Prologue

58 years ago:

In the development of space colony ARK, the lead scientist Prof. Gerald Robotnik, was thinking up what should the first experiment be.

USL, was the first alien that Gerald ever trusted for one reason. The ARK was designed by USL, and his people.

"USL what is the Eclipse Cannon for?

"It's for destroying any threat to your people, and I'll need it for something later." I look at the system that holds the ARK in position. "Everything looks good to put it into orbit. I just need some more power to get it up there."

Gerald reaches into his pocket, and says as he handed me a Chaos Emerald. "Will this work?"

"It's perfect for this, when did you find it?"

"I've had it since we first met you, for some reason I nearly fell because of it."

"Well let me deal with the power, and the responsibility of holding it until we get into space. Then I'll return it to you." I insert the Emerald into the extra energy chamber, so that it doesn't overload the system.

I get into my ship and haul the ARK into space. It took them a whole month to set up the labs in the ARK. Even with my help.

When it was all finished I was tired. "Gerald when are we going to begin with the science, I have other plans for me to do today." I tap my foot impatient as ever.

"Chill out we are almost ready to go." Gerald talks with his colleagues. He turns to me and says, "We're ready for the first experiment."

"Finally now we work on The prototype of the ultimate life form. We shall call this Project Shadow."

8 years later the military lands on the colony and shuts down the project. Maria released the The Ultimate Life Form. She was killed later that day. Gerald Robotnik was in despair since he lost his granddaughter. He went insane. I was on my planet for the last 2 years and I just returned from home to see if the project was doing well. I found out that the ARK was shut down, and all of the scientists were in jail. I was excluded because I am not from the same planet as the scientists so I wasn't jailed. I went to visit Gerald but I found out that he was going to wreak revenge on everyone because of Maria's death. So I hid the ARK hoping no one else would find it. I later told the government that I did so that nothing was going to happen to anyone. They agreed that it was the right thing to do. So I told them that I would become the only guard on the ARK since I never die and they said that I should do that. So I've been here for 50 years waiting for someone to enter.

Down on Earth I was being interviewed by a reporter and I told her my story.

3 months later that year I was arrested for telling the story about the ARK. So was the reporter. I went on trial and they said they can't convict a being that has been guarding the ARK for the last 50 years so I was let free. Unfortunately for the reporter she was charged with treason.

Later that year Sonic and his friends and Dr. Eggman were transported into this world by Chaos Control. They gathered the Emeralds twice now. The first time a piece of their world was brought to Earth. The second time they were used to defeat Chaos. Now they are being looked for again. Dr. Eggman woke up someone from my past. Now begins Eggman's plot to achieve world domination again.
