16 Uzumaki Household

Today, Rem found himself in the library scrolling through books. He was supposed to be getting ready for Afterschool lessons but Uruka had decided against them continuing Afterschool lessons… for reasons Rem was not aware of.

"Ah, an official Sunagakure history book," Rem gaped at his find.

The History books that were available to the Hidden villages were sponsored by the Kage, which meant the Kage must read through them before publishing and spreading it to the other Villages.

Of course, the history books within the village and ones available to other villages were two entirely different things. Rem gave a small scroll through the Sunagakure history book and chuckled, as he suspected it was different from what he was acquainted with over in Suna but still history was history no matter who told the tale.

'But this book makes Suna sound cool,' Rem thought while suppressing the urge to throw up.

Sunagakure was located in the middle of a desolate forest, the residents of Sunagakure had to fight off the heavy heat during the day and the chilling cold during the night, Rem had been a resident of Sunagakure up until last month and he knew how life felt in on the inside of Sunagakure- it was living hell for Civilians who had no trade to support them.

A No-name Civilian could become a Shinobi and the life there still didn't get sweeter, no it was more bitter though. Being exposed to dangerous missions even though one was a Genin was mindbreaking but in turn it helped Sunagakure get more experienced and ruthless Shinobi.

Rem pushed the book back into the shelf and sighed.

'Konohagakure is relatively peaceful,' Rem thought, 'but because of this fact, The Genin are weaker,'

Just because they were weaker and less ruthless didn't mean they weren't prodigies in their own right, there were some prodigies hidden amongst others- People like Naruko Uzumaki who by the time she became Genin might be able to gain Chunin Level strength, Sasuke and Satsuki Uchiha were also prodigies in their own right with their clan's unique Taijutsu and they could awaken the Sharingan too which would make them powerhouses, There were also hidden talents like Ino Yamanaka, Hinata Hyuga and so forth but Rem was sure about one thing.

'Kiba can never be one of them,' Rem thought with a slight snicker.

Kiba surely wasn't strong enough to be considered as a proper opponent, The Jutsu he was developing was solely based on Taijutsu and Rem couldn't help but think that Kiba deserved to have some Ninjutsu in his arsenal.

'Just because you're from a family that specializes in Taijutsu,' Rem thought, 'Doesn't mean you should specialize too much in that, Sometimes it's good to change things up,'

It was still some months away from the Graduation Exam but Rem didn't see any harm in not studying for it, but there was a problem- The books that were available weren't going to help him much.

The official past questions textbook for the Theoretical exams weren't available until 30 days before the exam.

'That's fucking annoying,' Rem thought.

Was he supposed to be playing around until the exam?! There was always another way.

'Clan kids,' Rem thought, the clan kids had access to everything and they were always the ones who scored high in the exams, 'It really is a privilege being a Clan kid,'

Well he wanted to drop by Naruko's house anyway and see what she was up to, so he could get the chance to ask her for Studying material while he was there.

Rem already had the address of the Uzumaki heiress in his head, she wasn't very brief in the description and Rem was thankful for that.

According to Naruko, it had a pink roof and Rem was thankful for that piece of information- there was only one house in the entirety of Konohagakure that had a pink roof and it was the Uzumaki household.

Rem landed on a tall tree in the compound and whistled, it had taken him a total of three minutes to get here, even when he moved at Chunin Level speed.

It was a nice big house which attracted a lot of gazes, Truly Rem knew that it was an abode fit for a Kage.

But a minute didn't pass and shurikens were already flying through the air toward him, Rem was quick to see them and he descended. The Shurikens made contact with the tree but Rem could barely react as a pink… no a red blur was rushing at him.

His eyes focused as he poured Chakra into his feet, he was sure that at the speed she was moving at, the moment he landed on the ground, he would get attacked but by pouring Chakra into his feet, he increased his weight… by just a little, he was confident in dodging the attack.

And it happened more quickly than Rem thought, as soon as the tips of his toes touched the ground, he vanished into thin air much to Kushina's surprise and Rem appeared behind the Red haired Uzumaki.

"Who are you?" Kushina asked.

"I got permission to be here,"
