....

As befitting of the nickname 'Ultimate Weapon', Jin could sense a gigantic amount of magical energy from Choi Jong-In, but besides that guy, not one was worthy of mention.

'Could the real deal yet to come out in public or be the weak ones, instead?'

But, that simply made no sense.

Jin softly shook his head.

These were the members of the no.1 raid team selected from the cream of the crop found in the country's top Guild.

'I mean, the Guild Master himself has participated in the raid, so there's just no way that some nobodies would be chosen as team members.'

The word most ill-suited to describe these people would be 'pathetic'. Then, there could be only one conclusion.

'No, it's just me who's view of the strong is ever changing.'

A thin smile crept up on Jin's lips. Strength was relative, wasn't it?

The efforts of the last couple of months definitely did not betray his expectations. His Stats had increased by so much that he could think of the raid team that managed to conquer a rank A dungeon as weaklings and pathetic'

By using the difference between himself and them, he could sense his own strength.

Thump, thump, thump….

My heart raced, but not solely from the realization of his unique position within the place. No, there was something else, something far more primal and intimate, a sensation I had experienced only once before. It coursed through me from the very depths of my being.

As I stood there, no words were spoken, and no sounds attracted his attention. Yet, as if guided by an unspoken magnetic force, my head instinctively swiveled back towards the Gate. What met my eyes left me in stunned disbelief.

"How can this be…?" I whispered to himself.

Emerging gracefully from the Gate was a woman, her short hairstyle framing her makeup-free face. It was impossible not to notice the captivating features that adorned her visage. Her large, clear eyes held a depth that drew me in, and her clean, porcelain-like skin seemed to emit an ethereal radiance. My gaze couldn't help but trail down to the neckline, its smooth curvature a testament to the sublime grace of her form.

Yet, it wasn't just her face that struck him. It was the hourglass athletic figure that left me momentarily breathless. Cha Hae In possessed a physique that could only be described as "juicy." Her thick thighs, a marvel of sculpted perfection, drew the eye and hinted at unparalleled strength. The undeniable allure of her generous D+ curves defied the imagination, exuding an aura of magnetic sensuality.

Her eyes that shined like gems, a plump lips along with a girly aura.

As my eyes continued their journey down, they settled on Cha's long blonde hair, elegantly tied in a ponytail that cascaded down her back. Every strand seemed to shimmer like threads of spun gold, and the very sight of her hair was enchanting.

Clad in her red-themed armor, she looked like a goddess of battle, a warrior sculpted from the very essence of beauty and strength. Her armor accentuated every contour of her body, hinting at power barely contained beneath its surface.

And then, there was the sword—a black blade with a silver hilt, held firmly in her hand. It was a weapon that seemed an extension of her being, a reflection of her prowess and mastery.

It didn't take a scholar to see that Cha Hae In  was an embodiment of allure and grace, a breathtaking amalgamation of strength and beauty. In a crowd of a hundred, every single one of them would unhesitatingly offer praise for her stunning looks, dubbing her nothing short of exquisite.

For me, the sight before me was a captivating testament to the boundless wonders of the multiverse, where beauty took many forms and possessed limitless variations. Cha Hae In was a living embodiment of this truth, a mesmerizing vision that defied description—a true marvel that would leave anyone, man or woman, in awe.

Now he knew this feeling was the same he had when he first time saw Esdeath. Just like her I wanted to make her mine forever.

My heart started beating faster and for the first time in months cold sweat appeared on my back.

Cha Hae In  being one of the important capture targets she was blessed with beauty, strength and background.

She was among one of the girls i plan to conquere, a person who displays a strong front like she cares about nothing but has a warm hidden heart within her

That person in now standing in front of me, it really is a surreal experience. I always wondered why people would buy figurines of their interest. Now I definitely can understand why, it really is exciting to have a figure of your imagination in front of you.

It was mind blowing scenery for me.

overall she gave off a huge amount of sex appeal.

as soon as i sat up i put a stupefied expression, unconsciously I muttered

"beautiful"

But somehow someway I controlled my body. I didn't want to lose this chance. Esdeath was much different than her. I have take a slow path to make her mine.  And it was the same for most women who will come in my life. Esdeath was a very unique case.  taking a deep breath to control my body, I forcefully moved my head.

She possessed an aura and beauty that easily overwhelmed her surroundings.

By the time his shock wore off and cold reasoning succeeded in driving his emotions out of his head, Jin, still in a somewhat mesmerizing state, recalled this woman's name again.

The only female rank S, Cha Hae-In.

The top-ranked Hunter who formed, along with Choi Jong-In, one of the core pillars of the Hunters Guild.

Just how many women possessing such an aura existed in South Korea?

Compared to her 'rarity' though, Cha Hae-In's face wasn't all that well known. It was because she didn't enjoy being exposed to the cameras. And that was also why Jin didn't see her, and he saw Cha Hae-In's face for the first time today as well.

'Wait, her face doesn't even look weird like in some rumours, so how come she hates being in front of a camera?'

Indeed, pretty much all ladies in their early twenties loved taking photos. Sure, all those happened to be selfies, but still.

Perhaps his stare was too direct, Cha Hae-in's own gaze began shifting in Jin's direction.

'Stealth… shouldn't be necessary here, right?'

Jin easily hid his presence. Cha Hae-In continued to scan the area Jin used to stand before tilting her head slightly.

'What was that? I thought I felt a really strong presence staring at me just now.'

Was she mistaken?

Initially, she thought that the Association President Goh Gun-Hui had stopped by the operations area. However, that powerful presence disappeared completely as if it was a lie.

'Well, someone as busy as the Association President wouldn't come unannounced, now would he?'

Too bad for her, the cost of her misunderstanding was rather great.

Because she was searching for the hint of that strong presence, she had to focus her senses, and that meant the heavy odour several times worse than normal assaulted her nose.

"Euk."

As usual, Cha Hae-In pulled out a handkerchief to cover her nose, and while tottering around somewhat uneasily, escaped from the cordon of Hunters.

'Her perception is better than I thought.'

Jin let out a sigh of relief while watching Cha Hae-In's distancing back. With her exit, all the raid team members had come out of the Gate.

Having been waiting with bated breath for this moment, the foreman of the mining team Bae Yun-Seok turned around to face his boys. He clapped his hands loudly and spoke up with a bright voice.

"Well, it's our turn now, so let's all do our best!"

The unique nature of the job meant that the retrieval team would have to enter first, followed by the mining team.

Jin stood in front of the Gate.

'....'

As he stood there while silently admiring the splendour of the rank A Gate, something he hadn't done in a long while, Bae Yun-Seok approached him.

"Mister Sung, what are you doing? We should go inside."

"Alright."

Jin replied briefly and stepped through the Gate, just like other Hunters did before him.

And then, a familiar message popped up before his eyes.

[You have entered a dungeon.]

'There's a breeze inside this dungeon?'

Jin raised his head.

As soon as stepping inside, he sensed an ominous wind blowing in from the deepest part of the cave-like dungeon.

Suddenly, he felt a little hotter and a lot more hory after seeing her run down his head. And at the same time, Jin raised his eyebrows at the wind.

'A basic wind spell?' Jin muttered as he sense the flow of the wind and many presence deep in the cave.

As, this was a ripple caused by the magic energy. The magic energy emitted by the boss of this rank A dungeon was physically touching Jin's body.

Considering that the rank S dungeons were incredibly hard to find, even in the entire world, the owner of this magic energy could very well be the highest levelled monster Jin could realistically meet in normal circumstances.

'The boss of a rank A dungeon….'

He was tempted to confirm the creature with his own two eyes now. And, as there was a chance….

As a picture of his and his soldiers' latest fights against demons amidst the carnage, a gruesome and nightmarish landscape unfolded that time before him, a tableau of horror that would haunt the dreams of even the bravest souls.

He couldn't help but smile, his lips curling upward as he surveyed the gruesome scene. Was this the primal instinct of a hunter, finely tuned by countless battles and an endless pursuit of strength? Or was it something more, an inhuman nature that had evolved to hunt down everything and everyone that dared to threaten his existence? At that point, it was difficult to discern who the real monsters were in this macabre dance of death.

The ground, once lush with foliage, was now stained crimson with the lifeblood of the fallen. Limbs and appendages lay scattered haphazardly, torn from the bodies of powerful predators who had once instilled fear into the hearts of lesser creatures. Now, they themselves had become the prey, their once-dominant forms reduced to mere piles of mangled flesh.

The air was thick with the metallic tang of blood, a pungent reminder of the merciless slaughter that had taken place. The agonized cries of dying demons echoed in the distance, a symphony of pain that served as a haunting backdrop to the gruesome tableau.

But what set Jin apart from the very creatures he hunted was his insatiable hunger for power and dominance.

Even death could not grant anything he kills, for their very souls served him as loyal pets, their essence bound to his will.

Wasn't the act of pointing a metaphorical nuke at these powerful predators and their entire species the most instinctive act there could be for a true monster?

Jin's smile widened, revealing the predatory glint in his eyes. In this blood-soaked battlefield, he had become the apex predator, the harbinger of their annihilation.

As he gazed upon the horrors he had wrought, Jin couldn't help but revel in the brutality of it all. This was the world he had chosen to inhabit, a world where strength reigned supreme and the line between hunter and monster blurred into oblivion.

If he wanted to live a happy peaceful life he had to kill anyone who wouldn't let him have it, even if it was the whole world he was preparing to do it.

I knew you can't save everyone doing so you will only lose, So I rather save the ones that I love.

It was then.

Tap.

A guy coming inside the dungeon bumped into Jin's shoulder taking him out of his past thoughts.

"Eiii, come on, man. Walk faster."

A man named Lee Seong-Gu frowned deeply, the words flying out of his mouth sounding sullen.

The interior of the rank A dungeon was huge. There was plenty of space to go around the person in front. However, Lee Seong-Gu found this newbie who stood there unmoving not to his liking at all.

So, he figured he'd embarrass the kid or something by bumping into his back, but…..

'What the f*ck is up with this guy? He's like a d*mn concrete pillar!'

When he ran into the newbie's back, it was him who got bounced away instead. So, quite obviously, his irritation had shot up to the heavens.

'Why is rank E this tough?'

Still, this kid was a measly E. And he was a rank C.

Although his skills lagged behind compared to other rank C Hunters, and therefore he had to work as a miner, regardless of all that, it wouldn't do for him to lose out to a rank E like this.

However, the newbie didn't even show a single hint of a response.

Lee Seong-Gu's eyes narrowed to a slit.

'Oh? Would you look at this fool?'
