1 The Layers of Yamani Land

A few hundred years ago, they lived on seven layers of soil, on which the uppermost part was the home of the slaves, or what they called "foodstuffs," the dwelling place for the human race. In the sixth section is referred to as the house for buying and selling various goods, which can also be referred to as the market.

The fifth section is a place of entertainment. While the fourth section is where the residents live, the lowest third layer was the territory of Candrasas and their subordinates, and the second lowest was the location of the fortress where Candrasas and the other elites met.

The giant castle surrounded by the Black Ocean was once called "The Queen's Body." The seventh part, as well as the deepest part of the land of Yamani, is the palace belonging to the Queen and a human who has accompanied her since two years ago.

Each soil layer is usually abbreviated as L-07 until the bottom is referred to as L-01. Everyone can freely enter and exit from L-07 to L-04, while workers in certain fields who have been labeled as Seniors now have access to the third lowest layer, where the Candrasas live.

Yamani and the Earth have different time zones. One year on Yamani is equal to 100 years on Earth, so for the 200 years that have passed on Earth, on the mainland of Yamani it only feels like two years. Due to a Queen's pact with humans that catches her eye, the woman creates a world where humans live, which is named Earth.

However, it happened beyond the knowledge of the people of Yamani, until the disappearance of most of the humans in the last two years caused a big commotion among the people of Yamani.

The promise that has been broken and makes the three main gates on Earth open, causes considerable chaos because the people of Yamani, who have not eaten humans for a long time, are scrambling to catch the weak creature. The chaos that day made the Candrasas have to step in and calm everything down. They understood why the residents looked so hungry when they found humans again. Since the residents had not eaten humans for two years, the chaos was a normal reaction for them.

Even though the Candrasas still didn't think that the reactions of the residents would be so difficult for them to handle.

Humans were once used as special food for the elite because of their sudden disappearance two years ago. It's natural that the residents of Yamani in the upper layers went crazy because of the north gate that suddenly opened wide and presented thousands of people on the ocean.

After all the creatures in every layer of land had calmed down, Yohana, one of the Candrasa members, began to show several pictures of the faces of someone who had been considered a fugitive for violating the agreement. There were some people they didn't know, and there were also two people the Yamani knew very well because they were part of the elite that once existed and lived in the third lowest tier of the world.

The two people they knew very well were Edwin Tirtaliandra, as a member of Candrasa who has now been expelled, and Dirga Satria Putra, as his subordinate. The rest were several humans who had turned into Wrena and were labeled as "Pillar members," as well as one real human who didn't become Wrena. Given that all of those people were on the Black Book's list of fugitives, it was clear that they were strong enough to survive. They were definitely not someone to be underestimated.

All the names that have ever entered the Black Book list are not ordinary creatures.

"The calculation of the years in Yamani and on Earth is different," Clarissa muttered while cleaning the tip of her pen. Her eyes stared straight at the faces that had now been posted on the noticeboard in her office lobby. "Do you remember the first time Earth was expelled from Yamani and we lost all our favorite foodstuffs? At that time, both worlds were in the same year, namely 1818. However, the time zone after that changed, and the Queen determined that Earth was formed in 1820, while we survived in the actual year, 1818.

"One year in Yamani is equal to 100 years on human earth. Right now, Earth enters 2020 when they return to the land of Yamani, whereas here we are, in 1820.

"Their life is accelerated on Earth and after 200 years of life without us, they don't remember anything about what they experienced two hundred years ago. They don't remember anything about Yamani. They forget whatever it was they went through hundreds of years ago. Then when living in Yamani, just by living in a different world and having a slightly faster time zone than Yamani, they now really can't recognize their own history.

"Humans are... the most naive creatures in this universe."

The girl smiled faintly, causing the colleague who had been listening to her explanation for a long time to start planting the seeds of suspicion in the smile that Clarissa had just put on her lips. "What are you thinking … Claris—"

"Finally, they announced that Dirga and Mr. Edwrin were rebels who sided with humans," Clarissa muttered, then turned to look at her co-workers. "I just want to know why the Dirga as a Wrena and Mr. Edwin are interested in such a weak creature."

"You—"

"I've made up my mind ... I want to meet Dirga."

"Are you serious?"

"I'm serious."

"So you're going to take that S tier mission?" her friend concluded.

Clarissa nodded lightly, "Yeah, after all... When it comes to searching for Dirga, that means I've been doing missions at that level for a very long time. I'm sure, at least I can find him here. He's no longer outside Yamani, right?"

At least, that's what Clarissa confidently told her friend a year ago. In reality, she couldn't find Dirga at all, even after a year had passed.

Now it's already 1821. For a whole year, she couldn't find Dirga anywhere, even though some of her friends had managed to find the rest of the Berawa members and get paid for their services. Last time, she received news that Dirga is quite close to several Pillar members, namely Jane, Putra, Kintan, and one of the most famous is Arta, a former Pillar who has appeared in the newspapers several times but has never been caught. The young man seemed to know all sides of this world, so it was very easy for him to move from one layer to another.

Apart from Arta, there was no one close to Dirga that he could find, especially Mr. Edwin. She hadn't even heard anything from him since the first humans returned to their universe.

"They say that the sign that Arta is coming is the drops of blood that fall on their bodies." Clarissa had a monologue without realizing it. She remembered several times her colleagues had discussed Arta because he always came and went mysteriously. In the blink of an eye, he could disappear from their sight. "However, this year he only appeared a few times, and it was at a location where Candrasa was present ..." She continued, subconsciously. Clarissa fell silent as the various tangled threads began to show a straight line in her head, "Could it be?!"
