Seeing the fire lance disappear they become more aggressive. As the ape that jumped charged at me. while the other two stood on either side and shrieked.
The ape sent a punch just as powerful as the one before but it missed its mark. I dodged and tried to cut the ape with my daggers but I missed his target as well. Both apes and humans attacked and dodged each other. The ape had the advantage of long arms and a larger reach. Meanwhile, I had a sharp short blade as my weapon.
Seeing as he was getting nowhere I cast my next spell.

It took me 3 hours to kill everything that was in the surrounding labyrinth. It took him quite a hassle to kill all of the beasts. Especially when they were flying ones and a few humanoid monsters riding their flying mounts while an endless bunch of giant rats Huge Apes, Lynx, and big wolf monsters flooded the entire place. I might've not killed every rat out there but I was sure I took most if not all of those monsters.
Plus the traps got us many times from falling traps to poison arrows to spike ground. It got frustrating after a while.
We were finally walking to the place where I felt the most powerful energy coming from the entrance of the boss room.
I also noticed the deeper we go, the fewer monsters we encounter, so it's been a while since our past monsters.
"Are you OK Hyungnim"
"Yes, why do you ask?" I asked Yoo Jinho while walking forward.
"Well you see it's been more than three hours since we entered this place and you haven't reacted for more than 5 minutes since then, and it's just about walking. You are constantly fighting monsters while also protecting me. I feel like I am not doing much to help."

Even if there is nothing I am still thankful this place gave me more levels than any dungeons I ever cleared and I have yet to confront the boss.

Before I even looked around some small jumps from the midst of the tall grass leaves. It swiped its claw at my face. I leaned to the side and used the dagger and slashed at my new enemy.

It was a pretty great dagger that I got in my last dungeon raid. The dungeon was full of Werewolves and wolves and I got this from the dungeon boss Golden Werewolf Ardwolf.
It's extremely good if you add the extra damage on specific races, especially with Werewolves, and Vampires getting permanent damage. The multiverse is filled with those exceptionally Vampires.
So it was a wonderful blade I got from the dungeon. And soon I will have some great werewolves shadow soldiers.
Armed with two great daggers and I waited for the enemies to come to me. As they were out of my senses, spamming AOE would be just a waste of mana and time mainly when I am not aware of what awaits me.
I know next is the boss room and I need my mana to replenish completely.
My goal was to learn and train to face multiple opponents at the same time. I focused and my senses were heightened. I tried to sense their mana and thus their location.
But they were too fast and far more sense more
senses to register them. They were fast, faster than Lynx's who were as fast as I am without any boost.
As I was in the midst of trying to ascertain the enemy locations the attack began. The labyrinth tigers in front went for my throat and the one behind him aimed at my neck. A couple of others rushed to bite down on my legs.
My senses told him exactly where each one was. I swiftly slashed all around them. I strengthened my legs and stomped on the ones that came from below. "Earth Lance"

Several notifications popped up but I ignored them all. I slashed and severed the neck of one while I plunged my daggers deep into the belly of another. I threw the ones trying to tear my legs off. And casted fire and ice arrows on him killing him then and there. And when others came back I stomped on their heads crushing their skulls.
I kept slashing and hacking and casting away and after several minutes no enemy was left. I kept looking around and when I didn't see any, and didn't feel the newly made danger sense wasn't going off.
I had killed all of them and I didn't even realize it.
I was cut up, bleeding, and in pain but I had a mad grin on his face. I didn't realize it at the time, but the thrill of this fight, the adrenaline coursing through my veins, and the feeling of extreme danger… all of it excited me.
This dungeon… It had awakened my hunger for battle.
