Marie-Jeanne went on to become a one of the best female Shadowhunters and she married Henri.

Marie-Jeanne  received her Angelic rune in a special ceremony in Alicante, attended by several Shadowhunters in addition to her friends. She was also honored by Alexander himself.

It was a classical building with high columns.Marie-Jeanne's rune ceremony is going on.

Marie-Jeanne was wearing a cream colored gown and was infront of friends and mentors.As she smiled and said"I stand before my fellow Shadowhunters to receive the rune of the Angel. I take this mark to honor Him. To bring His light into me. To join the ranks of the Shadowhunters, the guardians of peace."

As Alexander draws the rune of the Angel on her wrist.Everyone starts clapping.

The Rune Ceremony is a rite of passage for Shadowhunters who have completed their training where they are formally given their Angelic rune.

In 1878 While during this time Tessa Gray arrived at London and was abducted by the Dark Sisters.

But Alexander rescued her from the Dark House and brought to the London Institute.

Theresa Gray was born to an unmarked Shadowhunter named Elizabeth Gray and the Greater Demon, Belial, disguised as the mundane Richard Gray—Elizabeth's husband and the man who would raise her as his own, and whom everyone believed was her father. Under normal circumstances, children of Shadowhunters and demons would be stillborn, but Elizabeth was able to give birth to Tessa not only because she bore no runes, but also because she wore the clockwork angel.

For much of her early life, she was unaware of what she truly was and her true parentage. Conceived in London, Tessa's family moved to New York while Elizabeth was pregnant with her. After the death of her parents in a carriage accident when she was only three years old, she and her brother, Nate, were raised by her maternal aunt, Harriet Moore. She spent the majority of her life being overprotected by her Aunt Harriet and looking after Nate, who grew up spoiled. Tessa, meanwhile, grew up finding comfort in books, dreaming of having the kind of adventures she read about. At sixteen, her Aunt Harriet died of what she thought was a fever. Upon her death, Nate arranged for Tessa to move to London with him.But thankfully she was found by Alexander who took her in.

During this time Hadrian got information the head of the Pandemonium Club, a figure called "the Magister", became notorious in the Shadow World.

Alexander tracked down the so called "Magister" and soon found a powerful vampire named Alexei de Quincey and several other vampires in his clan.All of them were captured,but Alexander was not sure if this person was "The Magister"

But after some talk with Alexei,he was able to find that Axel Mortmain wasthe Magister, was the head of the Pandemonium Club until 1878. Having slowed his aging through the use of dark magic, Mortmain dedicated his life to avenging his parents' deaths. He made Tessa Gray's existence possible, hoping to use her for his own purposes to create a new race, a form of warlocks, half-demons and half-Shadowhunters, that are superior to the Nephilim and meant to cause their destruction.

But with Alexander's quick intervention Axel was killed and all his research was confesticated.

Alexander gave this research to Magnus,who was slightly shocked and said"I did hear about this concept from Leanardo.But to think John and Axel went to this length to create them is amazing."

Alexander nodded and replied"Yes the fact he was able to create a theory about using animated demon energy was dangerous and his son really believed John was innocent was slightly unbelievable. "

Magnus agreed while he knew Axel Mortmain's history from Alexander.

Axel Mortmain was raised by a warlock couple, John and Anne Shade. From his adoptive father, John, Mortmain developed a shared interest in mechanical tinkering and the possibility of combining magic with devices.

His adoptive parents were both murdered by the Clave sometime after 1815. While he was also hunted, he was never found by the Shadowhunters. Mortmain believed that his parents were unjustly murdered, particularly Anne, who was apparently unaware of the full extent of John's dealings and plans. Bent on revenge, Mortmain began plotting the massacre of the race of Shadowhunters. Establishing a new identity, he chose the surname "Mortmain", which means "hand of death" in French, for himself.

While he studied the pendant made by John Shade and asked"So this is pendant that was housing Ithuriel?"

Alexander nodded and replied"Yeah I released him,but if Clave knew about this chances them calling for every warlocks head would be a huge possibility."

Magnus chuckled and said"You know they will do that right."
