Let me introduce you to our lovely neighbours Veronica and Kevin who we call Vi and Kev with love
Kev is a tall and good looking guy who works in a bar
Vi is a good looking black woman who told me she worked as nurse before now does some jobs with Fi
Why i am introducing them to you ?

As I woke up
I saw Veronica putting a bandage on my hand and I realised I was only seeing with my one eye
"Oh good you are awake
It ain't even that bad once one of my previous boyfriend got beat up by ten dudes he got both his leg and one his arms broken ' now he is in a wheelchair with only one arm and also has erectile dysfunction "
All I thought ' why is she talking so much '
Now that you are awake let me tell you it will cost your ass 800$ for all the meds and the bandages
For a guy who got beat up by 3 guys you are not that bad
Your nose was broken and multiple bruises
All over your body . Some sprains ,strains and minor cuts and only one fracture in hand. It's not bad at all you only broke 1 bone by some miracle
Huh by the list it seems quite manageable
"Where's Fi " was the only thing I said to her since waking up
Doing a job to afford some of the meds you need
Damn man I felt really bad although I had been a earning decent money from my part time job but I was recently fired from the job.
Instead of helping the family i was being a burden and costing the family a lot of money for my meds
All of a sudden i felt really sleepy and went back to sleep

I slowly opened my eyes to see Vi looking at me worried

After i answered her told her what happened she was now a little little angry
"You picked a fight over Frank "
"No i picked up a fight over him punching me first "
"Still you could have avoided the whole shitshow by just leaving you know his dad is a local dealer "

"Fine but you gotta makeup for how much you hurt everybody "

"These are your two meds one is a painkiller and the other is for inflammation "
"You may have not realised it but it's morning now and I have to get to work "

After she saw no reaction she left for her morning job which was probably working a shift on crime scene cleaning
Disgusting but with decent pay
As she left i was curious to see my system tab so i mentally activated the system tab toggle

Huh seem I got something from the fight
I got some new skills - Brawl,Dodge, Tactics and pattern recognition
Ii had also gained levels in Acrobatics, Balance,Reflex
Brawl seems like I got this skill from straight up fighting with no proper fighting skills
Dodge seems to be the skill I got in the middle of the fight that helped me a lot
Tactics and Pattern recognition I had no idea how I had gained them maybe I got them because of the fight or they had been on my system tab because of any other trigger
I went to the kitchen to see Frank sleeping besides the table smelling like dead fish
I went to see Carl , he was sitting in front of the tv watching a crime documentary.
I thought what was wrong with the kid .
This time i tried to teach him basic English and maths only to realise that he almost knew nothing that kids his age should know very well and this was problematic.
I spent the entire day teaching him stuff that kids his age should already know
I made a promise to myself that I will teach Carl well and not let him fail any subject in all of his school years[ Author's remark : Unlikely]
