Chapter fifteen

RAMSON POV

My right hand was wrapped around her waist, and the left on her right hand. Her left hand was on my shoulders too.

Her face was away from mine. I know she hates me so much.

"We are dancing,your eyes and concentration should be on me." I said smiling as I kept staring at her.

"I told you I know nothing about dancing." She replied.

"And now I am teaching you what to do, so do it." I said rolling her and then grabbing her again.

"Just to look at you, nothing more?" She asked looking at me.

"Do you want more?" I asked.

"Don't flatter yourself, I hate you and your tactics." She said frowning as she stared at me too.

"Now I love this." I said and she kept mute as we kept moving slowly to the solemn music.

"When is this dance ending?" She asked but I ignored her question.

"You mentioned the orphanage home, why have you been there your whole life?" I asked.

"I asked a question and you replied with another question." She said.

"I would advise you to answer mine first. Why were you there your whole life?" I asked.

"Because I lost my parents. Is that not why anyone would be in an orphanage home?" She asked and I kept mute for some seconds.

"So, I helped you by bringing you to a better world." I said grinning.

"This world is hell. I regret ever leaving the orphanage home. At least, it is full of loving people not sadists." She said releasing herself from me and rolling making me catch her in my arms again.

"I thought you don't dance." I said feeling a little impressed.

"I am a fast learner." She said smiling fakely.

"I know you hate me. Of course everyone hates me, but can't you just smile real?" I asked knowing I was just causing more troubles.

"I can never smile real where you are." She said getting away from me and moving to the next dancer.

Another lady fell into my hands and we started dancing. But all this while my eyes were on Beyonce and the guy she was with.

She looked kinda shocked seeing him. Who the hell is he?

"Hey don't you think it's unfair looking at another lady when one is in front of you?" The lady I was dancing with asked and I looked at her.

For the first time, I noticed how she looked. She was beautiful but nothing compared to Beyonce.

"My bad." I said trying to act cool. Many people are everywhere.

"I am Annie." She said smiling.

"I haven't seen you here before." I replied looking at Beyonce and the stranger again.

"This is my first time here. You have a very nice place." She said and all I did was smile.

"Thank you." I replied making her roll and holding her again, and she almost missed her step due to the fact that I was staring at Beyonce and the new guy. I wanted to know who he was.

"Why aren't you concentrating? Who is she to you?" She asked and I got pissed.

"That is none of your business." I said leaving her and walking away. I knew going to her would make it look like I am jealous, and I am not.

I need to know everyone at my party.

RAPHAEL POV

I took her in my hands and I saw shock and surprise written all over her face.

"Raph?" She called and I nodded Smiling widely.

"How are you bee? Are you okay? Did he hurt you?" I asked sadly.

"It's okay Raph. I am so happy to see you, what are you doing here?" She asked happily.

"I am here to save you." I said smiling.

"What?" She asked.

"I heard you were kidnapped by Ramson from that lady." I said pointing to Annie, who I expected to keep Ramson with her.

"Hold on. Ramson was here now. Where did he go?" She asked and I sighed.

"Annie didn't do her part well. I wanted her to keep him busy till I get you out of here." I said looking around.

"He is suspecting the both of you. We should leave now." Annie whispered walking to the door.

"Let's go Beyonce." I said holding her hand and pulling her out very fast.

"Wait Raph." She said but I didn't listen. Wasting more time will cause more problem.

"Wait!" She yelled as soon as we got outside, getting her hands away from mine.

"Bee what's going on? We need to leave now." I said looking around.

"I can't Raph.i am sorry." She said.

"What? Are you insane? After he has used you? You want to stay?" Annie asked and I held her to calm her down.

"Beyonce I came here because of you. And I need to go back with you. I risked it coming here. Please let's go." I said calmly trying to hold her hand but she moved away.

"If I leave, my friend Mary dies, and then he catches up with us and we all die. I don't want that for any of us. I'm sorry for turning you down, but I can't risk these lives because of my own freedom. Leave Raph." She said and I felt so hurt.

"Are you thinking at all? This guy won't stop hurting you!" Annie said.

"I know, but if that is what I will do to keep you safe, then so be it. I will be fine Raph. Please leave before you two get yourself killed." She said looking back.

"So you really want to stay? And become his sex machine?" I asked.

"Yes. Now leave." She said turning back to see Ramson at the back. He stood with his hands in his pockets. Bastard.

"What's going on here?" He asked looking at me.

"Nothing. They were just leaving." Bee said.

"No we weren't." I said angrily.

"Yes we were. I am so sorry for the inconvenience." Annie said holding my hand and smiling.

"Let's go." She whispered into my ear as I stared at Ramson angrily.

"Please leave." Bee added again.

"You heard the lady. Leave or I will make you leave." He said and Annie held my hand dragging me away.

"Annie why did you give up so fast? We were close to getting her." I said holding my hair as we stepped out of the gate.

"No we were not. She made her choice. She was right, once Ramson catches up with us we are dead." She said.

"We can't just give up. I am not scared of him Annie." I said.

"I know, and we are not going up. We are going for plan B. Now we know before we can get Beyonce back, Ramson will be out of the picture." She said and I nodded knowing exactly what she meant.

BEYONCE POV

As soon as they left and I turned to go back into the house, Ramson held me back.

"Who was that?" He asked.

"No one." I replied.

"The look on your face when you first saw him didn't say he is no one." He said and I signed.

"Don't do anything mean again. He is not here to cause any troubles. As you saw, I chased him out myself." I said releasing my hand and running inside.

Tears rolled down my eyes as I ran. I just chased away my best friend and the help he rendered. I am sorry Raph, but this is the best way to show I still care about you.

I ran down the hallway again and I was almost at my room door, when I hit someone again. A cup of drink fell to the ground crashing loudly.

"Oh I am so sorry." I said looking up to see Damon again.

"Why is it that, anytime you are crying and having issues with my brother, my drink ends of taking the punishment." He said Smiling.

"I am sorry. I will be careful next time." I said cleaning my eyes and walking away when he held me back.

"Why are you crying again? What did he do this time?" He asked and I shook my head.

"He did nothing. Thanks." I said looking away.

"Well I know my brother well. He always does something, but if you don't want to talk about it. It's fine." He said and I smiled faintly.

"Okay." I said.

"But you have to make up for the two drinks I have lost this night because of you." He said and I sighed.

"I know, but I don't have anything to give you." I said sadly.

"Of course you do. Follow me." He said and I furrowed my brows as he walked away.
