Fault

Achlys woke up to find the rest still asleep , she felt pains and was reminded of what happened.

The person was so powerful which means he must be an immortal. The only immortals that existed are her mother and him.

Even if her mother was angry with her for neglecting her duties and leaving , she couldn't attack her like this , so it could only be him.

The man she heard of in tales, who uses people to cultivate his power and kills brutally. She was confused, why will someone like that come here or was there an unknown person who had broken through the seventh level of magic forces .

She was thinking about this , when she noticed that the rest had woken up and were about to move. Struggling , achlys stood up and went to meet them.

"And I thought you were going to sleep there" Naomi said packing up the last bag. " We should move now if we want to make it back in time" Kali said

They walked through the forest keeping a close distance , "Lucius , do you smell something unusual , it might be the flower " Naomi asked getting tired from the walk. Lucius main power was in smell. He could detect something and it's origin from its smell. He could also smell things from a long distance.

" No " , he replied. " There is only smell of grass, animals, ponds and miasma" . he added.

They walked further into the forest without saying anything to each other. " Wait " Lucius said stopping them " what is it " Callum asked

" I think the plants is over there " Lucius replied.

" How can you be sure it is the flower",Achlys said.

" Ever since I was young, I have learned different plants and the smell, the life drenching plants only blooms once , so if I perceive something different that isn't the smell of animals or the plants I know, then it must be the flower" Lucius replied smiling.

"Hmph...., what a show off " Naomi mumured .

"Maybe there are just other plants that you don't know about" Callum said facing Lucius

"We will know once we check right instead of arguing" Achlys grumbled.

Kali narrowed her eyes through that part of the forest. One of her skills was vision. She could see things from far distances. She could also see through substances. This skill was revered among magic practitioners because it could be used to see danger ahead and locate poison in food, or human body.

After looking for a while , she turned back to look at the rest. " There is nothing there" Kali said . " No way , I'm sure it is from that place " Lucius replied confused .

"Who should we believe" Naomi said looking at the both of them. "Judging by the look of the place , it must have been there about eight hours ago that is why Lucius can still smell it, but now it is gone" Kali replied
