But then Derek and Alex hears the sounds of footsteps approaching, Alex smirked and muttered"That brat is here." and Derek turns to see Scott walking out of the edge of the woods that border the Hale property.

Scott pauses for a moment, shifting nervously back and forth on each foot as Derek stares at him out of sight. After a moment, when he realizes that Derek isn't coming, Scott decides to make the first move and speaks up"I know you can hear me."

Inside, Derek continues to stare at Scott, who looks at the house with a pleading expression"I need your help."

After the break, rain has started to fall, and Scott has moved onto the porch, where Derek has finally opened the door and come out to join him. However, when Derek remains silent and stares at him blankly, Scott realizes he's going to have to work a little harder to get Derek's assistance and continues with a sigh" Okay, I know I was part of you getting arrested... and that we basically announced you being here to the Hunters... I also don't know what happened to your sister...

Derek continues to stare at Scott blankly, not giving anything away as Scott keeps rambling"But, I think I did something last night. I had a dream about..."

Scott hesitates for a moment, not wanting to advertise his continued relationship with Allison, before deciding to keep his tone evasive"Someone... but someone else got hurt. And, it turns out that part of the dream might have actually happened..."

Derek's expression doesn't change, making it clear that he has some idea of what has been going on"You think you attacked the driver?"

Scott's tone and expression become incredulous, and he assumes Derek knows more than he's letting on "Did you see what I did last night?"

Derek's facial expression remains impassive"No."

Scott with a worried tone questioned"Can you at least tell me the truth? Am I gonna hurt someone?"

Derek bluntly answered"Yes."

Scott again questioned"Could I kill someone?"

Derek again bluntly answered"Yes."

Scott was getting more and more worried questioned"Am I gonna kill someone?"

Derek frowned and answered"Probably."

Scott looks as though he's about to cry at the prospect of being a killer as he turns and walks toward the end of the porch, keeping his back turned to Derek and Alex.

While Alex spoke up"Hey, brat."

Scott turned around and looked at Alex, who sighed and added"You must understand, you are a untrained werewolf, so the chances of you attacking someone are great that is why Derek is keeping an eye on you and added issue of you are on the pack of Laura's attacker."

Scott slowly understood how bad the situation is, while Alex sighed spoke up" Myers was meant to be a kill committed by you and the Alpha together to bond and solidify your connection as part of the same pack.But it did not work for some reason, since I can tell the bond between you and alpha are not strong."

Scott hearing this was slightly hopeful, but then with a worried tone questioned"So is he going to kill someone else and use that too strengthen the bond."

Alex shrugged and answered"More or less, since the alpha has a lot of control over his pack mates."

Scott was completely breaking down, after a moment of watching him, Derek sighs before taking pity on him said"Look, I can show you how to remember. I can show you how to control the shift, even on a full moon. But it's not gonna come for free."

Scott is so despondent he not only doesn't have it in him to argue, but he can't even look Derek in the eyes and questioned "What do you want?"

Derek looked at Alex, who nodded and answered "You'll find out."

Derek pauses for a moment, and Scott continues to stare at the front of the house and said"But, for now, I'm gonna give you what you want."

Scott doesn't turn to face Derek, but his eyes shift so that he can look at Derek out of the corner of his eye

Derek explained"Go back to the bus. Go inside. See it. Feel it. Let your senses-- your sight, smell, touch-- let them remember for you."

Scott's brow furrows in confusion and incredulity

and questioned"That's it? Just-just go back?"

Alex frowned and said"He is trying to help you clean your conscious, brat."

Scott winced, while Derek looks at Scott curiously and questioned"Do you really want to know what happened?"

Scott finally turns to look Derek in the eye with a vulnerable expression and answered"I just want to know if I hurt him."

Derek senses exactly what Scott is afraid of and gives him a pointed look before calling him out on it"No, you don't-- you want to know if you'll hurt her."

Scott sighs and looks down at the floor, knowing that Derek is at least partially correct.

While Alex seeing that chances of Scott doing something stupid or arriving at the wrong conclusion are too huge spoke up"I will help you this time,kid."

Scott and Derek was surprised, Derek knew Alex disliked Scott stupidity, while Scott was reluctant about this, but soon Derek spoke up"Take him with you, he has more expertise in this field."

Scott was not sure, but soon nodded seeing this man was also Alicent's uncle.
