Episode 10- Tubeless

The lights around were even prettier than before. It was like I was sliding down a colorful slide. I let go of Cole's hand. We both were to amazed by the colors that we didn't notice each other. We were getting closer to the exit. I could tell because the colors were fading. Finally coming to the end we fall onto a large soft bed. I tried to get up but the bed was too fluffy. I suddenly, feel someone pull on my arm. I look up to see who the person was and I see a very young boy. He had shaggy black hair and grey eyes.

He smiled. "It's good to see you again!" he hugged me tight.

'Who was this person?'

Cole got off the bed and saw what was happening. He pulled us apart. He stared at the boy.

The boy looked at Cole with angrier. He than looked back at me and smiled. "I'm sorry, but I should have introduced myself." He cleared his throat.

Me and Cole look at one another.

"Well, names Daniel and well guess you won't remember me but.." He takes a deep breath. "I'm-"

Max put his arm around him. "Now now. Lets not tell too much just yet!"

They both nod.

"Well lets show you guys your parents!" Max says as he grabs me and Cole's hands.

We walk down a long hallway. I notice Morgan, Katy and Brandon walking beside Max. I see his face tense. I was worried about him more than I was about me. "Cole?" I say in a low voice.

He turns to me.

"Are you going to be alright?" I say a little nervous.

He looks at the ground for a moment before looking back at me. "I'll be fine." He fake smiled at me.

I look at the ground. 'I hope he'll be okay.'

We come to another room. It was very bright.

I look around and see a huge crowd of people. In the back wall had three huge TVs.

"Wow. This place is epic." Brandon says looking around.

Max stopped.

I look at him. I also see a very tall man standing behind him.

"Sir, I am back with the kids" Max says to the tall man.

The tall man had a eye patch on his left eye. He looked angry. "Well done." He had a very deep voice. "You maybe thinking"What the hell is going on?" or "What do these people want?" Well.." He takes a deep breath. "We want your help fighting these shadows."

"Your pet told us." Morgan crosses her arms.

The man looks at her. He then looks down at Max. "You told them?"

Max swallows hard. "Yes sir."

The man groans. "I would be angry about this but it saves time for me." He sees Cole.

Everyone looks at Cole.

Cole stares at the man.

The man walks up to Cole.

Everyone moves out of the way, but me.

I grab Cole's hand. He tightly holds my hand back.

The man sees our hands. "Got a couple of love birds here." He chuckles a little but it doesn't last long. He goes back to being serious. He looks at me. "Say, you look very familiar."

'Love birds? We we're anything near that! At least..' A shiver goes down my back. The way he looks at me is creepy.

Max jumps in. "Well, that's funny you say that cause they are here to meet their parents!" He smiles.

The man nods. "Well, we should show them." he walks away, going to a panel box. He presses a button.

When he does five tubes show up out of the floor. "Here are your parents." He opens the tubes. Showing all our parents.

My mouth drops. "Oh my god.." 'I can't believe what I was seeing!' The tubes had frozen bodies in each one except for two.

"What's wrong with them?" Katy asks.

"They are frozen." Max answers.

"Okay.." The man walks to the first one. "This is.." He reads the clip board attached to the tube. "Morgan's mother"

Morgan looks at her suppose mother. "So that's my mom?.." She just stares at her.

The woman looks just like Morgan but older.

"Her name is Monica Finch." The man crosses his arms as he talks.

Max goes to the next tube. "This one is Lela Sutton." He looks at Brandon. "Brandon's mom"

Brandon looks at his mother. "Mama?" He looks up at her.

She was a very tall muscular woman.

'I can see where he gets his appearance from.'

Max goes to the next one. "And this is Casey Good. Katy's father."

Katy smiles at her dad. "..daddy.." tears roll down her cheeks.

I look at the last two tubes. 'Empty..'

Max notices me. He looks at the man.

The man sighs. "I knew you looked familiar.."

I look at him. "What do you mean?"

He looks at the ground. "Your father is not in there because.." He takes a deep breath. "..he is a traitor."

I freeze. 'My "real" father is a traitor?' I look at Max. "Is this true?"

Max sighs. "Yes."

I look back at the tube. I see Cole. "What about Cole's parent?"

Cole just stares at the tube.

"Cole's father is.." Max looks at the man.

The man groans. "I'm his father."

We all look at him.

"You?" I stare at him. 'Cole's father is the angry guy?' I turn to Cole.

Cole looks at the man. "So..you're my father?"

The man nods. "I'm Clyde, Clyde Douglas."

Cole's eyes widen. "But that's-"

"Yes. Your last name." Clyde looks at him.

I look at him confused. "So...let me get this straight. Your his father? But you gave him your last name? How is that possible if we lived on earth? I mean we aren't suppose to know who we really were!"

Clyde sighs. "Cole is half human."

Cole stares at the ground. "This whole time..." His fists clutch.

I notice. I rush to him. "This is not the time Cole.." I rub his back.

He looks up at his 'father'. "You left her.."

I shake my head. "No.." I stand in front of him.

He doesn't look at me.

"Okay! I think that has been enough for today!" Max claps his hands. "Lets go show you to your rooms!"

Cole turns to follow Max.

I sigh. 'Thank god..' I notice Morgan still staring at her mother. I walk to her. "Hey.."

"Do you believe it?.." She asks without taking her eyes off her mother.

I sigh. "Maybe.." I stare at the ground. "But what can we believe now? I mean think about it. All this happened in a matter of days! We all found out what we were and where we came from. I don't know what to believe anymore"

She sighs. "Thanks.." She turns around.

We stand there for a moment before she walks off.

I look up at her mother. 'I wish I could have met him. My father..'

"Don't worry." Clyde walks beside me.

I look at him. "Why?"

He looks at me. "You'll meet your father." He turns to the doorway.

"What do you mean?" I ask.

He stops. "He fights for the shadows. You'll see him on the battle field." He walks off.

I stand there. 'My father...I may have to fight him!' I groan.

"Izzy?"

I look over to see Katy.

"You coming?" She smiles.

I nod. "Yeah." I walk to her.

Max stops in front of five doors. "Okay. These will be your rooms for each one of you." He goes to the first one. "Brandon, your room is right here."

Brandon looks at it. A large red fist showed. "Cool.." He touches it.

"Morgan, your room is-" Max goes to say when she walks past him and goes into the room. Shutting the door behind her. "Okay then."

Morgan's room had a purple clock on it.

"Oh this ones mine!" Katy says excited. She stood in front of a door with a pink head. She jumps up and down. "BYE!" She rushes in.

Max laughs. "Okay. Cole your room is right here." He points to the door showing a blue eye ball.

Cole walks in. Slamming the door behind him.

I sigh. 'Poor Cole..'

"Izzy, this is your room." He shows me the last door.

I stare at it. It was a black one. It had a bird on it. "The bird. Its...its.." I try to say something.

"Beautiful?" He smiles.

"Yeahhh. Wait! Don't I have the power to heal?" I ask confused. 'Why did I have a bird on my door?'

"Yes. You do." He sighs. "Well your door was built for the master."

"The master?" I question. 'Who was this?'

"Your father. This was his room." He says.

"My dad?!" I say out loud. 'My room was once my fathers room?' I stare at the door.

Max laughs. "Yes." He nods. "But don't worry. You'll get new rooms. Maybe. We are building a new wing."

I nod. "Yeah.." I keep staring at the raven. 'It was pretty but...creepy..' I go to open the door when Max stops me.

"If you need someone to cuddle you still." He blushes. "I can still turn into a dog."

I stare at him. "NO!" I open the door and shut it quickly.

The room was very dark. Papers everywhere. The whole room was messy. A bookcase was knocked over. The bed uncovered.

"Messy room.." I groan. I lock the door. I walk to a door and open it. I turn the light on. "A bathroom.." I look around it. Surprising the bathroom was clean. I freeze when I hear something move behind me. I turn around. To my surprise I see no one. I sigh. 'Maybe I was just freaked out about everything else.' Suddenly, something breaths on my neck. I quickly turn but again see nothing.

"DINNER!" Someone yells while knocking and walking by my door.

I walk to the door but Cole opens it. "Cole!" I jump.

"You okay?" He asks.

"I'm fine." I clam down. I look at the door. 'I thought the door was locked? That's weird..'

"Man it's cold in here. And dark!" Cole says shivering.

I sigh. "Come on. I'm hungry." I pull him outside the room.
