1 Prologue

'My head really hurts….'

This was Victor first thought upon waking up. It felt as if there was a cut on his head, hurting so badly that it seemed as if his skull was about to crack apart.

As his consciousness cleared, he realised he was room . The pain was so great that he had to suck in several sharp breaths

Victor looked around him, but he saw a different room .

He saw a one person size wooden bed and a reading table, the room was small. But it had everything the person needed from a bed to a bathroom.

'Shit the memories aren't complete, my luck is just so good isn't it?' Victor has problems now

that his memories aren't complete so he has disadvantage on his opponents.

"First I have to know where I am? and where i am".

Suddenly there was knocking on the door, " Victor are you there?" There was a sound of a boy behind the door.

'Shit what should I do now?'

After thinking for a time he decided, he got up and opened the door. When he opened the door he was met with a boy around his age, he had blonde hair and a cute face with a milky skin. When Victor saw he memories rushed into his head. He name was Martin he is also a nobel born and they met at the potential test.

'Wtf that was unexpected, so this is where I am, I have potential to become a magus or swordmaster so we are traveling to the selection site so one of the academies will select us'.

'Hmmm it seems that we are traveling by air'.

After organising the new memories in his mind, Victor gained some insight about his body and this world.

This realm was in an era that was similar to the European Middle Ages. But there was something more to this world than that, the presence of a mysterious force. The presence… of magic and aura sword.

'I seem to be in a magical world where there are magus and swordmaster'

'Before this I was in the shadow realm, mages tried to occupy our world '

The original owner of his current body was called Victor, and he was the son of a midlle noble. He had been tested to be gifted with the talent to become a Magus and as such his father, count roger , had pulled strings to allow him to become a magician-in-training, an acolyte. The airship was he was currently on was travelling towards a magic academy.

All the youths on this carriage had been tested to be gifted with magic. Martin was a Count's legitimate son, and a favoured one at that. When his gift was revealed, the Count spent a lot of resources and pulled many strings in order to enter a magic academy.

'A Count?' Victor inwardly thought.

Although he had taken over this body and even its memories, he was still very different from the original Victor. His family members, who had spent years with him, would easily be able to tell the difference. If they mistook him as being possessed by a demon and perhaps begged one of those mysterious Magi to investigate, it was extremely likely that he would be found out.

'However, if I can enter a magic academy, I probably won't return for at least several years. By that time, any changes in behaviour will be written off as par for the course. Magi are known to be strange and eccentric. At that point, it would be strange if I hadn't changed at all, not if I had!'

Just as he was in deep thought, a pair of strong large hands suddenly assisted him to his feet.

His memories returned to Victor father, count roger. His lands were about as large as a four city from victor previous life, and he had thousands of soldiers under his command.

In this world, noble rankings were inexorably tied to personal strength.

"What is it you want Martin?" Asked victor

" Nothing, I just wanted to make sure you are okay? You haven't been out since you lost a match" Asked Martin .

" Thank you. I'm fine. Martin was Victor's friend in his city. Do you want to come in and have a cup of wine with me?" Said Victor .

"Yes for sure!" Answered Martin

he came in and sat on his bed, then victor handed her a glass of red wine and took one for himself too. Martin took a sip of the wine and started talking about journey.

"What are you thinking about?" Martin asked.

"No– Nothing!" Victor quickly shook his head, but then held onto it once more, still in pain.

He suddenly spun his head around and looked at Martin, causing the boy's heart to stop in its tracks. He felt as if he was being stared at by a venomous snake.

Victor rolled his eyes and asked, "Dearest Martin, why didn't you wake me up earlier.

"Heh heh! I saw you having such a nice sleep, and thought you liked lying down!" Martin scratched his head abashedly. However, his eyes sparked with a cunning gleam.

After he finished speaking, he had run off like a gust of wind!
