The pocket dimension that Kazuki was just in fades, leaving him at the same place he was nearly killed at. "Oh, man, I am so tired. This is going to get a while to get used to." Once he was home, he dropped onto his bed. Before he could close his eyes, he gets a new notification.

A crooked smile appears on Kazuki's face. "You're fucking with me, right? If I have to do a dungeon again I think I'll just die."
He springs out of his bed, puts on his running shoes, and goes outside. At this point, it is pitch dark outside and Kazuki cannot see a thing. "Man, how am I supposed to run in the dark?"

"Now with that out of the way, I should go to sleep." Once Kazuki wakes up from his slumber, he feels different. His body is much more toned and he grew a few inches, not many, but a few. Before his awakening, he was already pretty tall. "Woah, this must be because of the awakening. That is amazing!" After getting excited about his new physique, he finally decided to head to school. "Aw, man, school sucks."
When he was on his free period, Kazuki decided to do all of his daily quests.

"Accept all rewards." Inside the box was an item that he would have never guessed to be in the box. "A can of beans? Are you serious?"
Little did he know, he was being watched by a red-haired woman.
"Hey, Koneko. If you don't mind, I would like you to find out who this boy is. There seems to be a great power coming deep within him." Koneko, who was sitting on the couch eating her chocolates nods her head in understanding.
Outside, Kazuki is busy questioning why he got a can of beans instead of something cool. "Man, I guess the boxes are random. I should get back to classes though."
When classes were over with and Kazuki gets a message notification.

[No malice detected.]
Seeing this message, Kazuki smirks and decides that it would be entertaining if he messed with the devil. He comes to a halt. Koneko, who had been following him, moved so she wouldn't be visible. "I know you're there, no use in hiding now." Hearing this, Koneko comes out of hiding and is face to face with Kazuki.
"Observe."

"What am I supposed to be looking at?" The white-haired girl asked. "What?" Kazuki said confused. "You said "Observe" and stared at me." Her eyes then darkened. "Hey, what's with the face?" Kazuki questioned. "Your not a pervert are you?"
Kazuki's eyes widened at the comment, "Me, a pervert? Of course not." The girl was still a bit skeptical but let it go for now. "The head of the Occult Research Club wishes to meet with you," the girl says.
"Yeah, that's cool and all but, can I at least have your name?" Kazuki says to the girl. "Koneko."
He of course already knew that. "Great, so, when should I go see this person?"
"Tomorrow, first thing in the morning."
"I'll be there."
"Thank you for your time." Koneko bows her head and returns to the Occult Research Club.
"Who knew devils could be so nice. They may seem nice right now, but these are devils we're talking about. Devils! I definitely cannot trust them."
Kazuki waits until Koneko is out of view and heads to a back ally.
"Dungeon Create."

He looks to see his new surroundings, it was a swamp. There were grasslands and water. Kazuki decides to explore the place, he walks around for a few minutes. Then, Kazuki sees a cabin. "Nice, I can probably stay here for a few days. The place looks abandoned, there is no way somebody could be living here.
Kazuki goes to open the door, which luckily for him, was unlocked. "I haven't seen any monsters yet but, why would the door be unlocked?"
Inside, the cabin was a hot mess. The fumes of the stench itself is making Kazuki sweat. His eyes also tearing up. "Damn, this is disgusting." He returns outside to get some fresh air. Kazuki hadn't realized it when he first arrived here but, the swamp itself didn't smell any better than the cabin. "Oh man, what the hell."
He wipes the tears with his shirt. Once done, he notices two feet. They weren't just any other feet, however, but amphibian-like feet. Kazuki slowly raises his head and is greeted with a face only a mother could love.
"Inventory."

The vodyanoy reels its hand back and puches Kazuki point blank in the face.

Kazuki headbutts the creature and is on his feet again.
The vodyanoy couldn't react fast enough as it was stabbed in its chest by Kazuki.

And so Kazuki decided to grind for the next day and a half. During this time, he leveled up a total of 14 times. Kazuki eventually returned to the cabin he saw when he first got there. He lays on the floor and goes to sleep.
Overnight, his health got back up to full. Any marks, scars, or scratches he gained from fighting healed.

"To think that you're the dungeon boss... You're too weak!" Kazuki summons his light spear and throws it. The spear of light heads directly for the ogre's neck, the impact decapitating the creature.

"Even though my fatigue was 1, I couldn't just let it go to waste." Kazuki finally decides to head home.

The next morning, he made sure to go see the head of the Occult Research Club. Once Kazuki was inside, he was greeted by a women with purple hair.
'Whenever I observe someone, I say it out loud. I wonder if it would work if I said it in my head. It wouldn't hurt to try.'

"Well yes, answer honestly." Rias says.
From the back of Kazuki, wings start to form. He sees the faces of Rias and Akeno, they were priceless.
"Surprised? I also know that you guys and devils."
"H-how is this possible?" Rias was extremely confused. She then begins to smirk. "How would you like to be a part of my peerage?"
"I think I'll pass."
"Why? This is a great opportunity."
"I said, I will pass." Kazuki was now getting frustrated. Out of retaliation, he summons a light spear. "Let me make this clear, I work for me and me alone. I don't need your help."
"I- I understand."
