Chapter 183 - Guang, Heian and Mei (6)

Thinking more about their situation, Guang finally gave up on her first mission of a family reunion. She decided to at least make Heian happy and allow her past this roadblock. However, they could not help Shadow, nor could they offer something that he could not refuse.

Thinking along that line, she thought of something.

It was something that she was hoping to rely on to grow and save Mei, but now she was at a crossroad. Based on their previous behaviour and action's, Aile would not want them around, they might have been treated well before. But now, in his view, Guang and Heian could only amount to bandit spies. Spies that could not even protect themselves after an explicit warning.

So the problem was to establish trust and offer something valuable so that they could be noticed and treated well by Aile. Only her inheritance was something that would be able to gain his attention. She thought of a plan and told Heian about it.

However, before Heian could voice her disapproval, they felt frigid energy. This brought their conversation to a halt, and someone entered their room, and to their surprise, they recognized him. It was the bandit leader. After examining Aurelius and somehow making the two guards stare blankly at space, he shifted his gaze to Guang and Heian. There was a quick glint of identification.

"So you two decided to accompany that person, Shadow?"

Afraid of his pressure and the fact that he managed to get into the mansion with ease, they nodded. Not daring to lie in the situation, the best they could do was to avoid talking as much as possible not to incur the wrath or gather his attention. He disappeared and arrived close to them and returned back to his previous spot in a matter of a second. He was gone, but firey energy was itched on both Heian and Guang's body.

"Well, I am interested in him. If I return back, I will come back and meet him later. I hope both of you remain loyal and remember where your allegiances lay. Do not remove my little gift to both of you and do not try to warn him. I won't hurt him, I promise." He said with a chilly smile. He turned and started to walk back.

Guang gathered her courage and did not want to lose this opportunity and took a risk by demanding meekly, "I want to meet Aunt, where is she?"

There was a quick imperceptible change in his behaviour, and they got the quick reply, "You will be able to meet Mas... Mei. If you wish, then next time we meet, I can take you to her. Of course, it will be based on how much you two decide to help and your loyalty?" He disappeared as he finished.

Heian asked, "Sister, I do not want to... they saved us... We have to find another way..."

Guang shook her head, "Do not worry, I will not do that... but you have to listen to my plan..." Guang then went to explain the plan to her.

Blushing profusely Heian said, "What if he does something to us? You said we no longer have a backing or use to him. You also know he likes a lot of women, and y-y-you want us to remove our clothes... in front of him?"

Expecting such a reaction from her sister, Guang felt apologetic and said, "He needs to know we are vulnerable, and we are willing to trust him. He will not do something to us. Did you forget how he treats those around him? It will just be so that we could establish trust."

"But sister, you are planning to give him your inheritance? Didn't you say that you will be marked as all of the dark elves' enemy..."

Stopping her from realizing the danger she is going to be in, Guang said, "Did you see any dark elves here? So what is there to be afraid of. Do not worry about it, I know what I am doing."

"Ok, but I am not comfortable with removing my clothes in front of him... We can not trust him based on our limited information."

Guang snorted, knowing full well that she was gambling her and her sister's body saying, "Then don't I will do it alone. Do not be sad when your crush ogles my body." The only thing that ever brought her sister's logical optimistic mind into a halt was the thought of her crush, Aile. Knowing full well that she was playing dirty Guang did not mind, because now she knew her Aunt was alive based on what she got from the bandit leader.

Heian and Guang are both are in danger. This is because, at their level, their beauty is more of a curse without the protection of a force. But this situation could change, and at the same time, the condition of her Aunt could improve. She just has to set her plan in motion, she could achieve what is best for them. All she has to do is give up on the possibility of a happy life. This was not hard for her, she believed that such a life she is not destined for.

The only crux of her plan is that she has to rely on someone, she has to ensure Shadow plays the desired role for her sister and Aunt. Possibly allowing her sister to live happier and her Aunt less miserable.

After a while, Heian said, "Sister is it true that Aunt is alive? Why do you think she has not come to see us?... Maybe she is in danger. What do you think about asking Aile for help? If we beg him maybe he can help us..." Heian became clear-headed and tried to offer a solution, her Aunt's survival was as much good news as bad news to them. While they are now happy to hear this news, they are more miserable at their powerlessness. Knowing that someone is alive while not being able to save them in some situations takes a more burdensome emotional toll, than the alternative.

"Why would he do that? He does not lack money, power, women. We have nothing, as long as he does not kick us out or worst... We should be happy if he does not renege his protection. We cannot let others fight our battle." 'Sorry, sis, I will act hypocritical, this time. I just do not want you to be involved.' Guang had brewed a plan to help both her sister and her Aunt. In this plan, she would perhaps lose everything, granting a chance of happiness for both her Aunt and sister. She needed her sister for the first part.

Heian had to give up on her questions because Guang played dirty again and brought up Aile distracting her and making her stunned. Three days passed and then Aile arrived at their room. As planned, Guang embarrassedly stripped herself defenceless, Heian followed. His gaze was not too lecherous, giving her comfort in Heian staying here under his care. His reaction was different, not buying the primary lure. However, thankfully he got engrossed in the mark left by the bandit leader. Guang was happy that the universe was helping her and allowing her plan to proceed. In the end, he agreed to her plan, but he seemed more interested in the rune than anything else. He even confirmed everything with a seal. Guang had no evil intention towards him, so the seal was no problem to her. He even confirmed her everything with Heian. She gave the same response.

Guang was ready for the next step of the plan, the universe has already blessed her once. With a little bit of luck, she would succeed in the next step, ensuring her sister's happiness and possibly even her Aunt. However, there was already a problem. Guang arrived at the entrance of the main building, finally getting enough recognition from Aile.

However, there was another beautiful woman there, Guang was not happy. How many people does Heian need to compete with? Talking with Xue, Guang realized she was new here too. It could either mean it was an elaborate plan to make her drop her guard with the addition of another lady. It could also be genuinely Xue's first time.

Therefore, in her anger, Guang decided to discredit Aile's character in front of Xue, so that she could back off and inadvertently increase the chances of her sister. This will also give her a clue as to which of her conjectures were true.

However, after calling him a pervert because of only two mounts available, Xue simply agreed to ride with him ruining her plan. Now she realized that she had pushed him to the new girl. 'How did Xue accept it so easily? Could she be with him already? NO, she did not seem confident around him, or could she be that open to his advances?' It was already too late. 'How come she did not even reject his intimate contact with him or question him even once.'
