I walked toward the steps to go up to my room. I looked back, watching as eyes analyzed me from head to toe. Strange that I found myself excited about it.

I ran up to my room and stripped, running straight for the bathroom. I hopped straight into the shower. I was running on limited time. Bathe. Brush your teeth. Shave. Don’t forget that deodorant.

Cycling through my closet, I found the perfect dress to wear tonight. That elegant and flattering black dress that catered to my curves. Backless and fitted. Knee length and smooth. That even wear that paired perfect with my gold heels and jewelry.

A splash of makeup and a sleek bun that I mastered in a just a few minutes, I was ready to go.

Standing in front of the mirror, I was nervous to walk down the stairs. I wasn’t sure which reaction I would receive from him.

I also wasn’t sure how my body would react being near him again.
