Jeremy walked to Conrad's riverside house since going back to his car at the packhouse may look like he was following Diddy Franklin. Which would be weird in a very awkward way.

He needed to see his friend.

So, now as he walked he practiced how he would have a conversation with his meddling friend without trying to take his head for what he did.

He was almost close to Conrad's door when the door opened and he almost bumped into Connie. She had tears in her eyes.

He stopped and looked at her. This was awkward. He hated seeing girls cry. It made him uncomfortable.

"Oh, it's you. I thought it was Conrad. What are you doing here?" Connie said hands akimbo.

"Looking for your brother. Are you alright?" Jeremy asked her.

"I am perfect. Now, go away" Connie almost slammed the door but Jeremy's boot stopped it.

"What are you doing?" Connie asked him as she looked at him curiously.
