1 Prologue

It was the twenty-first century 2023 march when Earth was as usual with ongoing development for the further process but on certain days the greatest earthquake took place and many portals arrived all around the Earth. Seven gigantic portals were as large as Burj Khalifa. From these portals arrived Dragons, Demons, Angels, Vampires, Werewolves, Dwarves, and Witches. As for the small portals some monsters emerged from them.

These beings fought to claim Earth for themselves and as a result, more than eighty percent of the human population got wiped from the surface of the Earth. Due to the power struggle many of them lost their loved ones and family and so, but there arrived a ray of hope for the humans to gain a foothold and stay strong and fight for their survival by awakening supernatural power.

The war lasted a hundred years and around the year 2123, they all ended the war by signing a peace treaty.

The reason for this was that they had to face a common enemy the monsters who emerged from portals who had almost zero rationality and brought forth destruction on their way and also due to her interference in this war.

During the ongoing war around nighttime in the year 2111 November 5 at a prestigious hospital, a woman was screaming in pain because she was giving birth to a child.

A man was sitting near the woman holding her hand tightly and trying to comfort her so that she felt a bit less pain. This man was around 30 years old and had an average look but was not too handsome the woman who was giving birth was also around 27 years old but she was a beauty that can make many go crazy in love just by seeing her. Despite the labor pain, she looked gorgeous.

Finally, after undergoing terrible pain she gave birth to her child but she soon passed out. The doctor and nurse did their duties and they showed the baby to the father and told him that it was a boy. The man in his 30s held the baby in his arms and he was so happy that he was shedding tears of joy.

He was smiling by looking at his child and was lost in his thoughts but suddenly his expression changed and he said " I must do it otherwise the disaster will fall upon not only you but us also so to ensure your survival I must do this, my baby. Sorry but we both cannot be there to see you all grown up"

He walked out of the ward and went to another ward where a woman had also given birth to a baby boy. He exchanged his baby boy with that baby boy.

Before he left he said while staring at his child "We will always watch over you from the shadows. Grow up and stay strong and live a happy life, my baby". Then he looked at the baby that he was holding in his hands and while moving out of there he thought to himself 'No matter what we will raise you like our blood dear boy.'

But who knew that the fate of the MC was already taking a twist and turn?

A man just entered the ward where our MC was staying he looked tensed and scared he went near MC and he shuffled his baby with MC and said while staring at his baby " My baby will grow like a king and lead a life of a king even in this bloodshed times I hope you will have a good life and continue our blood lineage".

He then ran from there by holding the MC in his hands and he put down the MC near his wife and made sure that no one knew what he just did. But there was a nurse who witnessed all these but for some reason, she remained silent.

Though the war was on it was not so dreadful that where humans may go extinct. These beings didn't go to wipe out the entire human race to extinction they made sure that around twenty to fifteen percent of the human population remained intact.

During this end of wartime many academies, guilds, and organizations were established in which so many of the young ones were nurtured.

At the age of five from birth, every child irrespective of race awakened their supernatural powers. Humans too could check their supernatural powers awaken and grade their powers. But most of them couldn't grade themselves because they cannot enter these establishments without proper connection with any of the other races.

Most talented humans were recruited by the other races and then they were given training and nurtured so that they could be good assets to their families or for their forces.

Just like that those who had some worth in human races and had their value in one or the other way climbed the hierarchy of power by backing any of these races. They dominated the human families with low status in society.

Our MC also belonged to one of these low-status families. And this is all due to how fate played its part in his life. When he was three years old his father died from the attack of a monster horde. From then on he grew up with his mother.

She lost her husband in the attack of the monster horde. She was devastated to learn about this she mourned for days but she moved on like a strong woman. Because she had a son to raise. She did multiple jobs which were available in this war environment even if that job was too much for a woman like her. She did all this so she could give a nice meal to her son who was growing up. She skipped multiple meals so she could give a decent amount of food to her son by starving herself. Such a devoted caring mother cannot be described by words.

When her son was of age of awakening she brought him to one of the guilds which could grade the supernatural powers and his talents.

She had collected some money with which she could check her son's talent and supernatural power grade which could help him to survive a little better in this new era. She hoped her son would awaken a good-graded talent and supernatural powers but things never go the way you want to be.
