My Baby Is The Next Target

Aurora woke up to someone knocking on the door. She groans and stretches her arms out

"Gosh, wake up, Rora!!!" Jake yells. The nicknames he starts calling her.

"What do you want!?" She yells back.

"Oh, I don't know maybe to WAKE YOUR ASS UP FOR SCHOOL!!!" He yells again.

"Can you stop yelling? It's annoying." Alex's voice is heard, probably walking passing him.

She gets up and ruffles her hair. She forgot she has school today and she has to go. The door slams open revealing Jake glaring at her. " Or you want me to call Aiden?"

"Fine. Geez." She ruffles her hair. "Wait. Where is Aiden?"

"In his room. You got an hour to get ready." Jake said as he went out.

Aurora stretches her arms and gets off the bed. She grabs her towel but before that, she went to Aiden's room. Well, as she said. She gave him a chance. She takes a deep breath and lets it out.

"Aiden?" Aurora opens the door and saw he still sleeping.

'Can't believe he still sleeping.'

"Aiden, wake up. Are you going to send me to school or Jake will?" She asks as she opens the curtains.

"Ughhh, it's still early, right?" He groaned and close his face with his arms. "I can't trust Jake to bring the car while I'm not with you."

"Why not? Jake did send me to your company before, remember?" She frowns.

"Still, I send you." He sighs.

"Then, get up."

Aiden didn't respond but instead, he make fake snores. She rolls her eyes. Then, Aurora throws away her towel and was ready to jump on the bed.

"Canon ball!!!!" She landed right on his stomach causing him to groan.

"Seriously!? What did you eat!? You are heavy!!" He groaned in pain.

She gasp, "How could you!!!??" Aurora slaps his chest only receiving laughter from him. But, his words stuck inside her mind."Talking about girls' weight is forbidden!!"

Heavy?

What did she eat?

In another word, she is fat...right?

Aurora touches her belly, "I think...I am gaining weight." She muttered to herself not knowing Aiden staring at her.

"If you think you are going starve yourself then better take that thought out of your head. Before I did it for you." His threat didn't make Aurora scared because she know what he mean.

"I'm just joking with you. You are perfect. Even if you are gaining weight, it didn't change who you are. And I'm sorry if my joke is crossing the line." Aiden sighs and caresses her cheeks with the back of his hand.

She stares into his eyes and she can see the sorry and worried. "It's fine. Maybe I'm too...sensitive. Well, it's fine."

"Promise me you will not starve yourself." He said. Aurora smiles and nods.

"Now, young lady. Get up so that I can send you to school." He chuckled. Having her on top of him makes his morning excited but the fact she sits on top of his bulge is also a bad thing to start with.

Aurora gets up grabbed her towel and went out. Leaving the horny guy behind innocently.

She finishes her shower, wearing a purple baggy hoodie with short pants inside. She tied her head into a ponytail.

"Where's my bag?" She looks around and saw it beside her desk.

The girl pulls her bag but something falls from it. The same pen drive she had. "Oh yeah, I forgot about this. I should check this first."

Aurora looks at the clock and she still has some time to spend. She turns on her computer and plugs the pen drive-in. There was a lot on it until a lot of files came out.

"I know I shouldn't mind people's business but...this is interesting." She mumbles.

Nothing is interesting in the file. Some of it is just paperwork and paperwork. An agreement she doesn't understand.

After a few minutes, she found something to catch her attention. She clicks on it and there's a contract with a named, Edward Stuart.

Edward Stuart?

She read the contract and it was all about the promise and handing over the power.

"Rora!! Breakfast is ready!!" Jake knock on her door before walking away.

"Coming!!!" She pulls out the pen drive. Stare on it, what should she do with it?

Aiden and the others waiting in the kitchen, eating breakfast. After a few minutes like that, she walks in.

"There you are. What took you long? Makeup?" Jake mockingly asks.

"Haha. Funny." She rolls her eyes.

"Ignore him. Here's your breakfast." Alex puts down her plate and back to his place.

She quickly eats it. But her mind wanders to the pen drive. Edward Stuart? Who is that? Since it is not her business, she shouldn't care about it.

'I should give that thing back to the owner.' Aurora thought.

"Mine is much better." Jake spokes, lifting his shirt to show his abs.

"Yeah right. I can't see anything but belly fat." Alex scoffs. His friend jaw-dropping, couldn't accept the statements.

"Dude. I build my body for years. You better take that back!!" He smacks Alex's arms.

Alex rolls his eyes. "Without Aiden's strictness, you wouldn't have that body. You will be lazy around and eat unhealthy food."

Aiden chuckles. He was right though. "Aiden!! Don't laugh!! Okay fine. But can't you guys say praise me or something?" Jake whines.

"Whatever, Jake. We did it together. Better?" Aiden arches his eyebrows.

"Better." He grins.

Aurora finishes her food and gulps some water before starts speaking. "Um...guys. Can I ask you something?" She fiddled with her spoon.

"What is it, love?" Aiden turns to her, giving her full attention.

"I need your help. I found something that was not mine. So, I need your help to find the owner." She explains, that while opening her backpack to find something.

"Don't tell us you have been stealing..." Jake smirks as he munches his food.

"No!! I didn't! There are these few suit guys and they seem like arguing and finding someone. But then I saw something fall. So pick it up until now I kept it." Aurora pulls out the pen drive showing it to them.

Aiden grabs it, "Have you seen their face? Like...how suspicious are they?" He asks.

"Not really. Why do you ask that kind of question?" She frowns.

"Just asking. Jake, check this pen drive. Maybe we can find who's the owner of it." Aiden throws it to him. "Aurora, let's go. You will be going to be late." He grabs her bag.

"Hey!! Wait for me!!!" Aurora takes one more bite of her food before catching after him.

As they walk towards the front door, the door explodes. Aiden brings his girl to his arms, being her shelter. Jake and Alex rush outside from the kitchen, seeing smoke from everyone covering their sight.

"Aiden!! AMBUSH!!" Alex yells.

There are some men who walk in with their guns. Aiden pushes the girl behind her as Jake and Alex stand beside their leader.

"Oh well. We're sorry about your door."
