She answered hesitantly. "Hello?"
"Rose, it's Jack. Look, I heard what happened with you and Mr Morningstar," he said sympathetically. "But I may have a proposition for you if you're interested."
Rose tensed, curiosity and doubt warring within. She listened intently as Jack continued telling her everything that Lucas and he had discussed.
Rose took a shaky breath. A new opportunity to claim her place once again!
