20 Fiancé

Anna went to work as usual but her morning sickness got worse day by day. And she just felt so tired despite having the same workload. She also had to endure having to throw up her meals due to the perfumes of her colleagues.

She couldn't possibly tell everyone that their perfumes were too strong. It would be like announcing to everyone that she was sensitive to scents. Their theories might get them to the truth that she was pregnant.

On Thursday, she took another long break and once again her boss scolded her. He gave her thrice the work he had given her last time. She almost picked a fight but her friends stopped her and promised that they would help her finish it instead.

She was so grateful to be blessed with such friends. Still, it was a lot of work that she was burned out after it. She was grateful that Lexus would be picking her up.

And on Friday, she realized that her friends at work already knew about Lexus.

One of them had seen him offer her flowers, the first day he went to pick her up, and it circulated in their circle.

They secretly observed her so they knew that Lexus sends her to work and picks him up in the afternoon. Thankfully, they invited her to have lunch somewhere more private and that was where they asked her.

"Who is that hottie? He is your boyfriend right?"

"Something like that," Anna replied as she fished for the ring in her pocket.

"Eh? What do you mean something like that?"

"He is my fiancé. We are getting married soon," Anna admitted and wore her engagement ring to show it off. They all gasped at the news she told them.

"What?!!"

"Already?!! You always said you were single"

"Then you must have been dating him for some time. Were we that untrustworthy?"

"Why did you never introduce him? Is he some kind of celebrity?"

"Oh my! Is that why he never gets out of his car?"

They got all excited and asked her too many questions all at once that she didn't know whom to answer first.

"Calm down. I'm single just a few days ago."

"Huh? Then why are you already engaged? Did he point his gun at you or something or did you fall so hard that you were the one who pointed a gun at him?"

"Hey, excuse me. He fell for my charms," Anna replied.

"Then what exactly is going on?"

Anna sighed and told them her situation. They already knew about her grandparents hounding her for great-grandchildren. So she told them that her grandma was hospitalized and even left her will.

She explained to them that she also wanted a child of her own so she went to a bar alone to look for a sperm donor; which she did not intend to inform.

But when she was finally pregnant, he suddenly appeared out of nowhere and insisted that he would take responsibility.

"Oh my! Did he like you that much? Just how well did you perform that night?" they asked eagerly.

"I did my best, okay? I was desperate for a child so I made sure we do it a lot. But I didn't even really need to put so much effort since he was a beast," she sighed at the recollection; a light blush colored her face.

Her friends were all excited for her and eagerly asked how they got engaged. She told them a shorter version of what happened.

"Oh my! He seems really into you."

"Not me. It's the child. He's doing everything for the child," Anna emphasized to stop her friends from going to fantasy land.

She had noticed that Lexus truly did not want his child to be fatherless. She was glad that at least that part was true. How she would survive a marriage without love? She didn't know either. She would go with the flow in the meantime.

After all, even if it was just for the baby's sake and not hers, Lexus had been taking care of her well the past few days. He picked her up in the morning and drove her home in the evening. He even cooked her dinners.

And that day, he also prepared her breakfast. He had slyly slept beside her just because she fell asleep in his car and did not wake up to eat dinner.

Anna was shocked when she woke up with a naked man hugging her. And she was stark naked too. She could even feel his morning boner against her back. She panicked thinking that she might have entered the wrong car the previous night.

It was still four in the morning and the lights were off so she didn't see his face. She screamed and almost hit him with her bedside lamp if he hadn't caught it.

"Hey, it's me, calm down," Lexus' voice greeted and she sighed in relief. He switched on the light and their nakedness greeted her. She threw a pillow at his boner and he caught it before it hit him.

"You pervert! What did you do to me last night?" she screamed. She couldn't believe he went ahead and did something while she was totally spent due to exhaustion. Just how much more animalistic could he be?

"Nothing. I just stripped you off since it's uncomfortable to sleep with your work clothes," he said but he was clearly lying.

"You bastard. Don't ever come to my place again," she said as she covered her body with the sheets and looked away. His hard-on getting more erect in front of her was distracting. And he was not in the least bit ashamed of it. He got more erect when she asked what he did last night so she was sure he did something.

"Get out," she chased him away but she got pushed down the bed instead and he hovered over her.

He kissed her and she ended up responding because the way he moved his tongue was simply too tempting. His hand explored her and just when things were heating up, her stomach growled in hunger and his, followed shortly after.

"Don't tell me you also didn't eat last night?" she inquired.

"I was waiting for you to wake up so we could eat together," he replied. And so, instead of devouring each other, they had to have breakfast.
