After Lucas and I parted ways, my sister Seline and I brought Alice by her hands to her room. Since the moment Lucas had acted 'the proposal' in front of the whole sect, Alice had been in a daze. This innocent big sis had clearly gotten her heart stolen for the first time and was very confused.

"Well, he said that he would always be mine. Why won't I be happy if my brother said he always wanted to stay with me."

"Yes, yes. Even I would be happy if sister is always with Seline."

My dumb sister interjected at a crucial moment and unintentionally gave Alice a way out. But I would not let things go awry this time.

"Indeed, I would also be happy to be always with Seline. But that is not what we are talking about right now. Alice, let me ask a few questions, and you answer them honestly. Got it?"

"Yes. Ask away."

"Is your brother cute or handsome now?"

Alice tilted her head cutely and answered after pondering for a while.

"He is both cute and handsome."

Getting the expected answer, I nodded in satisfaction and asked again.

Thinking for a very little time, she answered. Getting a satisfactory answer, my smile got broader, and I dropped the bomb at last.

"Then, when he proposed to you, saying that you are his woman and he would be yours forever, how did you feel? Did your heart skip a beat? It started beating faster?"

Hearing my question, she blushed immediately and said in a whimpering voice.

"I felt happy, and I felt my heartbeat quicken."

I shouted the last statement. I had noticed how touchy-feely these siblings were and the look of infatuation in Alice's face. When asked about this, she used to say that they were always this close and it was normal for them. But she never had completely fallen for him. And now she is hooked.

But all my excitement died down with Alice's words, which were spoken with an innocent smile.

"Yes, I love my brother. I always want to spend time playing and hanging out with him. I have known it for a long time. Then why are you so excited? Do you also love my brother?"

When the girls were having their girls talk, a sinister plan was being brewed by the vilified one, Callum. After losing to Lucas, nobody took a second glance at Callum. All their attention was on the proposal of the 'hero' to his 'beauty'. And Callum was forgotten without a single thought about him.

Although Lucas used some sly trick to win the duel, he didn't cheat and won fair and square. But Callum's hatred for Lucas had crossed the limit. 

First, this newbie scammed him out of nearly his whole saving of origin stones. Then, he defeated him in front of the entire sect. And last but not least, he proposed to HIS Alice in front of him! And that bitch didn't protest and just meekly nodded with a blushing face!
