sebastian brag about how many mansion he owned and how many journeys he had gone on. She just wanted to be with Xavier, why did this have to happen?

"You know, a lot of girls would die to be in your position right now, to be this close to me but you don't seem interested" Sebastian suddenly said, bringing her out of her thoughts.

She immediately bowed her head at him. Even though she wasn't going to agree to this so-called marriage, she wasn't going to cause a feud between both packs by being a jerk to the next Alpha.

"I'm sorry if I'm being rude, I just have a lot of things on my mind" She murmured and gasped slightly when he suddenly grabbed her hand and moved closer to her.

"You know, when I was told I was to marry you, I remember wanting to marry your sister instead because I heard she was the beautiful sister but looking at you now, they were wrong and you would look good beside me because you don't look like the other women. Many men are going to envy me and you shall be above all other women in my pack" He murmured and Aurora tried her best not to scoff. So he only saw her as a trophy? Typical men's behavior.

After a very long boring conversation, the Addams finally decided to leave with the promise they would be coming back tomorrow. Aurora tried her best not to grimace as Sebastian placed a kiss on her cheek but as soon as they were gone, she turned to her parents with a frown on her face.

"I don't understand what's going on but I'm not getting married to him" Nikolas sighed.

"It has already been concluded and you're going to get married to him tomorrow" She gasped with her eyes and her mouth agape.

"Tomorrow? That's not fair!" She whined.

"We are just looking out for you, Aurora. Sebastian is a nice guy and so is his family. We will come visit you every weekend and they have agreed to take good care of you" She frowned.

"But what about my happiness? Doesn't that matter to you guys anymore?" Her voice broke as she spoke. She couldn't understand why her parents had to do this.

"We care for your happiness and that's why we are doing this,my love. With Sebastian, you can realistically fall in love" She shook her head.

"I'll never love him because I'm already in love with someone else"

"Bullshit, Aurora! Kill that love you have for that demigod because as long as I'm alive, nothing is going to happen between the both of you. He's not right for you!" He screamed and her mother tried calming him down but Nikolas was angry at the fact that his daughter wasn't seeing reason. Can't she see that they were just trying to help her?

"I'm not getting married to Sebastian" She muttered and Nikolas frowned.

"You don't have a choice. The wedding is tomorrow so go to bed so you can be ready for the preparations tomorrow" Tears rolled down her cheeks as she stared at her parents. Her mother had a guilty look but she didn't say anything to help her.

Aurora stomped her feet then turned around and was about to run out of the house when Nikolas stopped her.

"You are forbidden from seeing that Demigod and if you double cross me this time, I'll make sure he suffers for it and I won't care that he's connected to you" She turned to her father with wide eyes.

"But Father…"

"Not another word. Go up to your room, now" She bit her lower lips as the tears rolled down her cheeks.

"I hate you both and I wish you'd just left me to die if this is how you want to ruin my life!" She screamed then ran up to her room despite her parents calling her name.

An anger she had never felt before surged through her and she wanted to scream!

She ran into her room, closing the door behind her then she plopped on the bed and screamed into the pillow. She couldn't stand this, she couldn't stand marrying someone she did not love.

She suddenly raised her head when she heard the buzzing of a bee. She turned to the sound and sure enough, it was a bee.

"Paxton?" Immediately, the bee turned into Paxton and she tried her best not to let out a scream.

"Damn, I've been trying to get to you but for some reason, you have been busy. Xavier asked me to check up on you" He muttered and her eyes widened.

"Oh… I don't want to see him right now" Paxton gasped dramatically.

"What? Did I hear you right, little wolf?" She bit her lower lip then let out a sigh. She didn't want Xavier seeing her like and how was supposed to explain to him that she's getting married to someone she barely knew because her parents didn't want her to be in love with him?

"You don't need to explain, I can hear your thoughts" She gasped as soon as she heard his voice in her head.

"Xavier?" Paxton raised an eyebrow then shrugged before keeping himself busy by glancing around Aurora's huge room.

"Hey little wolf" Her heart raced at hearing his voice but it wasn't the same as hearing his voice in person.

"You… you heard everything I was thinking about?" She stuttered as her cheeks immediately turned red.

"Do you want me to come over?" He questioned and she bit her lower lip.

"I don't think it's the best decision to…"

"Do you want me to come over?" He questioned and this time, she found herself nodding.

"Yes, please come" And in an instant, he was standing in front of her and the minute she inhaled his scent, the tears began rolling down her cheeks and she wasn't able to stop it.

Xavier pulled her gently into a hug and she immediately wrapped her arms tightly around him.

"I don't want to get married to him, I can't get married to him" She murmured into his chest and he turned to Paxton with a glare.

"Leave" He mouthed and Paxton raised his hand in mock surrender before turning into a bee and flying away.

"Is there not something you can do? I can't marry him. I want to leave here, take me away from here" She uttered as she glanced up at him.

Xavier glanced down at her then placed his hand on her cheek and found herself rubbing her cheek against his palm. She was glad Xavier didn't seem to mind.

"You don't want to get married to him?" She nodded without hesitation.

"I don't love him and I refuse to marry someone I don't love" She murmured then sniffled.

"Then marry me instead"...
