[Chapter 99] The Pain

I push off with my legs as I dodge to the left, as I put power into my legs, I suddenly feel the machine make a silent hum as it's legs launch me to the left. As I land, I try to calmly rationalize my current situation, after all, being forced to suddenly fight a robot army is definitely not normal. 'Ok, I need to figure out my abilities and my range of mov-' I dodge to the right as to be barely missed by a blue beam of sizzling death.

I look to my side as I see the girl running into the distance, looking back every now and then. I watch as I see a machine look towards her direction and slowly aim at her. A blue ball of energy begins to form in the robots chamber as it is about to shoot with a fully charged shot.

'Oh no you don't!' I suddenly launch into the air as I put all of the power into my kick as I grab onto the robots arm cannon. It's arm sways as I clamp into the arm with my robotic claws and begin to tear into the armor with my mechanized snout and metal teeth. A blue beam of sizzling light launches out as the robots arm misses and aims at the ground, burning a black hole in the spot it just aimed.

The robot begins to wave its arm around as I continue to tear into it with full force before suddenly reaching what looks to be a thick tube. I bite into it and watch as a blue liquid flows from the tube. I suddenly feel a hand grab my neck as the 3D model turns red around my nape with warning signs shown and the silver bar begins to fill.

I am lifted into the air and can't turn around for the life of me, I watch as I am suddenly flung onto the muddy ground and see a barrel fill my view as I hear a voice echo out from the suit in a young female voice. "Die bitch."

At first, nothing happens, then I watch as the arm explodes in a glory of lights and the robot is sent stumbling to the ground. These robots are bipedal and have an arm cannon instead of two hands. There is a clear cockpit in the front that seems to be made of one way glass, making it impossible to look inside.

Now this robot is missing an entire limb, sparks are flying from the robot as it tries to get up, but I'm not giving it that chance. 'Now's a good time to see what my ultimate ability is.' I get low and put all of the power into my legs, and now try to figure out how to activate my ability.

"Start!"

"Go!"

"Activate!"

I inwardly sigh as I see the robot get up. 'Why won't this stupid thing activate?!' I hear a rev as I feel power increase in my legs to an insane rate. Suddenly, I am bolting towards the robot at what feels like 90 miles per minute. I barely have enough time to react and jump at the robot before suddenly hearing metal screech and a girl scream. I watch as the once massive robot is now crushed like a tin can. Among the wires and broken parts is what looks like blood.

I quickly look away, trying to avoid the gruesome scene. Just to feel my skin begin to melt and warning signs flaring in my head. My vision turns red as the model turns crimson with the warnings of damage echo in my ears. I scream in pain as my vision goes dark and the pain disappears. This is the beginning of my time loop.

I quickly am brought back as I am about to yell my metallic screech before stopping myself. 'I don't want to die again, that is painful as shit! Better to sneak and draw the attention when it is needed most.' I crouch down and slowly walk backwards into the ditch I was in moments ago.

I suddenly hear a voice beside me, "What is that suit?! You modified it even more than it already was?!"

I look over and see the Asian girl looking at me wide eyed. I quickly look down at the soft ground and begin to dig into the mud. I quickly take a claw and guide her into the hole. She looks at me oddly as I pick her short stature up and put her into it as I say one sentence.

"Hide, things are about to get messy." 'I have no connections with this women until now, but I feel as if I have known her for a while now.'
