Will They Survive?

As soon as they heard this news, they went to the castle to meet him. 

Zen:- Greetings to the sun of the Trobotdom Duchy. I am Zen Paxton.

Nora:- Greetings to the sun of the Trobotdom Duchy. I am Nora Floid.

Lucas:- Greetings to the sun of the Trobotdom Duchy. I am Lucas Averill. 

Zen, Nora & Lucas:- We heard you summoned us. (They all said with a bow)

The duke:- The pleasure is all mine. Welcome to the palace brave warriors. I heard you guys fought with those monsters on the way?

Zen:- That is correct. We got to be lucky to have a spiritual warrior among us. So we could face them. But still we can't kill them.

The duke:- I see. Well, I want to propose something to you. I hope you will agree. 

Nora:- What is it, your grace? 

The duke:- You must have heard by now that 40% of our duchy is now invaded by those monsters. As you know, Trobotdom duchy is a human based duchy. So we are weak in power in front of those monsters. We are trying our best. But we can't defeat them. We have requested help from the Imperial family but there are more places where monsters are appearing. So it's taking a long time for them to come. You guys are our only hope. Please help us. I will give you guys anything you wish. 

Zen, Nora and Lucas looked at each other. 

Nora:- Your grace, it would be an honor for us to help you. We don't know how much we can do, since Lucas recently awakened his power. But we will try our best.

The duke:- Thank you for your choice. We will be glad for this help. Then I will prepare your rooms in the Castle. Please take a good rest tonight. 

After that they took some rest in their rooms. Then they took refreshments and went out with a knight assigned by the duke. He informs them about the situation in more detail. 

That knight:- These monster's appeared a year ago in our duchy. At first we thought it would be just some normal monsters. So we sent a batch of knights to eliminate them. But it wasn't some but a big army. No matter how much we harm them, they just don't die,also more of them keep coming. There was no end to it and each passing day they grew stronger. Thousands of people have already became their food. Even after a lot of research, we couldn't know anything about them. Where they came from, what they are, How they came here, nothing at all. We are losing manpower. Even a batch of Imperial knights came, inspected them and returned to report back. We were losing our hopes as days were passing. But we now see a glimpse of hope since you guys are here. 

Nora:- So, nobody knows where they exactly came from? 

That knight:- Unfortunately no. 

Nora:- Then we have to stop them before they spread more.

Zen:- Yes. Lucas. It would be a big pressure for you since you are the only spiritual warrior among us. Be prepared.

Lucas:- Don't worry, I'm prepared. But I'm a little nervous. I can only subdue their power but I need other's help to kill them after I tired them out.

That knight:- Sure. We will assist you until our last breath.

Then they started fighting once they reached the battlefield. The situation was really worse. But thanks to Lucas's power, they managed to injure half of them in 1 week. But there was still more. They need to finish this quickly so they don't delay their journey too much. The next day, Lucas and Nora went to the battlefield. Zen's sword was a little damaged. So Zen went to a sword crafter to repair his sword. After repairing the sword, he was coming back. When he was about to pass an alley, he saw someone standing in the dark. That person looked a little mysterious. So, he decided to check. He steps closer to there and calls that person from behind.

Zen:- Excuse me? May I know what you are doing here alone? It's not safe to roam around here even in day time. 

Old Woman:- At last I got to see you awake. 

Zen:- What? Do you know me?

Old Woman:- I do know you. 

Zen:- But how? Who are you?

Old Woman:- I can't tell you that right now young man. Imagine me as your guardian angel. Now listen to me. Hurry back to your friends. They are in trouble. You three need to stick together until you get to your destination. You guys need each other to find you guy's real potential. Now go. Save your friends. 

Zen:- Wait, what do you mean, granny? Please tell me clearly before you go.… (before he could say anymore, a heavy wind started to blow. He couldn't open his eyes for dust. The old woman disappeared)

Zen:- What the? Where did she go? Should I listen to her? At least I have to make sure if Nora and Lucas are safe or not. (He started running to his lungs towards the battlefield) 

Zen quickly hurried to the battlefield. As he reached there, he saw a frightening scene. It was a bloody mess. This time it wasn't the monsters only, there were some other mysterious people too. They were wearing long cloaks and masks. Lucas and Nora were heavily injured. So, Zen unsheathe his sword and also got in the battle. Even though Lucas and Nora were injured, they still fought. But the situation was getting out of control. Lots of people were losing their lives. No one could even take a proper breath before attacking another. Zen couldn't think straight. Lucas's condition was worsening too. Nora was barely holding back. 

Suddenly Those mysterious men chant something and in a big circle type, something appears in the sky. A huge monster came out of that circle.
