20 Dark abyss...

After going into the Dream realm, I was pulled under the dark water of the forgotten shores. I first felt like I would drown, but I quickly summoned my mount – a big crab that was almost like a boss in itself. I grabbed its armor and ordered it to swim up. After almost an entire minute of swimming, I was outside of the water, and the surface was ink black.

There were no stars, no moon – just pure darkness. I looked around in my directions, and there was nothing but dark ink water and silence, broken by the waves. I looked at a distant platform made of stone and ordered my crab to take me there. It swam at a fast speed, and I was there in no time. I jumped over from the top of the crab, and now I was on the platform. My armor was wet, but it can be fixed if I just put it away and summon it again. Just like that, it was dry again. Sigh, now I have to wait for the low tide to come.

As I sat there in darkness for a bit, no more than just five minutes, I heard a commotion in the sea. I went to look to see what it was about, and I saw something really funny that will probably never be forgotten from my memory. Our amazing MC himself, Sunny, was swimming toward me. Behind him was a massive shark-like creature, and from here, an even bigger shadow was following the shark-like monster. It was incredibly funny to see, as Sunny was completely naked, but it was also a little scary.

As Sunny made it, I put my hand in the water and pulled him up. He was in shock that he was suddenly pulled from the water, but after seeing me, he calmed down a bit. We are now both looking in the water at the huge shark-like beast, which crashed into the platform. But it did not end there; a huge tentacle came out from under the sea, and in just one motion, the huge shark was gone, and the water was once again calm and innocent like nothing has happened.

Now that the water was once again calm, and after some moments, there was activity. I looked over at Sunny and said, 'Cute little pecker you got there. Well, looks like luck is on your side that I was already here. You look like a wet dog; want a towel?' While I was talking, I was looking down at his exposed half. It was really tiny but kinda cute.

'Don't look down here, you pervert, and it's not tiny. It's just that the sea water was cold. And why will you have a towel? If you have one, I would like to have it.' Sunny hid his shame with his hands, looking insecure about his height. So I gave him a towel, as I have 99 in one slot of my system. I knew this would come in handy.

After wiping himself over, he summoned his puppeteer's shroud, an awakened armor. It was skin-tight, not that great for defense, but it can self-repair. Now that we are both dressed and on the same page, we both sat down, looking into the distance.

'When you said your luck was bad, I did not believe it. But now I think you really are unlucky, ending up in an unknown zone in the Dream realm and in an ocean, never the less – a medium where we don't have many ways to fight. Do you think anyone who got summoned underwater is going to even live?' I looked at Sunny, who still looked like a small black puppy. If he knows what I am thinking, he will also bark like a puppy.

'No. Why those fools could survive in the ocean if there was no platform like this, I don't know. I even know that they can swim. Stupid people should have taken Survival class. Teacher Julius drilled into us how to swim, but even then, the creatures of the Deep will get them. Who knows what else is in there.' Sunny was not looking anywhere but the dark sea. I don't think he can really look away from it, after all, the tentacle of that monster can reach where we are. So I was also on the lookout.

'Want to eat something? Who knows how long we will be stuck on this ocean. Look at the sky; there are no clouds or even smog. But we can't look into space, and there are no stars there. It's like some big monster ate all the stars.' I was looking up at the sky. It really was grim dark; nothing was there, just complete darkness. It's creepy, a space with no stars. If I remember correctly, on this planet, a soldier or someone corrupted by Difelment fell down from the war of the god, and over many years, this place has turned into a dead world where nothing but corrupted and twisted moved.

'Wait, you have food, but where? Well, it does not matter; give it to me then. And yeah, it is really creepy. If there is some huge monster eating stars, aren't those really big, bigger than the planets we live on? Then the monster must be really huge. What class will it be? Can someone even kill it? I don't think so. But hey, don't tell me scary stuff like this.' I looked at Sunny and put my hand in the bag, pulling out soup and bread. I have put some really good stuff in there and gave it to him.

He looked at me and the food, 'Don't you have any meat? Well, I am not complaining; I think that soup looks amazing, better than those fake synthesis food tubes.' He took the food and started eating. I don't think I can explain to him why I don't eat meat; he won't get it.

'Well, I don't eat meat, so I don't have any. But the soup you are eating has everything your body will need, so don't worry about that. And why I don't eat meat? Well, I don't need to, and I don't kill unless necessary. So I won't kill stuff just to eat it. I have other things I can eat. My family was like that.' Sunny was listening to me, and I could see his face turn into a frown. I could hear it, even if he did not say it, that I was a fool and how I should only care about myself. Well, I will be honest, I get him, but eating meat is just disgusting to me. But if worst comes to worst, I won't mind.

'Your family must be very weird then. And why will you care about killing food? But you do you. And thank you for sharing the food. If I had any, I would not have shared. So I think you must have a bleeding heart or something.' Sunny went back to eating, and he somehow shot the dart on the center. I really do have a bleeding heart for everyone.

Now, as we ate some food and looked at the sky, which was now showing a pale sun coming up – which I knew was not a sun at all but an absolute horror made artificially. I had chills when the light fell on me. But as the fake sun came up, the water was going down, and it was fast. In just some thirty minutes, it was almost completely gone, and we are now on a really tall statue. Looking down, I could see the red coral reefs that were huge – some were bigger than the tallest building on my last Earth. As they emerged from that dark ocean, it was like a maze, but I don't think I will have much problem with that, as I have Sunny and his shadow to scout for me.
